Outstanding Service and Professional Solar Battery Installation. Highly Recommend DSW Energy

Absolutely outstanding experience with DSW Energy from start to finish. The entire team was extremely understanding of my requirements and took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted to achieve. Their sales team provided excellent guidance around the technical requirements and delivered a very competitive solution without any pressure.

With the rush leading into 1st May, I expected scheduling to be difficult, but they honoured their promise and secured my installation within the timeframe discussed. The install team were highly competent, professional, efficient, and left the area spotless and tidy afterwards which was a very pleasant surprise given they are electricians lol!

Another stand out was the post-installation follow-up and ongoing support, showing that customer service doesn’t stop once the job is done. Everything has been handled professionally and with genuine care.

I could not recommend DSW Energy more highly. If you’re considering solar or battery installation, these are the people to call.

Great company to deal with.

Very easy to quote and at a great price. Super quick install, the team smashed it out in 4hrs.
Small issue with reading incorrectly afterwards but they sent someone straight out and fixed it next day.

Fantastic service from the start.

Jarrod was great to work with on the quote providing many different options and updates as I asked for changes to the proposal. Installation was very well handled, the team were efficient, kept me informed what was happening and left the place very tidy.

Reliability is key

First call to installation - a seamles experience

We had solar/battery installed by Direct Solar Wholesalers (DSW) in April 2026. From the original contact to provide a quote, through to installation our initial point of contact with DSW, Jordan, was a trusted contact for any of our queries. We had many questions in the early days to ensure the solution was right for us, no question was too silly to answer.

When product companies and installers needed to be chosen and then changed, we felt we could trust Jordan’s judgement in the choices made. When additional carpentry work was needed for raked ceilings, he found a solution and checked the work. We are happy with the installation and the way the system was installed. The installation team was efficient, tidy and thorough, completing a large job within the time allocated. Jordan following up on and day of install and even after install to ensure we were happy. It's been a much simpler and less challenging experience than we ever expected.

Fast, reliable solar installation with excellent support & clean finish

Recently had solar and battery installed in February.

They were quick to fit me in and were very helpful, took care of the whole rebate process. They were also fast and responsive to all questions. Pricing was very reasonable — not suspiciously cheap, but not overpriced either, giving confidence in the quality of the work delivered.

Installation was smooth, and the team was professional throughout. They also modified the panel layout to combine sections and made the overall setup look much neater and more visually appealing.

Staff were helpful in guiding me through the app and made sure I was comfortable using everything before leaving.

Reliable and helpful service from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Initial consultation was with Steve who designed a system that was perfect for our needs. The install team were from DSW and local, they were efficient and explained everything well with neat install of battery and solar. No more bills

From quotation to installation DSW were very good with the process. Rob had heaps of information and gave a lot of info on different brand options and size options. We went with Solax and no complaints at all with the performance or the app interface which is very good compared to one I had before (sungrow)

Amazing installer, clean installation.

Quote was quick and simple. Got them to install my solar panels 2 years ago and now added a battery. Installers came on time and was very polite. They cleaned up everything. I logged in to the app and straight away can see how it all saves me from paying energy bills. After the installation, i got emails checking up if everything was good and I need help understanding the app.

They also helped me remove the old inverter as I replaced it with a hybrid inverter instead. This was a personal choice as I didnt want to have 2 inverters.

Unreal experience with DSW Energy, highly recommended

The sales process was top notch. I had come into the process having done my own research but Neil was a champion and explained everything to me and we adjusted the system to suit my particular needs. I didn’t feel rushed at all, and Neil was very accomodating to all my questions including hour long phone calls to go through all the details.

The installation team were a ripper crew, they took their time and made sure to accommodate my needs on the day. Any adjustments to the original plan were made known to me in advance so we could decide in person.

Overall was a great experience and I recommend DSW Energy for your solar and battery needs.

Very professional installer

The salesperson who came out was fantastic. He knew the product inside and out, explained everything clearly, and matched us with the best system for our needs. The quote was detailed, easy to understand, and covered everything thoroughly.

Installation day was seamless. The team arrived on time, walked us through what would happen step by step, and carried everything out professionally. Once the installation was complete, they took the time to show me how the system works and how to use the app to control it. The install itself was very neat and tidy—really impressive workmanship.

