We are extremely happy with the whole experience from start to finish. The installation team was professional, friendly, and efficient.
We recently had our solar batteries installed, and we are extremely happy with the whole experience from start to finish.The installation team was professional, friendly, and efficient. They arrived on time, explained the process clearly, and made sure everything was installed properly and neatly. They were also happy to answer our questions and took the time to explain how the battery system works and how to monitor it.
The quality of the installation was excellent, and everything was left clean and tidy afterwards. It was great to see a team that takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about doing a good job.
Overall, we are very happy with our new solar battery system and the service we received. The entire process, from organising the installation through to having the batteries up and running, was smooth and hassle-free.
Highly recommended to anyone considering installing a solar battery system. Thank you to the whole team for the excellent service!

Great Product and Service
I was very pleased with the customer service from the initial contact, explaining how it all works and the expected timeframe to install of battery and the post install follow up. The installation was seamless the guys were great and left everything neat and tidy. Great value battery solution, so far it’s been up and running for a week and we’ve used only 1kwH of grid power over the whole week. The Neovolt 28.8KwH battery with 5KwH inverter we had installed is paired to an existing relatively small 4.4kw solar system (5 years old) and family of 3 to give you an idea. Good installer, even for slightly more complicated stuff
Quote was direct and easy to work with.We have a split sub board which means the first installation call couldn't take place. Worked with Voltex to find a solution. Implemented and they sent out their more sophisticated electricians to wire up the extra cabling.
They stuck with it, allowed us to solve for the local complications and came back when things didn't go to plan.

From the start easy initial contact and install scheduled. Great customer service and the installers where fantastic. Ran me through app and tested backup and all parts of system functioning.Had an existing 10kw solar and added the AC coupled battery system. Huge reduction in energy consumption and battery always charges back to 100% on sunny days, self-consumption and rest goes back into grid.
Could not be happier, thanks again to everyone at Voltx. Great work!

Solar Battery
We added solar batteries from VoltX Energy (28Kw) to our existing solar panels. The price was great, the installation was done on time and in one day and monitoring app works well. I would recommend VoltX Energy for your battery needs.31 August 2026
Easy, quick, transparent in quotes, product suggestion, site assessment, installation and finance arrangement.
Recently I have got the 6.7 kw Solar panels and 28.8kwh with 5kv inverter package installed from Neovolt, Voltx Energy. Their pricing was transparent and no hidden charges. It took just a week to get a quote and get the installation done at my place with proper certificate of compliance. Janine from Voltx finance team was quite helpful in arranging for 0% interest free NSW Home energy saver Loan process. Based on that I approached solar suppliers and vendors for quote. I have lodged application with Brighte and it got approved within a day as my case falls under the eligibility criteria and met all the conditions such as Battery brand should be eligible for rebate, Vendor should be accredited installer and supplier. All happened within 2 to 3 weeks time and hassle free. I have signed up VPP scheme. Thanks to Neovolt Installation, onboarding, sales, tech teams. They all worked together to understand the customer requirement and suggested the recommended product solution with appropriate pricing.Panel rating: 4/5

Quick installation, performing well with good support
The quote process was simple. One call and an online form.Installation went really well. Installers were punctual, worked constantly to complete the job by afternoon. After completing they cleaned up well and gave me a demo of the system including setup of the app and the backup power.
Customer service was great. Followed up to make sure that everything was working properly.

Ongoing inverter issue still not fixed months after installation
I had a system installed by VoltX Energy in January 2026. On the day of installation I pointed out to the installers that the wrong inverter(regular instead of hybrid) had been installed and that the automatic switchover functionality specified in my contract was missing.The next day I followed up in writing to confirm the issue and have been in contact multiple times over the following months by email. Despite this, no one has been sent to rectify the problem and my system still does not match what I signed for. I have been told several times that my case is a priority, but there has been no on?site action.
The installation itself was neat enough, but the failure to correct a known error and the lack of effective after?sales support has been very disappointing. Based on my experience with how this issue has been handled, I cannot recommend VoltX Energy.

System installed June 2026. Still not working as sold. August 2026.
Purchased VoltX's 10kW inverter and 25kWh battery system in June 2026. Since commissioning the system has never operated at its contracted 10kW capacity - maximum observed output is approximately 6.7kW, 67% of what was sold.Over 8 weeks of emails between VoltX and Solplanet and four repair attempts in eight weeks: three site visits and one remote firmware update applied without my authorisation. All failed.
VoltX confirmed in writing:
-The firmware required for 10kW operation does not currently exist and has no release timeline -Customers at the time of my purchase were not informed of this limitation - described by VoltX as a "material gap in our disclosure process" - VoltX have said there is likely other units out there with the same issue.
-The system was marketed as VPP capable - confirmed by my energy retailer that they don't support this hardware for VPP enrolment. VoltX have also confirmed via email.
- VoltX website currently shows their single-phase 10kw inverter product line as out of stock. Interesting.
Formal complaints are active with NSW Fair Trading, Building Commission NSW, the Clean Energy Council, and the NETCC.
This is not a commissioning hiccup - this is a product sold without the software to make it work, to an unknown number of Australian customers who may not realise their system is underperforming.

The Voltx team were very efficient. It was only a matter of a week after excepting their very economical quote that the solar battery was installed. The sales representative was very helpful and answered all my questions initially, which prompted me to use VoltX. They under promised and over delivered as I was told installation could be 2 to 3 weeks. I paid my deposit on a Thursday and the installation was the following Tuesday! Smooth process and great result
This was fitting a battery to an existing 5kw single phase solar panel system. VoltX provided a 25kw battery, a 5kw inverter for it, and all of the installation work.I found the process to be smooth. They arrived, got stuck into it, tested it, and talked me through the system. It works really well. I had no idea how little I had been self consuming solar until I saw the results from this. My grid usage has fallen to about a fifth of what it was. And this is in winter. It is likely to fall to zero for the other 3 seasons. Really nice indeed.

Excellent installation, quick turnaround — 40kWh system, Sydney
We had a VoltX Energy 40.96kWh battery (SolPlanet APH5.0-S8) with a 10kW three-phase hybrid inverter installed at our home in Sydney's Upper North Shore in July 2026.The installation itself was the standout. The electrician worked efficiently and the finish is genuinely tidy — neat cabling and a clean, well-presented job. Compliance paperwork (CCEW) came through promptly, and the system was commissioned and running the same day.
Scheduling was the other highlight. The whole process moved quickly and we didn't have to wait long at all between signing and installation, which we'd been half expecting given how these things often go. Communication in the lead-up was prompt and we always knew where things stood.
Early days yet, but we're already seeing a clear drop in grid consumption. Happy to recommend based on our experience.
