We’re launching our 2026 state installer awards in South Australia, where there’s a new number one in SolarQuotes’ annual rankings, knocking last year’s winner off the top spot.
Here are the three installers SA customers rated highest in 2026.
The winners were determined using a weighted calculation of customer reviews published on the SolarQuotes website. This gives smaller companies with fewer reviews a fair chance against their bigger rivals.
All South Australian installer listings are included, not just companies in the SolarQuotes installer network.
First Place – DSW Energy
DSW Energy has been supplying and installing solar and battery systems for residential and commercial customers since 2015. The company also installs EV chargers and heat pump hot water systems.
It’s not the first time DSW has appeared near the top of our rankings. It finished second in our Adelaide installer rankings in 2023, but this is its first South Australian title.
SolarQuotes asked DSW Energy’s Jack Young what he thought pushed the company over the line this year. He puts it down to a consistent focus on the customer.
“What sets us apart is that we don’t simply sell solar and batteries—we take the time to understand each customer’s energy needs, design the right solution, deliver quality installations, and provide genuine after-sales support. Our philosophy has always been Customer First, People Second, Company Third.”
The customer reviews suggest there’s something to that.
Jason, who had a solar and battery system installed, said he researched extensively and obtained several quotes before choosing DSW. What stood out was Jack’s approach to sizing the system:
“He wasn’t focused on selling the most expensive system. Instead, he carefully analysed my electricity usage and recommended a solution that suited my household perfectly.”
Jason was equally impressed after the installation, saying the cabling was clean, the equipment professionally installed, and the system had turned quarterly electricity bills into credits. He also had praise for the follow-up:
“Jack has always been available whenever I had questions, and the support after installation has been just as good as it was before the sale.”
Ed also singled out the support he received after his battery was installed, particularly while learning how to use it with his electricity retailer:
“DSW have just been so helpful in setting things up afterwards. This has taken much out of the stress of dealing with the provider.”
And for Maria, it was the whole process that stood out:
“The quoting process was clear and transparent, communication was excellent, and the team kept us informed every step of the way. The installers arrived on time, did a neat and professional job, and cleaned up before they left.”

Second Place – Goliath Solar & Electrical
Last year’s South Australian winner, Goliath Solar & Electrical, takes second place in 2026.
Founded by electrician David Stevens in 2012, Goliath installs solar, batteries and EV chargers across South Australia. The company says it uses its own electricians rather than subcontracting installation crews and conducts pre-installation site visits to help tailor systems to individual properties.
There’s a strong thread of repeat business in Goliath’s recent reviews. One customer came back for a battery six years after Goliath installed their solar, while another chose the company again for a second property seven years after their first installation.

Third Place – Adam Solar
Third place goes to Adam Solar, an Australian-owned Adelaide company that installs residential and commercial solar and battery systems.
Adam Solar is another familiar face in these rankings. It took first place in our Adelaide installer rankings in both 2023 and 2024.
The company says its emphasis is on building an ongoing relationship with customers rather than treating each installation as a transaction. Recent reviews highlight communication, system advice, and after-sales support, with customers mentioning founder Adam Karroum personally checking in during the process.
