Growatt New Energy Technology Co. Ltd (simply known as Growatt), is a Chinese solar inverter manufacturing company established in 2010. The production plants are located in China, while its offices abroad can be found in Europe (Germany and UK) and in the US; recently, Growatt has also founded its new Australian branch in Melbourne in addition to the one already operating in Sydney.
The company specializes in the production of monitoring systems, EV charging pile BUs, micro-grid BUs, storage systems, string inverters, and central inverters with a power ranging from 1kW to 1.26MW and with an annual production capacity of almost 3.6GW.
Growatt’s production lines are able to supply solar inverters that comply with international standards and for this reason are OHSAS18001, ISO14001 and ISO9001 certified.

I do not like the awful Growatt monitoring app on mobile or browser. Bad design, clumsy and incorrect. I also have a GoodWe, so can compare both.

My only real complaint at this early stage is the inability to read it when in direct sunlight.
It cannot be read until shaded. This can be offset by installing and using the Growatt App. At this time it is delivering great performance but it is obviously too early to comment on reliability

App very good for monitoring production etc - and does a push alert to my phone if any issues (with details of alert etc).
Inverter - still early days, but seems good. No noise. Failed once but was immediately detected by the app and didn't require intervention.

10kW 3 phase Inverter, has been installed on for 1 year now. Initial wi-fi set up was a bit fiddly, could be made easier. Has worked well so far, generated over 17Mwh in 1yr, that's a daily average of nearly 50kW! Some days puts out 75Kw. Does run a bit warm but doesn't seem to affect efficiency. I had an SMA inverter before and I actually think the Growatt is more efficient, let's hope it remains reliable, only time will tell.

Inverter seems to work fine so far. I installed a shade canopy over it at my cost, since the installers do not provide this. The app shows me how much power each string is generating instantaneously, although it does not show me the individual string cumulative kWh (only the total kWh) each day. So far the only drawback I can see is that the readout is not very bright and is difficult to read in bright sunlight.
