19kw Alko solar & 48kW Sigenergy Battery

Adam was super responsive when quoting and even took calls and sent emails on his weekend away in Sydney. Although there were a number of challenges with the installation, I was very happy with the end result. Adam was on top of everything and when things were not to my expectations, he rectified them and constantly checked in to see if it was to my satisfaction. I went with Adam solar as they looked to be reputable with a high focus on customer service. They are definitely that and if that is important to you, go with Adam. Pre and post installation, Esther has been very responsive in all interactions and follows up everything with phone calls and emails. I would highly recommend.

Exceptional service

We had used Adam Solar to install our Solar panels around 7 years ago. We were really pleased with the knowledge and professionalism that they displayed.
So when we decided to have a battery installed we turned to Adam Solar again.
From the moment I spoke to Adam, I felt well informed about the batteries, he took the time to explain what kind of battery we needed and how many batteries, were required for what we needed. He also explained the blackout protection as well.
He took the time to explain all aspects of the batteries and the positioning of the inverter and batteries that were to be installed in our carport.
The price was a little higher than that of other providers, but we were confident that Adam Solar would provide the quality and workmanship that we required.
I was in the hospital when the batteries were installed and was informed by my son-in-law, that the installation and service displayed by all the installers was exceptional.
We would highly recommend Adam Solar and his team of experienced staff and installers.
If anyone is considering installing batteries or Solar panels you cannot go past using Adam Solar.
There after service is second to none. The team are still in touch with us making sure we are happy with our purchase and they are still answering any questions we might have and assisting us with any queries, concerning the installation and battery.
They organised everything for us, we didn't have to do anything.
They are a pleasure to deal with and are very honest and they care about their customers.

Customer focussed company

Very quick turnaround. A slick process executed via iPhones which allowed visibility of constraints. No pressure was applied to drive me to a particular manufacturer or product, rather options were supplied and advice provided based on the company’s experience and industry knowledge.
Installation - well disciplined, with the company having to cope with quite variable weather and an old ceiling/roof cavity. Workers were polite and fielded many questions willingly, even though they were pressed for time. All mess was removed expeditiously, and work commenced as scheduled. Workers stayed back late in the day to ensure the system was installed to meet my requirements.
Information required to organise grid connection was covered, and help provided to load the app/platform. Additional safety requirements with the main box were identified, which allowed me to get the work done on the day without doubling up. Backup systems were discussed and enacted. A tripped surge device was also detected with the device proactively replaced at my request. Charger/inverter/ battery operations were covered as well. Special thanks to both Adam and particularly Harley who managed the installation.

Reliable Service

I am a return customer with Adam solar. We installed a very large solar panel system with 20KW battery in 2021 and now we are putting on more battery (total cost of over 70K for entire set up) Both time, the quoting process is smooth, the communication is prompt, and the installation is fast. We had a few minor issue before with the battery or the monitor App, and those issues were quickly rectified after talked to them.

Outstanding service from Adam Solar

Quotation and purchase of my 48kWh Sigenergy battery was painless, with the representative Matt recommending I AC couple my small and aged existing solar panel inverter rather than DC couple it to avoid having to upgrade all my solar powered equipment.
As I wanted a 48kWh battery for VPP purposes, the existing max 3kWh solar losses was insignificant.

This saved me money on a solar upgrade and meant the installation process could be completed in a few weeks rather than months at the busiest time of year.
The installation itself was swift and neat and went without a hitch.

Regarding post-installation service, when I had an problem with loss of Mains power, Esther answered my out-of-hours call and with the help of electrician Josh talked me through diagnosing the fault as my 60 year old Mains isolator.

Apparently it had been weak for a long time, but the extra current from my 10kWh export finally cooked it.

Even though it wasn’t Adam Solar’s problem, Adam himself arranged Josh to come out that evening to make sure I had Grid connection to ensure I had power overnight.

My thanks especially to Emma for her outstanding service before, during and after the installation.

Adam Solar... You guys rock!

