Great installer, highly recommend
Summit and Shore Energy installed a Sigenergy EVAC charger into my existing sigenergy battery system.The charger is on the other side of the house from the battery but only took a couple of hours and didnt seem to be a problem, which other installers had told me it would be.Install was clean and the installers were polite and checked I was happy with the location of the charger and cable runs before starting the install.
The company has since followed up twice to make sure there was no issues and I was happy with the install. Highly recommend anybody thinking of installing a EVAC looks here first.

Outstanding product, installation and service from the Summit+Shore team
I spoke with half a dozen installers while researching a new solar + battery setup for our home. There were plenty of products and price points on offer, but what set Summit+Shore apart was their unwavering commitment to quality. I had a very specific installation approach in mind — not the easiest — and both the system designers and installers were patient, thoughtful, and highly competent throughout.Communication was outstanding from start to finish. From design, to installation, to after?sale support, every step was clear, timely, and proactive. Friends often tell me about installers who provide vague information, confusing pricing, or installation plans that fall apart on the day. I experienced none of that with Summit+Shore. They arrived exactly when they said they would, called ahead, explained the day’s work in detail, and kept me informed of any schedule changes (including a last?minute rain delay) without any fuss.
Our project was complex: a three?phase power upgrade with a new overhead cable from the nearby pole (handled entirely by Summit+Shore), a new smart meter, a full home?backup gateway, 44 panels, a battery and inverter installation at the rear of the property, and minor switchboard upgrades. I was also replacing my hot water system at the same time, and the team integrated seamlessly with the other trades I had organised.
My one special request was that the inverter and battery be installed without unsightly external conduits. Many installers either hesitated or tried to talk me out of it, but Summit+Shore didn’t flinch. It was clear from the outset that they understood the difference between a high?quality installation and the “industry standard” cheapest, fastest and just-barely-compliant approach that so many operators default to.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team at Summit+Shore. Their professionalism, workmanship, and communication were exceptional from beginning to end.

Diligent and professional service
Could not have been happier with Summit + Shore services in the installation of our system.I was referred to the company by a work colleague which began a comprehensive and intimate planning discussion with Jack (I believe the email chain got up to approx. 40 interactions back and forth and about a dozen phone calls). He was patient explaining the technical matters for my layman level of understanding while always ensuring that I was comfortable in the decisions being made. Jack took me through the systems and brands available, explaining the pros and cons of each and before settling on a concept I was happy with. The installation was ready to implement within weeks.
During the next phase Summit + Shore demonstrated an excessive degree of patience with me as a separate project to install skylights in my roof delayed the installation of the solar system. Summit + Shore were ready to go within weeks of locking in the plan, however I had to constantly postpone the initiation due to the delays with the other project. Jack was entirely understanding of the situation and when the time was finally ready the installation date was locked in promptly.
I was shocked by the large crew (6-8 people) that came to my house to install 33 x solar panels, inverter, battery, EV charger point and all the corresponding wiring. This large crew meant that everything was completed and operational by the end of the day with their head foreman constantly linking in with me. I did have the associated plumber arrive the next day to install the heat pump due to a scheduling conflict, but had they been available the original day everything could have completed in one day. Once their work had been complete the personnel cleaned up after themselves to the point it was like they were never there.
Now I sit in my home, completely self-sufficient in my power generation/consumption. Summit + Shore liaised with our service provider to arrange for the Smart Meter installation so we can earn what we feed back into the grid.
From commencement to completion Summit + Shore were brilliant. I would highly recommend them to anyone who, like me, might be a little apprehensive or daunted by the concept of getting a renewable energy system for your home. They were diligent, professional, patient and meticulous. Thank you Summit + Shore for your services.

Great installation and customer service excellent
Summit and Shore Energy were excellent to deal with. We had been looking for someone who would listen to what we wanted and come up with a system that met our requirements. Many others tried to get us to install systems that were simply way to big for our needs. The installation team was excellent and the customer service was fantastic. Great Team, Terrific System
Their sales rep explained all the jargon, gave us options and was very accommodating to our ideas for a solar and battery system to future proof our house. He helped us customize the final configuration and the process was smooth.The electricians turned up with their well honed installation team. They were punctual, polite and pleasant to have around for the entire time. They were efficient on the job and motivated to get things done.
We also had a gas cooktop converted to induction for which they managed to install a new circuit around all the hidden edges and corners in the house and a new oven was connected at the same time. These are now working a treat.
They are nice guys to deal with and did a terrific install.

