New updated solar panel inverter, and matching battery
Sales and quoting process was excellent. The quote reflected our conversation and decision making.The install has yet to occur, the battery was not available before christmas.
10 months later we asked Nathan: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes, yes, yes. The fact is that peak time in the evening, off peak during the night and peak time in the morning is covered with our PV and battery. Sunshine during the day recharges the battery, and with the exception of the cold, reduced sunlight hours of winter, most days are covered just fine. I have yet to calculate the savings, but I get a lot of satisfaction from the leveling of the load on the grid and doing our bit at mitigating climate change.01 August 2026

Really Happy
I found that HIB was pretty easy to communicate with. Nothing was too hard and everyone was pretty approachable from Emelia in reception, to the lads that worked on site. Importantly, all seemed to enjoy their work and I was really pleased with their attitude and standard of work. The batteries will be installed when they become available in the new year. I would have no problem recommending this company to anyone interested in a solar installation.
