DASS Tech Co. Ltd. was established in 2006. In 2012, the company kicked off its overseas expansion in Australia and Thailand. 

While the firm's primary focus has historically been the production of inverters, under its "New Vision 2030" DASS Tech has also moved into other areas covering solar energy, EV charging infrastructure and battery storage solutions.

DASS Tech says it is preparing for a 2026 IPO on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE), with a subsequent NASDAQ listing in the United States also in the works.

Currently the company has an annual inverter production capacity of more than 1GW.

DASS Tech Inverters In Australia

When DASS Tech inverters were approved for use by the Clean Energy Council, there were several models from the Soleaf series available in Australia:

• DSP-1222K2(A) (2.2 kW)
• DSP-1217K2(A) (1.7 kW)
• DSP-123K2(a)  (3 kW)
• DSP-M123K2 (3 kW)

The CEC listings for these models expired in 2016 and 2017.

Warranty Details 

DASS Tech inverters typically came with a standard 5-year warranty, with options to extend it further. Given the timeframe, it appears any DASS Tech solar inverters installed in Australia during the period they were CEC-approved would no longer be covered by warranty. Instead of shelling out for a repair, you'd probably be better off choosing a new inverter with local support.
