Capable and friendly
Clay and luke have done several updates and modifications (new panels and inverter ,rewiring etc) and i have found them to be efficient , on time and reasonable , they are more than competive price wise and would be happy to have them back for any other work i might have.17 September 2016

We went with Bunya Solar - good service, local company, plenty of local reference sites and excellent price. They recommended two groups of Trina panels with Enphase micro inverters, with provision to add panels if monitoring shows we are consuming all of what we generate.8 months later we asked John: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes.Shortly after the system was installed I purchased a WattsClever EW4009 meter to better monitor electricity consumed and generated. A total waste of time, inaccurate and useless for small (less than 500Watts) changes. I then purchased a Smappee - this device does what it promises.
The Smappee was able to measure and identify most of the appliances in the house (except the dishwasher and washing machine, they are too hard at this stage due to the changing load during a wash cycle) and also enabled me to halve my overnight "always on" consumption.
Having spent almost $5,000 installing panels the $300 for the Smappee to tell me what is going on was worth it.
I would advise installing a Smappee or similar a few months before PV Panels then you will know your electricity consumption and be far better able to size your PV Panel system.

Only received one call after our contact, who didn't do stand alone systems . Heard about Bunya Solar from local recommendation .Business proprietor Clay Stafford was incredibly informative & obliging.he was an efficient system designer, provided good alternatives & simplified the process wonderfully well. Whole process from first contact to installation took 17 days. I couldn't recommend these guys more highly

Off grid excellence
Bunya are fantastic to deal with. They examined all our needs and tried to undersell, rather than oversell the installation. They were only interested in installing the size of system we needed. Better than expected. We have added an iStore 180L Heat Pump Hot Water Heater to the system, and there is still plenty of power available for other uses.
