Awesome
I don’t know much about electricity. But after meeting Robbie for a home visit he sure taught me how much money I save now! Also that a power outage from Ergon doesn’t bother me anymore because I have battery backup that is seemless. Cheers Reddog!Panel rating: 5/5

Red Dog Power Company High Quality Service
Sales/ quoting were smooth and professional.Installation was done efficiently.
Customer service was faultless and very helpful.
Robbie explained the technical features with clarity and patience.
He set up the grid link with Ergon.
I am very satisfied with everything.
Since installation in March 2020 the system has worked at over 90% optimal performance.
The installation of Tilt Panels has made best use of our particular configuration.

all different budget options
Was given a few different options for the quote and a clear explanation of benefits of each system. Not just guided to the one the installer wanted.Install was very clean and tidy. A roof inspection on completion and not one scrap of wire in roof or gutters when completed.
Turned up when he said and very good with communication
Grid connection was organised and done and now let the saving begin bill went from 250 a months to about 70 and lower.

Red dog
Robbie who is Red dog is punctual, friendly, honest and reliable. He gave me multiple options to choose the best solar for my home and budget.Once I decided the system was installed very quickly and has been a fantastic saver.
Robbie organised everything. I didn't have to think about the solar at all!

Way below my expectations
If one star is the minimum, simply because he turned up to do some work, then so be it!Rob was fully aware of the scope of work. He visited the site and assessed what was required of him. He quoted the work accordingly and I accepted his price. To be clear, I supplied all the required solar system equipment. He only had to, assemble and commission, as per the scope of work that he agreed to and quoted on. Works were initiated, but soon halted, pending supply of two new battery cells.
In good faith, without a request from Rob, I paid him 80% of his quoted price, despite an est 30% of the total works performed. I naturally expected him to return and complete the job.
I called Rob when the replacement parts had arrived. He said he was busy but could make it ‘next Thursday’. That Thursday passed. He failed to show. I called him and he said he was still busy, but ‘next Thursday should be good’. He failed to turn up that Thursday as well! I called and asked him to call me back with a confirmed day that he would turn up to do more work.
He never called back! From that time on, he never returned any of my numerous calls or messages. It appears he was happy to take my overpayment for work he performed and leave me high and dry.
As far as I am concerned, Rob has no integrity and is dishonest. As for his competency, I can’t comment as insufficient work was performed to quantify.
He has let me down as a customer. However, he has let himself down even more. I perceived him to be honest and reputable. In fact, he is neither.
Very disappointing.
