Misleading information by Lamora
I would like to put a review regarding the misleading information and false promises provided to us during our solar consultation with Lamora in 2023.Below is a summary of the concerns we experienced during and after the consultation process:
Misleading Information Regarding Electricity Bills
At the time of consultation, we already had a 6.6kW solar system. The salesperson assured us that we would not receive any electricity bills as long as we stayed within normal usage limits. We were also told that if any bills were generated, they would be refundable.
Based on this advice, and after being informed that our usage may occasionally go “out of limit,” we agreed to install two additional panels specifically to avoid receiving any bills. The salesperson guaranteed that we would not have to pay electricity bills after the upgrade.
Unfortunately, this information turned out to be inaccurate. We have continued to receive electricity bills despite upgrading to a 10kW solar system. This was a major factor in our decision-making, and we feel we were misled by false promises.
Incorrect Explanation of How the Solar System Works
During the consultation, the salesperson clearly informed us that the electricity generated during the daytime would be stored and then used during the night. Based on this explanation, we reasonably assumed that the system included some form of battery storage and inverter setup.
It was only later that we discovered there was no battery installed with the system. This raises serious concerns about the salesperson’s knowledge and understanding of the product being sold. It is disappointing that such inaccurate information was provided during the consultation process.
Overall, we are extremely dissatisfied with our experience with Lamora. We believe we were provided with misleading and inaccurate information that directly influenced our purchasing decision. The promises made during the sales consultation were not reflected in reality or in the final contract.
I strongly encourage future customers to carefully review all contracts and independently verify the information provided during consultations. In our experience, the verbal assurances given by the salesperson were significantly different from the actual outcome.
Despite having a 10kW solar system, our household of four people continues to receive electricity bills of approximately $50–$70 per month.
We request every customer to be aware of these type of companies or salesperson and read every kine of contract carefully.

Above expectations
Lamora were great to deal with. Talked me through the process well, so I had a solid understanding of what to expect. Installation went through without a hitch and the system itself has performed above expectations. Highly recommend.Panel rating: 5/5

Easy to work with - great service
When we started our solar journey, a previous provider took a deposit from us, only to pull the deal on the day of installation claiming that there wasn't enough rough space to install the panels we had purchased via a deal a few months prior. They said we could not get any solar and would have the same issues with any other provider too.We contacted Lamora Energy urgently and Lincoln (from Lamora) attended our house urgently to undertake a inspection. He was able to confirm that we can not only fit a large number of panels, but a good sized battery too. Following that, the process was extremely smooth and easy.
They stuck to their promises and have continued to check up even after installation to see if we're happy.
We're glad we contacted them and confirmed the information, or else we would've also pulled the plug on solar altogether.

Highly Recommend Lamora Energy
I recently had an 8.8kW solar system with a 20kW battery installed by Lamora Energy, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations.Brad from Lamora energy made my life easy, he not only took care of everything which allowed me to focus on my work and family, But he was there with the process, asking questions and always keeping me in the loop!
The installation process was completed efficiently and to a very high standard. The team was punctual, professional, and respectful of my home, leaving everything clean and tidy once the job was done. They even swept the floors clean for me!
I’d highly recommend Lamora Energy to anyone considering solar. Their quality of work, customer service, and overall professionalism really stand out
System I went with is 8.8kw solar, 20kwh battery with 10kw integrated inverter.

Excellent experience, highly recommended.
I engaged a couple of solar providers initially but after speaking with the rep from Lamora. They were the clear choice.They were very helpful in helping me understand the system that I was looking at was much larger than was needed for my household.
Ultimately going with 6.6kw panels and 15kwh battery. Which a few months in has been fantastic.
Sales reps are friendly, helpful and go above and beyond to make sure their system is fit for purpose.
Installation was quick and they cleaned up everything afterwards, also ensured I knew where all the necessary switches where and gave a great overview of the system itself.
Post Installation support has also been stellar with the Lamora team checking in proactively and making sure I am seeing the value of the system.
Would highly recommend them and will definitely engage them again should we move house.

Very happy with our solar & battery from Lamora
Lamora were easy to deal with from the start. The quoting process was clear and straightforward & they took the time to explain everything properly without any pressure. The installers arrived on time, were polite and professional, and left the site tidy once they were finished. After the installation, they were helpful in organising the grid connection and showed me how to use the battery, which made the whole process simple. Overall, the experience was smooth and hassle-free & I’d be happy to recommend Lamora.Panel rating: 5/5

Terrible service and not great return on what they recommended
We went with the recommended battery size and package and have been very underwhelmed. Most significant issue is that the system stopped working completely a few weeks ago and despite many phone calls, messages and a bit of advice that hasn't worked, we have been without solar (and therefore reluctant to use air con) over Christmas with 4 kids. Very impressed so far
We had Lamora Energy install a 11.66kW solar system, coupled with a 30kWh Anker Solix X1 battery 2 weeks ago.Our installers were very professional and had us up and running within half a day.
The Anker battery has been excellent so far. It’s super easy to understand and the Anker App is great. I love how slimline the battery modules are and how the inverter seamlessly integrates on top of as battery stack.
The sensor light is also super handy.
Very much looking forward to seeing how the Anker battery and solar panels perform during winter.

The best customer service!!!
I was extremely skeptical getting solar as there are so many companies out there which all apparently with the 'best price and service'.After getting multiple quotes, Lamora came in slightly higher than the others however the customer service and the lifetime warranty set themselves apart from the rest. The specialist I spoke to was very knowledgeable and was open to hearing my concerns. My appointment went well over 2 hours, but she answered every question I asked and didn't rush the process. I can't recommend Lamora enough!!!!

Excellent Experience with Lamora Energy
We had an amazing experience with Lamora Energy from the initial consultation right through to installation and after-sales support.The specialist they sent out took the time to explain how solar works, what savings we could realistically expect, and what factors would influence our electricity bills. We appreciated that they were transparent about how solar can significantly reduce our costs, but that it would depend on how we use the energy and our patterns.
The proposal clearly outlined what was included. The installation process was smooth, professional, and completed to a high standard.
Since the installation, we've seen a noticeable reduction in our electricity bills and have been pleased with the performance of the system. Whenever we've had questions, the team has been responsive and willing to help.
What stood out most was the level of communication and support throughout the process. We felt informed at every stage and never pressured into making a decision.
Overall, we're very happy with our experience and would confidently recommend Lamora Energy to anyone considering solar. It's refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely cares about its customers and stands behind its products and service.
