Got a bit confused with all the phone calls from solar companies and thought this one was one of your recommendations, but they were very good, very easy to talk to, installers were great and helpfull. We haven't got the battery yet, waiting for the rebate to come in. The company was Sun Central Solar.
Unhappy customer
Started out good with the sales team brought a 6.6kw solar system in May last year then decided to upgrade with a 13.2kw battery which was ordered 28/11/24 that took until January 2025 to installedHave just in the last few weeks discovered that the battery was not working correctly due to a installer fault from a high electricity bill
Very unhappy with the after sales service being offered

Thanks for reviewing us on Solar Quotes, although I would add you did not come through this service as we do not use Solar Quotes. For clarification, while you are well within your rights to put up a review of our service, it is important not to omit facts that might be also relevant to the general public when posting online.
Things such as, the time of the year you signed up for the battery. Most companies including our own, normally will have a whole month to 6 weeks worth of work ahead of us, coming into the busier Xmas months, and then we ourselves take a full month off for rest for the whole crew, as most have very few breaks during the year, working up to 6 days a week to complete our jobs. As you signed up on the 28th of Nov 2024, and we closed on the 19th of Dec for a month, it is not entirely unreasonable for the installation to have then occurred late Jan early Feb. And you were also very well aware of the time of the year. While that may be inconvenient, it's not something we could avoid. With regards to your battery fault, you contacted the office early to mid June, saying you had a fault. Our team investigated both with our birds eye view into the software and also with Alpha, and it was confirmed this would need a site visit. I then personally, as the MD of the company, offered you compensation for the downtime between when you noticed the fault, and when we could get back out to fix the issue, without you even asking for this. You were happy with this. No companies do that these days, but we did, to the tune of $200 which was a calculation of the time to get back out against battery savings. Bear in mind, you are a 7 hr round trip in the country from our teams, so again not unreasonable for us to compensate you for the downtime, but also for you to exercise some level of patience while we arrange this.
You left out all of these points above in your review, making our business look like we do not care, when this is very much the opposite. As you can see from all of our Google Business and Product Review reviews, I personally respond to all our valued clients, put our hand up where we need to improve, but it's also important and incumbent that facts are not omitted from the public side, especially in the public domain. Opinions are one thing, facts are another, and we take these things seriously as you would.