The next day, I received a follow-up call to make sure everything went smoothly and to check that I understood how to use the system. They also encouraged me to reach out anytime if I needed help.

The sales and quoting process was excellent — fast, clear, and straightforward. Everything was explained well and the quote came through quickly with no confusion.

The installation went very smoothly. The team was very professional, polite, and punctual. They kept everything tidy while working and cleaned up properly afterwards. I asked them several questions about the system during the installation, and they were happy to explain everything in detail.

Customer service was excellent. They organised all the paperwork with SA Power Networks and made the whole process very easy. After the installation, the installer took the time to show me how the system works and clearly explained which circuit breakers control different parts of the system.

Overall, a bloody good experience. Great service from start to finish and I am very happy with the installation.

All good

The salesman Neil was very good at getting the information from me that was required to complete the sale, DSW were not the cheapest but I felt Neil asked the right questions. Ongoing communications was not that great as he did not seem to have a direct link to someone. But got there in the end. Installation was painless the crew were helpful at explaining the system.

We had a FoxESS KH10 inverter and 29.9kwh FoxESS CQ-6 battery installed by DSW Energy and very happy with the install.

The whole process was pretty easy from original enquiry through the quoting and alteration to quote then the install and commissioning of the system.
The installers cleaned up everything and explained how it works, how to shut down & startup, how the backup circuits work.
It was installed on 10/3/26 and I have not used any grid power so far (12/3/26).
I am a happy chappy!!!

Very happy with system and installer

The quoting process was easy and clear and they were very responsive to our queries. The quoted price was very reasonable. There were a couple of short delays with the installation but once it got locked in and underway it was very efficient and tidy. The installers were very polite and helpful answering clearly all of our questions. They cleaned up all the bits of rubbish and boxes etc and left the place tidy. The follow-up service and advice was responsive and very useful in helping us understand how best to optimise our battery/PV/grid setup.

Great price and a good range of batteries

I got many quotes in my solar and battery installation process, and DSW came in with a very good price on a very new but high quality battery system in the GoodWe ESA. The salesperson, Jordan, was very upfront and open, which I appreciated. They don't try to force you into one specific system, although it's clear that they prefer to sell SolaX.

The installation had good and bad things. First, they were ready to install much quicker than other installers. Unfortunately when the day came, I received no communication for hours and it turns out the battery had been damaged and couldn't be installed. The customer service was subsequently good and it was installed a few days later.

They do use subcontractors, which you are told to avoid like the plague, but these guys were good. They even provided ongoing support when there was an issue with the wifi module and some of the configuration. This was all GoodWe's fault for a flaky component and confusing account system, but they did provide extensive phone support.

Overall I think I made the right choice going with DSW for the price they offered.

I love my system that DSW Energy installed!

Sooo Good! I’m sooo happy!

So I spent a long time getting quotes and understanding the various products and exactly what I wanted, my usage and long-term planning and with that John from DSW Energy was competitive but also generous with his time to help me understand the variances in the products and the reasons why he suggested the system that ultimately I got installed.

I already had a previous system and I was able to recycle some of that system but DSW Install Team was also able to work with me to remove my existing panels, give me time for a full roof restoration (I did this with a separate company of course) and then come back and recycle my old panels and do the full installation of extra panels, inverter, batteries and gateway, at what I thought was really fair and considerate pricing.

The communication on confirming times and dates, SMS, phone calls and emails for quotes and install information for me when literally over six months because, I must’ve got quotes from 10 different companies and looked at a wide range of product and terms and conditions and ultimately DWS Energy was the best I could find.

The install team were excellent. One of my biggest groups for trade people is often that don’t turn up on time or the day they’re gonna come and then often leave a great big mess and they don’t explain anything. Well my team was the opposite, they came exactly when they said they’re gonna come, they explained everything as they went and answered any questions I had and they left my place really neat and tidy with a really good quality finish. And to me that was the area that I couldn’t control and therefore was the greatest risk and these guys hit the ball out of the park, they delivered on what they said they were gonna deliver and I’m truly stoked with my product and my system and even the after-care calls and checking to make sure everything is good and everything’s running properly and then I’m happy.

