Poor communication and never installed
A very disappointing experience. Poor customer service and communication. They do not know what is happening.Batteries I ordered were supposed to be installed a month ago. I tried contacting them, but they would not reply except for marketing trying to sell me something else. When I finally reached someone they said they'd get back to me, but didn't. When I finally got them to return my call a week later, they didn't even know if the batteries were installed yet. Then they ignored me again.
This was a warning sign. If they are this bad for an installation, what are they going to be like with a warranty claim?
Avoid!!!

Mislead and scammed
They promised a $0 power bill with a 6.6kw system. After installation, between the very existant power bill and the panel repayment, my combined bills are now higher. They know very well that a $0 bill is not possible without a battery. Their dispute resolution is a joke.Panel rating: 3/5

Fairly neat and tidy apart from a few broken tiles.
Sales process was polite and thorough in technical details. Installer team was competent and neat. Showed process of connection and done requests for timed power outlets.Panel rating: 4/5

No contact once contract signed
I signed up in August for a new inverter and battery setup.Didn't receive a call from the installer as promised in August or September.
We ended up settling on 27 October for installation. This was confirmed over email.
On 27 Oct, no one showed. No call or anything from Hitech.
I tried calling. They took a long time to answer the phone. I eventually got onto Jack who assured me that the installers would call.
A couple of hours passed and still no call from installer. So I called again.
This time I got Peter who said he would contact my salesperson Troy and they would be in touch within 20 minutes.
I waited 40 minutes and called again.
I got Jack on the phone again. He told me the installer was going to call, they were just busy on a job. Fair enough I thought. I did ask for the installers phone number at this stage, Jack wouldn't share it with me, but assured me that they would call.
I left it for 2 days. No calls.
29 Oct. I called the 1300 number yet again.
I got Jack again. He said the installers didn't come or call because it was raining for the last 2 days. (It wasn't)
He then promised me they would call in the next hour.
Then he asked me what my name is.
Jack then spelled it wrong when I asked him to read it back to me. It seemed like he was just trying to get rid of me.
It's been about 4 hours since the last time I was promised a call from the installer.
There have been no emails.
There have been no calls back.
They have done nothing to contact me.
They've taken a $100 deposit. I'm not confident at this stage that anything will be installed.
If anything changes I will update this review.
