Highly recommend!
I had a great experience with Dream Solar and would highly recommend them.Working for an electricity distributor I have seen first hand the effects of dodgy workmanship and "pop up" solar companies. I was a little cautious using this company given it seemed fairly new. However the salesman was very experienced and worked very hard to give me a high quality system at a reasonable price. He was very knowledgeable and offered advice on the pros and cons on all of the different options. He was very patient with me as I asked a thousand questions about the process overall, warranties and the different panel and inverter options. I was very honest with him about my reservations and he was very understanding, considerate and worked hard to alleviate my concerns. The price I received beat 7 of the competitors' quote I had received.
The installers were very polite and clean. If I wasn't home I wouldn't have known they had been there. I wish all tradies cleaned up after themselves like these guys did! They were also very helpful and ran me through how to use the inverter once it had been installed.
The system has been operating for two and a half months so far without fault. I have installed a 5kW Fronius inverter and Canadian panels. I have been averaging high 30s, low 40s kWh per day. I am extremely happy with the results!

Great quote and job, beat bigger competitor
I had a great experience working with Dream Solar. Wonderful sales support, excellent installers. I couldn't fault anything with their quotation and quality control in terms of installation.All standards adhered to. Dream Solar quoted a better, more affordable solution than a competitor I was on the point of signing up with.
Now I have an 11kW 3 phase system with 315W KuPower Canadian Solar panels producing power from low-light dawn till dusk. The installation team left no mess behind and were polite and courteous.
Happy to give Dream Solar a 5 from 5 and thoroughly recommend them to residential and commercial customers in the greater Brisbane area.
Extremely disappointing experience with Dream Solar
I had a very poor experience with Dream Solar, particularly dealing with Sushant (Sam). The installation was promised within 1–2 weeks, but the entire process turned into a 6+ month ordeal with constant delays, missed appointments, and extremely poor communication.The installation was not done as agreed. The inverter was installed outside without my consent, even though it was supposed to be installed in the garage. The system has never worked properly, with critical components like blackout protection missing and the inverter being faulty from the beginning. On top of that, the smart meter installed was incorrect, and even the backup plug ordered from overseas took months to arrive and turned out to be for a completely different brand.
During installation, there was also damage caused to my roof, which took weeks to repair after repeated follow-ups.
Communication has been very frustrating. Sushant repeatedly provided misleading information about timelines, parts, and warranty updates. Even recently, I was contacted about replacing the inverter, but communication stopped when I tried to arrange a time—this has been a consistent pattern throughout.
Because of these issues, the system has not been functioning as intended, and I’ve had ongoing problems as a result. The level of stress, inconvenience, and lack of professionalism has been unacceptable.
I have now escalated this matter to the authorities. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious before engaging with Dream Solar especially with Sushant.
