Thanks but no thanks Solar Quotes
Following Solar Quotes process of three suppliers contacting us to supply a quote, a friend recommended getting a quote from a separate installer, who we eventually went with who was punctual and tidy and we have yet to change the grid connection. We have assurances and warranties as recommended by Solar Quotes.Although we did not proceed with Solar Quotes, we were happy with all our dealings with them, including the punctuality of the three quotes commissioned through Solar Quotes as well as their attitudes.
Don't bother, terrible after sales care.
After getting quotes, a friend suggested Robbie although told me he is very poor at getting back to people. I should have avoided using him when I heard this.He installed the system and seemed to do a good job but getting after sales service from him is pretty much non existent.
I have had 2 issues with the inverter since and after many unreturned calls and messages over weeks/months, I had to pay another electrician to fix the problems even though the system is still under warranty.
The inverter has always run extremely hot since Robbie's install and despite me telling him about this issue, he did nothing to remedy the problem. The electrician who had to fix the last inverter issue this year said they have never had an inverter run that hot and said it was really concerning.
I had recommended Robbie to others when he first put my system in but regret it now as he clearly wipes his hands of you once the money is in his pocket.