So I’m super grateful to DSW Energy and all the team for their service and I highly recommend them as a provide of excellent quality components and a fantastic quality installation. From the bottom of my heart thanks team, I am super grateful for a really solid piece of infrastructure that’s gonna serve my family for decades to come. Thank you.

Responsive and professional

Jack was really responsive and knowledgeable in solar & battery industry. The installation was done within a month after quote was accepted. There was small hiccup on the inverter initially but DSW Energy was keen to follow up with the manufacturer to have problem resolved. Very happy with the customer service and will use them again for future upgrade!

Professional, Australian and priced fairly

They were competitively priced, finding ways to accommodate my budget whilst ensuring I get the capacity I need. Purchase to install was 1.5 months and that was because I pushed the date out.
They arrived on time, had the job done withing 6 hours.

I got 32kw solar with 10kw hybrid inverter and 32kwh battery. Very happy with the product and install.

Installation well done.

Our old heater stopped working and we were interested in replacing our old PV’s with a new system including battery. Mike contacted us soon after and came up to St Agnes to sit down with us and discuss our needs. Mike provided us with a great presentation which we could understand and from there received a number of options with costings. We acted on one option and made arrangements for installation. The installation went very well and was completed within a day and we were then on full solar power. We had a lot to learn and DSW answered our phone calls and emails providing us with the information we required help us to apply for the state government battery rebate plus other operational information.
We have since recommended DSW to family and friends and will continue to do so. As seniors it’s important that warranties are honoured and DSW were able to offer us full support for the lifetime of the warranties on our present system.

We are already saving money!

We engaged Direct Solar Wholesaler Energy Group for installation of a home battery to complement our existing home solar. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish - the initial installation date was 4-6 weeks, but due to availability in the installers schedule, our installation was complete in less than two weeks. Since the battery has been installed, we haven't drawn electricity from the grid at all. This proves that the system that was recommended to us, based on our existing energy usage patterns, is what we needed. We are very happy with the product, price and customer service. Highly recommended.

Amazing company from start to finish

I had a chap called Neil figure out what I needed for my home and his advice was amazing and as I had no clue what my usage was at the new property he made everything very easy and guided me throughout the whole process. I had a timing constraint and they managed the install within a couple of weeks. The installers were very good and did all the work very clean and left their details in case we had any issues and showed me how to use the app and what to look out for. Fantastic, responsive, great sale, support staff!

Sales/Quoting:
The quoting process involves checking my previous bills and making sure they size the panels with battery. They do this inline with my usage, and they do a plan on cost vs savings over the seasons and years. They are meticulous with the proposal and seek to make sure I fully understand it. They show me how long it would take to cover the costs and rebates involved. They aren't trying to sell a system quickly without it being the "right" size & fit for purpose.
Neil listened to my needs and gathered information on my existing system. Our conversation happened over a few days. There was no sales push or rush to sign. From this, we decided to go with DSW.
Based on DSW advice, we got Longi panels, a Solax Inverter, and a battery system.
Installation:
Installation took 2 days, during which the old inverters and panels were removed, and the new system was installed. I have 3-phase system with AC, pool pump,EV, etc. After installation, they cleaned up.
They showed me the Solax app, tested the outage systems and took care of rebates and electricity providers.

Customer Support/Service:
After a few weeks, I noticed that I was getting charged for grid imports. DSW was quick to come and check installation. Jack was then diligent and approachable in getting it resolved. They moved CT clamps from my internal switch to the street mainboards to cover unaccounted electricity usage. They came out a few times over a few weeks to make changes and rectify. I am super happy with the way they went out of their way to make sure the install was correct, and the customer was happy.

Solax:
They have close contacts with Solax, and a Solax engineer came out to check my system. They checked my wifi dongle range and stability and installed another set of antennas.

Conclusion:
I can't fault these guys; even when the install was not right and somewhat frustrating. Their attitude is to work to resolve the issues.
If you want an installer who will be there when issues happen, call DSW. If you want cheap, nasty and no support after the sale; there are many cheaper installers. I prefer knowledgeable and quality DSW. These guys are in it for the long haul.

Responsive and Relative Good Value.

Very informed and engaged salesperson. Early days, but the system is living well up to expectation. Was able to get my battery in earlier after cancellation from another customer. They also discovered and fixed a problem with the original solar install from another provider. Installers took the time to walk me through everything at the end of the install. Happy so far.