Wonderful experience from helpful professional business
It is my pleasure to review SUMMIT+SHORE who recently installed solar panels and a battery on our house.I spoke to Luke first. He explained the process clearly, patiently and calmly. He was very informative and it was a pleasure speaking with him. We received a detailed written quote.
Once we accepted the quote, we had a site visit by Steve who was also calm, informative and pleasant.
Ben led the team doing the installation along with Tom and Halawan. All three were cheerful, pleasant, tidy and a pleasure to deal with. The installation went well. I had the app running before they left and could see what was happening with the solar panels and battery.
Then there was a problem later that evening. Sone of our electric lights and power points stopped working. As I understand it, there was a problem with the interface between the new switch board which was modern and more demanding and old substandard wiring in our house.
It is when there are problems that you see the calibre of the people you are working with. I rang Luke in the early evening, and he asked questions to ascertain the extent of the problem. Ben then came back and worked on the problem in the evening. He improved things but there were still some issues. Together we worked out how we could stay safely in the house overnight. All the time Ben was his usual cheerful, kind, pleasant self.
The next day early Ben and Steve were back to work on the problem some more. Again, things improved but there remained an issue with one light and light switch.
There was another visit to replace the light fitting and fan which seemed to be the problem. When that didn’t fix the problem there was another visit by Ben and Tom to deal with the faulty wiring in the light switch. Once they did this, there were no more problems with our electrics. Hurrah. The solar panels and battery worked throughout them fixing of the wiring.
Every interaction with staff at this business was professional, pleasant and positive. We felt appreciated, valued and in very safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble for the people I dealt with.
SUMMIT+SHORE did not charge for all this additional work. We were prepared to pay but they said it was part of the job. I cannot speak too highly about this experience. I recommend the business to others.

Excellent experience with Summit + Shore Energy - full electrification home installation
Knowing little about all things solar and electrification, we reached out to six companies for advice on an all-inclusive home electrification installation, having used Solarquotes as a guide to finding the companies. Summit + Shore Energy was one of the companies we reached out to for advice and a quote. From start to finish with the quote, installation and after-sales service, we had one contact point (Business Development Manager - BDM) from Summit + Shore. Having one consistent contact point during this time really made a massive difference to our customer experience. The BDM visited our home (which some other companies did not do), and patiently answered our questions and provided more detailed information relating to the electrification concepts and component details. We greatly appreciated his attendance at our home, and it quickly built trust and confidence, in Summit + Shore's ability, to provide an installation that was built on quality components, workmanship, and ongoing support.Following the site visit and quotation, the BDM was always available to answer further questions and provide more detail, which we greatly appreciated. Without doubt, his professionalism and ability to build a trusted and productive relationship with a potential customer was the reason we chose Summit + Shore for our household installation.
The installation took place over 2 days in late July 2026. We were very impressed with the friendly and professional staff who undertook the installation. They were always on-time, explained what was happening, consulted with us when needed, and completed a very professional and high-quality installation.
Post installation, the level of service has continued to be exemplary, with the BDM always available to fine tune the home installation, and for further advice and support, in naviating the complex and dynamic energy provider environment.

Excellent installers
The Summit and Shore team were excellent. The quote process was easy and smooth - I had a very long list of questions and they were patient in answering all of them. I found their quote to be very competitive, and their design of my panel arrays showed they had considered my roof individually, rather than just working off Google satellite images.The installation itself went smoothly (although they said it would take one day, it did end up taking two days). The team were all polite, punctual, and left the site clean. They ran me through the various elements once all done, but the app makes it super easy as well. For such a big investment, I feel like the team made it as easy as possible for me.

I recently had a solar and battery system installed by Summit+Shore, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the initial consultation with Jack through to the final installation, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with.I entered the Solar market with little to no knowledge and Jack took the time to explain the system options, answered all my questions (and I had quite a few!), and provided honest advice tailored to my needs. Jack clearly outlined all relevant rebates I was able to claim along with the various HEUF and the ACT SHS loan details, handled all the applications for these, making the administrative side a breeze.
During the consultation process we had semi locked down a system with ESY products, but Jack was quick to provide an alternative system after Sigenergy released a new battery stack and updated pricing on their products. This gave me competitive options in terms of price points and premium products. I went with the Sigenergy system!
The installation crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and completed the job to a very high standard. Steve walked me through the installation process, and everything was left neat and tidy. They ensured I understood how to monitor and get the most out of my new solar and battery system before they left.
I’m already seeing the benefits and have peace of mind knowing the system was installed by a team that genuinely cares about quality and customer satisfaction.

