Great service on a great system
We had a professional install of a new Sigenergy system by the team at Sunstainable. The system is working very well, with connection to Amber including curtailment working perfectly first time without any problems or delays.The quoting process was smooth, with the team understanding what I wanted, and I appreciated the site inspection during quoting to avoid any surprises.
The installation team were knowledgeable, professional, polite, cleaned up and worked around our needs, including the special software access requests, which required a little bit of extra effort.
Even the wait time for installation was reasonable, considering the current crush on availability and the huge number of jobs created by the Cheaper Home Batteries Rebate.
I would definitely recommend this system and these installers.

The knowledge gained from Solar Quotes website better equipped us to decide on the most suitable system - thank you Finn. We chose Simax panels with a Sunnyboy invertor and Sustainable P/L to install it as they were innovative enough to find a way to fit a 4kw system on our restricted roof area when others said it could not be done.

Outstanding Solar Experience After 10 Months of Research
I spent 10 months researching solar and battery options while renovating my home, determined to make it as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible. Out of all the quotes I received, Peter, the owner of Sunstainable, stood out as the most logical and straightforward. He was fantastic to deal with — I asked endless questions, and he always provided clear answers, thoughtful suggestions, and practical alternatives.When it came time for installation, his team was professional, courteous, and tidy, with excellent communication throughout. (Importantly, they don’t use subcontractors.) The system has been running since October 2024, and I recently expanded it from 16kW to 24kW to cover air conditioning needs. To my surprise, I’ve been able to run my home mostly off-grid for nearly 12 months. With the extra battery I foresee any issues this summer.
Along the way, I faced several hurdles with our local poles and wires company, but Peter stood by me, and we worked through the challenges together. That support alone speaks volumes about his commitment.
I highly recommend Sunstainable. In fact, I recently had Peter and his team install the same system at my son’s house — and once again, the experience was seamless.