From start to finish, this was an outstanding experience. Even from my very first enquiry the team were approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful — never pushy, just focused on finding the right solution for us. I was nervous to be investing in a huge solar system and battery, so this is why I went for these guys as they are local to Adelaide.

Adam took the time to explain the options clearly, helped guide me through the process with patience and honesty and made what could have been a complicated process feel completely seamless. Communication was excellent throughout, and I always felt informed and supported - thank you also to Esther!

When installation day arrived, the installers were professional, tidy, punctual, and respectful and what really stood out was the follow-up afterwards. They stuck around to check in to make sure everything was working perfectly and that we were comfortable with the system and the app - Thanks Harley and team!

It’s rare to find a company that delivers this level of service from beginning to end. I couldn’t be happier with both the experience and the result and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering solar.

Outstanding Service

The sales and quote process utilized an online model that provided me as the customer with a very good understanding of what I was getting, how much it would produce and how much it was going to potentially earn (Payback) A faultless process.
The guys who did the installation were polite punctual and left the site will very little evidence that they had been there other than the final installation of solar panels and the battery.
The installer also connected the system to the grid, all he needed from me was the modem password and within minutes the whole system was connected,

Very Professional Service from quoting to installation

From the first contact with Adam Solar the communications was of a very high standard. Everything with the system we ultimately decided upon was clearly explained. Timelines for the project were very reasonable given we had elected for a battery and obviously all installers were extremely busy with the government battery offer on at the time. I canvassed with several other installers and found only Adam had satisfactory answers to all my questions. We have an older home with a steep roof and one other installer would not work on it. The team that did the install led by Harley were exceptionally skilled in their workmanship, very tidy leaving no rubbish or packaging. They even vacuumed up red brick dust from drilling into external walls. They organised the approval from SAPN for the Generation of the system. There was several days work and the install team were always punctual with the schedule provided by the Admin Team. Harley spent time explaining all facets of the system and connectivity via mobile phone.

Amazing from start to finish

From the outset Adam called me back for quote within a day. Talked through the install of a Tesla powerwall 3 and was also pleasantly surprised by the quote being cheaper than 3 other prominent installers.
Once confirmed I was promptly advised of potential install date within a month. Locked in and then the communication confirming install and timing of installers was on point.
Installers arrived on time and where diligent. They cleaned up after themselves and ensured the app set up was working before leaving. Couldn't fault the process!

Great solar system

The quoting provided by Adam of Adam solar was perfect and he took time to discuss the options in detail and put no pressure on me to decided my best option. Adam understood my need to have a system that would achieve a total off the grid system because of my daily high power usage. The grid approvals were all done by Adams team, customer assistance was first class.

Adams installation team arrived on time as it was a two day job to remove my old system and install the new system and batteries , their attention to detail was first class. The team installed the monitoring app on my phone and explained all the system details.

Professional service and product from start to finish

There's no one I'd trust more

I highly recommend Adam Solar. From the very first moment when they called me to find out what I needed, so that they could tailor my quote to my needs and explained things that I didn't know and hadn't even turned my mind to, I knew that they were a company that cared about their customers achieving long term satisfaction.

I obtained 4 quotes but Adam Solar was the most trustworthy. They only used high quality products - not just the panels and batteries but also the racks they use to affix the solar panels. They were also very reasonably priced.

Communication with all team members was excellent.

The installation team was outstanding. Greg, Josh and their plus 1 worked hard, problem solved and did not cut any corners - even though my house proved to be quite challenging and a different installer might have taken the easier route. They persevered to make sure they did a perfect job even though it ended up with them working well into the evening. They were polite and quiet and really cared about my house (they used a gutter guard so that their ladder wouldn’t mark our gutters!). They were so tidy you could not even tell that there had been a crew working at our house when they were done.

From everything I've seen, I think it's safe to say that I truly believe them when they say "we stand by the quality of our workmanship and were committed to delivering a perfect result, in line with our standards".

As a final point, I know that Adam Solar have also been around long enough that if I have a problem they won't disappear on me, unlike other solar companies.