From inquiry to completion the whole team at Summit + Shore were so friendly and helpful. I asked many questions which were always met with knowledgeable and patient answers. Summit & Shore - an installation well done
I experienced a painless and informative quoting process. Daniel was my single point of contact throughout the process. After several discussions, updates and my numerous follow up questions, I was provided an initial quote with two options for a Sigenergy stack with Gateway and Aiko pv panels. The chosen option was further modified so that it captured my existing usage plus anticipated increased usage over winter plus future proofing, and full house backup.There was a hiccup in supply of the quoted panels, which resulted in a delayed start on installation day 1. Summit & Shore resolved the issue in my favour with an upgrade for which I am highly appreciative. The installation team was friendly and easy to get along with. They didn't mind me asking questions nor seeking clarifications. Day one ended with the battery stack and gateway installed and the battery being charged by my existing pv system that was AC coupled through the Smart Port in the gateway. The electrical team left their work areas cleaned before departing.
A second team arrived on Installation Day 2 to install the pv panels. They were quite methodical. By the end of the day, the panels were DC coupled to the battery. The electrical team provided a run through of the system and the function of the various sets of switches. On Day 3, the whole system was checked for compliance with the installation standard and tested as being fully operational. The paper work and certifications were completed.
Customer service was excellent thoughout. Post installation discussion and explanation of the various features of the Sigen app ensued. Overall, I was guided and I felt supported such that I did not feel overwhelmed at any stage.

Extremely Happy
We feel very lucky that our neighbor had Summit & Shore do an upgrade for her home solar. She was very happy with the process & recommended them to us. We met the owner that day & followed up with a quote & a personal inspection .They were very flexible & met our requirements for an appropriate installation date.
When we signed up the process went very smoothly with frequent friendly phone calls & equally friendly & professional installation. We can’t fault the company, the electricians or the installation.
They were all invariably polite, reliable, tidy, punctual & kept us informed of every step.
Despite our shade cover we have great solar production & are extremely happy with the whole experience with Summit & Shore.

6.6kw panels, 24kw battery - 3Ph conversion & Shelly automation
Excellent all-round experience with the team at S+S. Price was competitive and everything went about as smooth as it could have for a Solar Battery install with the added complexity of existing panels, a 3ph conversion and a Shelly device for home automation of inslab heating.Sales team were great communicators and technical which helped defining the system design. On site team were good at communicating power-outs or raising decision points/issues and install was incredibly neat, including decomm of the old inverter.
Would recommend to anyone around ACT looking to add a battery/solar system to their home

Incredible final product (and customer service to match)
My experience with Summit + Shore was 10/10 from the very start. I organised five quotes which all came back at roughly the same price, but our decision to go with the Summit + Shore team was their clear attention to detail. Danny went out of his way to answer all my (painful) questions and always made me feel like I had his undivided attention; he was also the most approachable, upfront, responsive, and transparent of any sales rep we spoke with, and clearly wanted us to select the right system for our needs. We couldn't have asked for a better install: the company comms were great, everyone on the team was incredibly friendly, and the quality of work was amazing. After the install I asked if a section of rail could be removed from the roof (an aesthetic choice) there was no hesitation from the team; they came back a week later and happily removed the rail at no extra cost. To use a superlative, Summit + Shore has delivered the best customer experience I've ever received.Thank you Steve, Danny, Lewis, Ben, Blake, and Anni, I'll be recommending you to friends and family without hesitation!

Installation of panels and battery
Jack and all staff were very easy to deal with, from the initial enquiry and installation plan, which we did together, to the site visit to view the roof and meter board.Stephen and Pat were very professional in their approach, and answered all questions promptly and in easy to understand terms. The initial planned date, and the actual date of installation, were easy to accommodate for us and the installers.
Following installation, Pat and Stephen were very helpful in getting the ESY app on both my phone and the desktop computer. We love being able to see where the power is going at any time, and the battery usage screen is a big help. We are looking forward to being able to use the aircon, washing machine, dishwasher etc at any time of day or night. The 10.2 kw of panels and the 30 Kw battery are able to handle all the household demands at any time. We are vey happy with both the initial planning, installation and follow up from Summit and Shore.

