Original Review on 08-03-2017:

I didn't end up with the system I was expecting, and I now have concerns about the supplier charges because I ended up with a single phase inverter on a three phase system.

Communication with Expert Solar Services has been very poor, they don't seem to want to return calls once you have committed to buy the system, however their installers were very good.

If the Solaray Energy Pty. Ltd. salesman bothered to visit my house as I requested, instead of just quoting in an email, they probably would have got the job, as they had the system I was really hoping to install.

6 months later we asked Michael: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

Its mid September and I still don't know if I am getting any benefits. I was told when I purchased the system that my electricity supplier would be notified that a solar system had been installed with a new meter, and they would give them the meter reading from the old meter, this was not done as far as I am aware, because the first bill I received after installing the system had no mention of solar, plus it was an estimated the bill and it was much higher than the actual reading on the new meter which started at zero, so I knew exactly how much power had been used, except for the three days between, the start date of the meter reading on my bill and the solar installation. I contacted Energy Australia with my concerns regarding the bill and it's lack of solar information, their next bill also failed to show any solar information, it's now mid September and I am still trying to get an accurate bill, showing the power we have used and the the solar offset.
According to the software monitoring the system, I have generated 2.7mw of power, according to the export indication on the meter, I'm using around half to two thirds of that during the day and the rest goes back into the grid. A new bill is due where all these things have been supposedly fixed, so we will see.
Expert Solar Services have good installers but the rest of the company appears to be useless, once they had my money, I had problems contacting them organising a day for the installation. Since then, because they apparently didn't inform the supplier about the changes to my connection, it has caused me to spend a lot of time making many phone calls to Energy Australia, trying to get the problems resolved. I would not recommend Expert Solar Services to anyone as a supplier.

I paid my $1500 deposit in November 2016, and now no one is returning my calls. Always the receptionist tells me she doesn't know about the solar work and that someone who does will call me back later. No one ever does call me back.
At first I was told to expect a December install, then January, then February. Since then, no hint of an install date. It's now April 2017 and I'm wondering if the company is going out of business and if I have any chance of getting my money back.
I had high hopes for this system and had been wanting to add battery storage to it. Very disappointed.
