Exceptional work, masterful and experienced.
Daniel reached out to me initially and helped design a system based off what I was trying to achieve; I think I changed the plan at least 5-8 times. He was patient, talked realistically and honestly and was willing to look at any wild ideas I had - even explaining to me how some of the setups I was looking at might not give me the return I'm looking for and recommended the right setup for my needs. This was despite some of those ideas having the potential to earn them more profit with a greater sale. He was always available and explained things clearly and simply. They were able to get the max benefit from both the federal rebate and the ACT Sustainable Household Scheme, and handled everything on their end without issue.Steve (the director) attended prior to install and gave the exact same experience, we talked about positioning and positives and negatives of my plan, and what they would need to do to also future-proof my electrics and save me money in the long-term. I wanted full back-up protection which would need an upgrade of my electricity box, and the price was very reasonable. The cable positioning was agreed-to, even though a little more inconvenient to them.
On install day it went smoothly and the power was off for only around 2 hours, as they were adding onto and upgrading an existing system. They broke a couple of roof tiles but patched them up and replaced them a few days later at no cost to me. The battery was fully charged that day by sunset and I've been exporting since.
The following day the kitchen lost power and Daniel answered the phone at 9am on a Saturday (while at home) to help me rectify the issue quickly and back on track. It was the dishwasher's fault and the new RCBOs they installed were a lot more sensitive to my older appliances.
Overall I can't recommend this company high enough! They are smaller than the more established players but as such you get much more personal service. It also means you get installed earlier. The larger installers couldn't install until April.
I ended up getting 20 AIKO panels @ 9.5kW added onto the existing 10 panels @ 2.8kW, feeding into a SigEnergy 10kW inverter and 32kW SigEnergy battery. This is in addition to a separate existing 8-panel 1.52kW array gross-fed system which wasn't touched, and a full upgrade of my electricity box.
It looks amazing! I especially like playing with the light designs on the battery, and I've already started maximising my savings and return using Amber Energy.
Thanks Steve, Daniel, Pat, Adam and the team for doing a fantastic job. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and genuinely cared for that which I deemed important.

Very good to deal with, install staff were courteous, polite and answered all questions asked.
The quote was easy to understand, and all details were explained. The grid layout on the roof was done between Jack and myself, all online with Maps etc.The installation went smoothly, and efficiently, and was done with our living quietly considered at all times.
The customer service on all levels was very good, from the quote process to the pricing and with an explanation provided of all aspects of the job from start to finish.
I was provided with all the necessary info needed to monitor the system, as well as the apps to show the generation and distribution of power to battery, home, or grid.

Professional installer
The sales and quoting process was excellent with great communication and information by phone and email. All installers were punctual and communicated their movements. They explained the procedure and what I needed to know about the way everything was set up snd what I needed to do. They cleaned up their mess and also removed pipes that were not their job to do. They made sure wires etc were covered safely.They showed me how to use everything and how to use the app. They also have encouraged me to contact them if I need further help.

Great value and service- highly reccommended
I've wanted a solar battery for some time but didn't know how to go about it, or what I needed to do to get the government rebate. I sent an enquiry to the Summit and Shore team on their website and they got it touch to get some more details about my usage and current solar panel set up. They also came to do a site visit and made sure I understood the process, understood where it would be installed and what I could expect post installation.With that information they created a proposal with two options outlined in detail, including projections of the cost savings over a 20 year period. It was incredibly helpful to see the options side by side and then also be called by one of the team who walked me through the pros and cons and helped me make a decision based on the features and price I was happy with. They also provided me with several financing options and answered my questions about the conditions and costs associated with these.
The team reached out to me to set up an install day that suited me and confirmed beforehand. They arrived on time and worked efficiently to get the job done in good time. Even when there were some very tight corners in my house to run cabling through they made sure it was done properly, even installing an additional access point in my garage which wasn't initially part of the plan! When they left my garage and garden was cleaner than before they came!
They checked in with me during the install, including giving me lots of notice for when the power would be off and getting it back on much quicker than I had expected. They showed me what had been done for the install, helped me to set up the app for tracking the power usage and generation on my phone and walked me through how to disconnect it in case of an emergency. They even provided remote oversight following the install to ensure the everything was working as it should.
At all times throughout the process the whole team was professional, polite and clearly well informed. They patiently answered all my many questions and explained everything in terminology I could understand. They handled all the paperwork including applications, rebate and financing for me so it felt easy. The only paperwork I had to spend time on was actually applying for the finance, which is to be expected. Even then, they set it up so the rest of the process was sorted.
I'm absolutely thrilled with my battery, it's incredibly satisfying to see how much energy I'm saving on my app. I'm even more thrilled at what great value it worked out to be with the team helping to get the best out of the government rebate and giving me an amazing value deal on top of that.
I highly recommend Summit and Shore Energy, I would use them again without a moment's hesitation.

Installation of panels and battery
Jack and all staff were very easy to deal with, from the initial enquiry and installation plan, which we did together, to the site visit to view the roof and meter board.Stephen and Pat were very professional in their approach, and answered all questions promptly and in easy to understand terms. The initial planned date, and the actual date of installation, were easy to accommodate for us and the installers.
Following installation, Pat and Stephen were very helpful in getting the ESY app on both my phone and the desktop computer. We love being able to see where the power is going at any time, and the battery usage screen is a big help. We are looking forward to being able to use the aircon, washing machine, dishwasher etc at any time of day or night. The 10.2 kw of panels and the 30 Kw battery are able to handle all the household demands at any time. We are vey happy with both the initial planning, installation and follow up from Summit and Shore.