Exceptional work, masterful and experienced.
Daniel reached out to me initially and helped design a system based off what I was trying to achieve; I think I changed the plan at least 5-8 times. He was patient, talked realistically and honestly and was willing to look at any wild ideas I had - even explaining to me how some of the setups I was looking at might not give me the return I'm looking for and recommended the right setup for my needs. This was despite some of those ideas having the potential to earn them more profit with a greater sale. He was always available and explained things clearly and simply. They were able to get the max benefit from both the federal rebate and the ACT Sustainable Household Scheme, and handled everything on their end without issue.Steve (the director) attended prior to install and gave the exact same experience, we talked about positioning and positives and negatives of my plan, and what they would need to do to also future-proof my electrics and save me money in the long-term. I wanted full back-up protection which would need an upgrade of my electricity box, and the price was very reasonable. The cable positioning was agreed-to, even though a little more inconvenient to them.
On install day it went smoothly and the power was off for only around 2 hours, as they were adding onto and upgrading an existing system. They broke a couple of roof tiles but patched them up and replaced them a few days later at no cost to me. The battery was fully charged that day by sunset and I've been exporting since.
The following day the kitchen lost power and Daniel answered the phone at 9am on a Saturday (while at home) to help me rectify the issue quickly and back on track. It was the dishwasher's fault and the new RCBOs they installed were a lot more sensitive to my older appliances.
Overall I can't recommend this company high enough! They are smaller than the more established players but as such you get much more personal service. It also means you get installed earlier. The larger installers couldn't install until April.
I ended up getting 20 AIKO panels @ 9.5kW added onto the existing 10 panels @ 2.8kW, feeding into a SigEnergy 10kW inverter and 32kW SigEnergy battery. This is in addition to a separate existing 8-panel 1.52kW array gross-fed system which wasn't touched, and a full upgrade of my electricity box.
It looks amazing! I especially like playing with the light designs on the battery, and I've already started maximising my savings and return using Amber Energy.
Thanks Steve, Daniel, Pat, Adam and the team for doing a fantastic job. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and genuinely cared for that which I deemed important.

Very good to deal with, install staff were courteous, polite and answered all questions asked.
The quote was easy to understand, and all details were explained. The grid layout on the roof was done between Jack and myself, all online with Maps etc.The installation went smoothly, and efficiently, and was done with our living quietly considered at all times.
The customer service on all levels was very good, from the quote process to the pricing and with an explanation provided of all aspects of the job from start to finish.
I was provided with all the necessary info needed to monitor the system, as well as the apps to show the generation and distribution of power to battery, home, or grid.

Professional installer
The sales and quoting process was excellent with great communication and information by phone and email. All installers were punctual and communicated their movements. They explained the procedure and what I needed to know about the way everything was set up snd what I needed to do. They cleaned up their mess and also removed pipes that were not their job to do. They made sure wires etc were covered safely.They showed me how to use everything and how to use the app. They also have encouraged me to contact them if I need further help.

Great value and service- highly reccommended
I've wanted a solar battery for some time but didn't know how to go about it, or what I needed to do to get the government rebate. I sent an enquiry to the Summit and Shore team on their website and they got it touch to get some more details about my usage and current solar panel set up. They also came to do a site visit and made sure I understood the process, understood where it would be installed and what I could expect post installation.With that information they created a proposal with two options outlined in detail, including projections of the cost savings over a 20 year period. It was incredibly helpful to see the options side by side and then also be called by one of the team who walked me through the pros and cons and helped me make a decision based on the features and price I was happy with. They also provided me with several financing options and answered my questions about the conditions and costs associated with these.
The team reached out to me to set up an install day that suited me and confirmed beforehand. They arrived on time and worked efficiently to get the job done in good time. Even when there were some very tight corners in my house to run cabling through they made sure it was done properly, even installing an additional access point in my garage which wasn't initially part of the plan! When they left my garage and garden was cleaner than before they came!
They checked in with me during the install, including giving me lots of notice for when the power would be off and getting it back on much quicker than I had expected. They showed me what had been done for the install, helped me to set up the app for tracking the power usage and generation on my phone and walked me through how to disconnect it in case of an emergency. They even provided remote oversight following the install to ensure the everything was working as it should.
At all times throughout the process the whole team was professional, polite and clearly well informed. They patiently answered all my many questions and explained everything in terminology I could understand. They handled all the paperwork including applications, rebate and financing for me so it felt easy. The only paperwork I had to spend time on was actually applying for the finance, which is to be expected. Even then, they set it up so the rest of the process was sorted.
I'm absolutely thrilled with my battery, it's incredibly satisfying to see how much energy I'm saving on my app. I'm even more thrilled at what great value it worked out to be with the team helping to get the best out of the government rebate and giving me an amazing value deal on top of that.
I highly recommend Summit and Shore Energy, I would use them again without a moment's hesitation.

Install of battery and solar as well EV charger quote and install.
Summit and Shore were the installers for our 24kw battery, additional solar 9kw and separately our ev charger. They were professional and timely in both installs and cleaned the area after each install. They provided the connection to the grid and showed how everything worked. They even contacted later to be sure everything was still working.Panel rating: 4/5
