Solar system installed
Price was good, went with a local company for ease of warranty and other issues, company were very helpful and completed all paperwork.Highly recommended

A Quality, Integrated System well Delivered and Installed
The principal (and salesman) was knowledgeable and responsive and gave me three major alternatives. I liked the QCells system as it supplied the inverter and two batteries as an integrated unit in three boxes. In particular the batteries are charged by DC directly from the inverter. This means that the whole 5kW inverter output can be used by the home or exported to the grid (6kW is max per phase where I am), and the batteries can be charged out of the overall 11kW solar array.After ordering, the system was delivered and installed by an excellent team in two days right before Christmas, including approval by the inspector. I wanted this so I could benefit from the full value of the STCs before they dropped on 1st January. The team left no mess, explained what I needed to know and listened carefully to any inputs I had.
Overall a very positive experience at a good price.

Disappointed
Sales and quoting were quick and efficient.Installation seemed rushed, when the inspector came to check there was a problem, fairly minor but it took two more visits and another inspection before the ces was issued.
They did all that they needed to/quoted to do do but there was a lack of communication after the first non compliance inspection. We were also pushed to pay the balance before it was all completed and received an incorrect invoice. (We eventually paid half of what was owing) still waiting for the grid connection to be completed. Original ratings

10 months later we asked Mark: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
We haven't needed to have any more contact with Advanced Solar and Batteries as the system has been working well.Will not pay for itself as quickly as we might have hoped, but that is due to the electricity supplier charges, not the system itself.
