Murray, Nathan and the team have been helping Brisbane West residents enjoy the benefits of solar since 2007. A combination of our in house expertise and high quality Solahart products has provided our customers with consistently reliable saving from their Solar Power systems. We believe in developing in house expertise in order to provide the highest level of customer service.
Murray has been involved in the Solar Industry for over ten years and has presented to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students at The University of Queensland and is often invited to present at Local Solar Forums. Murray has completed a MBA at the University of Queensland to assist in managing the business and also possesses an Electrical Contractors Licence and Clean Energy Council Design and Install Accreditation.
Nathan is a Licenced Plumbing Contractor and holds the QBBC licence for the installation aspect of the business. Nathan manages the in house installation team of two solar installers, three full time plumbers, one apprentice and one electrician to ensure our installation are of the highest standard. We believe in supporting the community and employ local people and provide apprenticeships for the local youth.
When you call Solahart Brisbane West you will be taken care of by a local employee who wants to and is trained to provide you with the highest level of customer service. We focus on the following area so can respond quickly to customer requests, Northern Boundary – The Gap, all suburbs west of Beaudesert Road from the CBD to Algester, south to New Beith and our western boundary extends to Wacol.

Poor communication otherwise solid install
The quoting process was easy and pleasant. Sales person was knowledgeable and not pushy.After accepting the quote and paying the deposit, complete silence for over a week. Turned out staff troubles, but lack of communication was disconcerting. Due to demand and supply, install date was set about 3 months in the future.
I falsely assumed installation would occur over 1-2 days, possibly based on weather or complexity. Installation actually occurred in 3 main stages over 3 weeks with little communication in between. Sometimes we'd move the cars to the street ready for work men and vehicles the next day only to have that cancelled later the next day.
All work was done by contractors, who behaved professionally, but didn't always have the correct knowledge eg. Them: "We're here to install panels" Me: "Panels were schedule to arrive yesterday but did not". Another time, contractor showed me the panel plan which differed from mine. They had changed the plan, and the invoice, but not sent me the updated plan or discussed it with me. I might have requested some changes if they had.
If you've ever experienced great customer service by the likes of classic iinet or AussieBroadband, you would be disappointed by the lack of communication. As a customer, I'd like to know what is to be done and a schedule of when, updated as soon as possible for any change of plans.
Bottom line, delays both expected and unexpected, and poor communication all around. Otherwise the install appears to be solid, compliant and performing as forecast.
