Powerwave is a part of Australia's Kingston Group of companies and is based in Queensland. While an Australian company, their solar panels are produced in China.
Powerwave solar panels are actually rebadged Seraphim modules - and Seraphim is a pretty good brand in terms of performance vs. cost.
When we last checked, Powerwave was offering two different solar panel product lines in Australia. One is Twin Power featuring mono PERC split cells and the other is Obsidian, which are monocrystalline modules in wattages up to 345W. The product warranty for both is 10 years.
We're confident enough in the Powerwave brand to include it on our trusted solar brands chart, meaning we'd be confident enough of installing these panels on our own rooftops.
