Another Chinese brand supplying solar panels for the Australian residential market at one point was Infinity New Energy - and like many of its peers at the time, it no longer does.

Infinity New Energy Solar Panels In Australia

As at early 2025, there are no Infinity New Energy solar panels listed on the Clean Energy Council's approved list - meaning these panels aren't eligible for the national solar rebate and some state incentives. And even if they were listed, it doesn't appear anyone in Australia is carrying them any more.

Among the panels that were available here at one stage was the INE-300-6PA. This was a 300 Watt monocrystalline module with a claimed efficiency of 15.5%, and a temperature coefficient of Pmax of -0.41 %/°C. The latter is a measurement of performance loss above a panel temperature of 25C. -0.41 %/°C would have been considered acceptable at the time, but is poor by today's standards.

The INE-300-6PA measured 1956 x 992 x 40 mm and weighed a whopping 27.6 kilograms.

Warranty Details

The INE range of panels was accompanied by a 12-year product warranty and a 20-year performance warranty. This means most Infinity New Energy modules installed in Australia are likely to be still covered by both. But as the company doesn't have a presence here, your best course of action for a warranty claim is to contact the firm that supplied and installed them.

Although these panels are supposed to be very good so far since installation and during the current summer period they have not produced more than 4.3Kw. They are rated at 250 to 260 panels. I know there are losses but thought they would perform a little better? The panels do seem to operate in reasonably poor light conditions though.
