Great guy, who was easy to work with and get personalised advice.
Quoting was a breeze.Installation went well, they were flexible and always had good communication. Tidy, polite and friendly team.
They have looked after all aspects and were available for any questions if we had them.

Great customer service and quality install
Jack was fantastic throughout the whole process. A really good guy who spent the time to walk us through the process, the options available and suggested alternatives where there was a better way to do something.The installation process went incredibly smoothly and the system has been brilliant since installed.
Strongly recommend Central Highlands solar and would definitely use them again.

Fantastic company - great people - excellent installation
Based on information provided in your website, information researched in a number of other sites, and discussions with each of the companies that provided quotes, I definitely ended up in a place where I understood the solar process very well. For these reasons, I came to the conclusion that the cost and quality of a 6.6 kw system was very similiar in the price range that each was advertising, and my decision came down to the way they sold their product, and how they treated their potential customer. Central Highland Solar were the only company who were prepared to come to my rural property without being asked, to sit down and have a honest personal easy to understand discussion about the system, the cost and the installation time frame. They are a couple of very likeable young guys, who are making a super effort to do the right thing by people and build their business. They were outstanding in every facet of the process!10 August 2023
Great service!
Jack was great to deal with throughout the entire process. Talked us through all our options. Any questions we had he was always more than happy to assist us & nothing was ever too much trouble. Very satisfied with the service.
Jack quickly put a quote together for me and when I called for more information, he -like all of the installers that quoted from solar quotes- was very informative and welcomed questions.When I accepted the quote he was able to come quickly, and he and his team were quick and efficient, ensuring my roof did not leak where the panels were removed.
Unfortunately there was no site visit prior so Jack changed the panel set up when he looked on site. Previously he saw that a tree that he thought would hinder morning sun but found that was not the case. So we have an east west system that focuses on self use.
Jack set up an app which allows me to track my solar performance and feed in which I love.
The sign off took a long time but that was not down to the installers.
We had an original 1.5 kw system that the inverter had failed, still Jack ensured that the energy supplier was updated accordingly.

The best installer, customer service, advice I have encountered for years!!
The process was simple. The proposals came in and it was immediately obvious who was listening to what was important to me. One installer did not offer a site visit with the proposal, another said he would do it if I wanted one, Central Highlands stood out as Jack sent the proposal and then asked if he could do a site visit to work through the proposal with me. He spent an hour and a half going over it, looking at options and making adjustments until we had what I think is the best system for my budget and needs. He was patient and respectful as he explained every detail and answered every question. He made it an enjoyable experience.Since then I can only describe the customer service as outstanding. It seems that nothing is too much trouble as he has done some extra unexpected work, not in the proposal, at no extra cost and with goodwill. At this stage all of the equipment is in place and I am waiting for the final inspection and commissioning, all of which Jack is organising.
I am absolutely confident that should I have any issues with the system in the future Jack will deal with it.
I cannot speak highly enough of Central Highlands Solar.

Quality work from a quality team
I was very impressed with the service offered by Jack and Central Highlands Solar.Jack came to my house to discuss what I was interested in and develop a quote for me. Unlike other companies I got quotes from I felt that Jack really listened to what I wanted and gave me honest advice. And while he had brands that he recommended I felt it was more him sharing his experience and wisdom rather than pushing a corporate agenda or sales pitch as he was happy to change to any brand I preferred.
The install was delayed by a day and a half due to poor weather but they kept me updated on the changes and I didn't feel trapped at home as can sometimes happen with tradies.
They also ended up working on a Saturday just to get the job finished and didn't charge me extra. While on my property Jack and his team were very neat and worked as quietly as one can when using power tools! I have a dog and they were also very caring in making sure he was safe and couldn't escape the yard while they were coming and going.
Overall I strongly recommend Jack and his team for knowledgeable and competent service at a competitive price.

Fantastic Installer, great installation
Jack was a very polite and informative installer who definitely wins hands down for customer service compared to the 3 other installation companies I spoke with. He was the only one who physically came to the house and advised where things would best be located and didn't hard sell any hardware or the like, giving options and price points for different systems. He ended up providing 6 different options to choose from with different components and system size answering query's about each that I had. The finished installation looks fantastic.The big difference between Central Highlands and the other companies that I spoke with is that Jack is not only the sales person but also the installer, who can give factual information because he knows. All the others had a salesperson advising from a computer screen and had an external installer who puts the product onto the roof. I wasn't comfortable with that style of business. I can't give a more highly rated review of Central Highlands Solar, and would recommend Jack and Lockie for any solar and electrical needs.

Installers were courteous, polite and efficient. Highly recommend. Central Highlands Solar and Electrical were very detailed in explaining the system efficiency and real life expectations.
