So why now? This website has been introduced in line with the National Energy Retail Law, which came into force on July 1.
The legislation stated that the Australian Energy Regulator must operate a price comparison website – and so Energy Made Easy was born.
Users can log on and compare their residential energy usage against other households in their area, which is a pretty handy tool if you are hoping to improve your efficiency.
And the website isn't just restricted to homeowners – if you own a small business then you can also benefit from what Energy Made Easy has to offer.
As everyone faces the threat of rising bills, the majority are left with little choice but to take action … and this website could help.
