Extremely helpful and professional service and installation
MDB Solar SA were excellent to work with for our solar and battery installaiton.We found that many solar and battery providers weren't interested in talking to us while the new build was underway and wanted to wait for the house to be finalised first. MDB Solar SA were approachable and very helpful in explaining the process, and also engaging early during the build to ensure we had a good quality product (working in with other trades to get interfaces ready etc).
They were very flexible in working with timelines and open to support us.
The final installation looks excellent and a very professional team are at MDB Solar.

Well-priced and quality installation
This is my 3rd solar/battery install by the team at MDB Solar, and we couldn't be happier. The office team are well-informed, helpful and polite. The install team are professional and provided an explanation of the app and the system so I can confidently understand and operate the system. MDB Solar - exceptional!
MDB Solar delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish.Marco, Bianca and their team of tradesmen are knowledgeable, transparent, and genuinely focused on finding the right solution rather than pushing a sale. I was unsure about the battery size until Marco clearly explained the cost–benefit of each option, including expected daily throughput, usable capacity, and how it would pair with our existing solar array.
There was no upselling — just honest, data?driven advice that helped us make an informed decision.
Since installation, the improvement in our power generation and reduction in grid usage has been dramatic. The battery has been configured to maximise self?consumption and the system is operating exactly as modelled. MDB also took the time to optimise inverter settings, export limits and monitoring so everything works seamlessly.
Throughout the planning process, MDB maintained constant communication, listened to my installation preferences, and worked with me to achieve a result we were both happy with. Cable runs were neat, isolators and switchgear were positioned logically, and the overall workmanship is to a high standard. The installation team was punctual, polite, clean, efficient and completed exactly when promised.
We highly recommend MDB Solar to anyone wanting a reliable, high?quality solar and battery setup backed by genuine expertise, technical competence, and integrity.

Would highlighly recommend.
Very helpful provider, always answered questions and were flexible when changes were made along the way. Installation was very professionally done. Their quote was very reasonable particularly as a higher end battery was selected. Our roof was quite steep so they arranged scaffolding as well to complete the job.31 March 2026

Easy sales and quoting process. Communication was good and everything went according to plan. Installers arrived on time and completed the work with minimal fuss. MDB Solar SA
We had MDB Solar install our Solar and Battery after we had decided to have a Solar system installed at our new house.After our initial contact with MDB Solar, and our requirements were discussed, we promptly recieved a proposal.
MDB Solar had Domenic and crew come out to inspect the house for set up and layout shortly after and the install date was confirmed.
We had our questions answered and all our communications with MDB Solar were polite and respectful.
The install crew turned up on time and the install was done without any issue, and all left clean and tidy on the completion of the install.
Domenic showed us how the system worked and how to use the systems app. He was also helpful with any questions I had regarding the system configuration.
I'd highly recommend MDB Solar for your install.

Smooth, Quick, and Professional Battery Installation
After comparing three different quotes, I decided to go with MDB Solar SA for my battery installation, and I am highly satisfied with the choice. The sales and quoting process was incredibly smooth and quick, and booking the installation date was very straightforward.On the day of the installation, the electrician team (led by Victor) worked exceptionally hard and truly went above and beyond. They were polite, highly professional, and made sure to leave the work area completely neat and tidy once they were finished.
The customer service was also excellent. Victor took the time to explain everything clearly to me and made sure I understood how the new setup works before they left. Overall, it was a fantastic and seamless experience from the first quote to the final installation. Highly recommended!

Great service and very responsive
Was very happy with Adrian in the sales/quote team. He was very knowledgeable without being too sales/pushy which put me off some other companies. Very happy with the system and installation and service. The were very available to answer all my questions. We had someone come out to do a site visit and decided on a location for the battery+inverter. However, on installation day we were told that location could not be used. This was a little frustrating when it was already "confirmed" and double checked with the boss before installation day.19 February 2026
Excellent customer service
Simple quote process. Adrian emailed through some detailed quotes, and happily adjusted quotes for ever changing requests adjusting solar and battery size. Settled on 17kwh solar and 48kwh battery all with Sigenergy.Inspection date booked 1 month after signed quote, and with installation date another month later.
Received a call 3 weeks before install date saying there was an opening if they could install next day, I said yes thank you very much.
Installers showed up promptly at 7am, and were completely finished and moved on by midday, with system up and running perfectly. Much quicker than expected, especially compared to neighbours who had installers aroudn for a couple of days.

The installer we used was excellent to deal with. We wanted an in home consultation and they were more than happy to accomidate that request. They were very patient as we are an older couple. After we signed the contract, the service continued to be well above expectations. Installation happened today. The crew were great ! Very professional ! The instalation looks amazing. What a reliable business!
My 3-phase 15kW pv installation consists of two sub-systems. Adding SigenStor battery (24.2kWh) was not as strightforward as installing a new pv solar and battery package. There was a number of issues to consider, like which existing inverter should be taken out, which pv subsystem to use for battery charging, re-arangement of DC wiring (number of MPPT), AC wiring (the whole switchboard was gutted out, rewired to Sigen Gateway, full house backup except main a/cond).I am very pleased with the approach MDB Solar has taken to achieve the best results to suit my daily energy usage profile. It's now two months since the sigen system has been commissioned. No single issue with any system's component. Price, communication, problem solving, attention to detail, installation aesthetics, punctuality - for all the above 10 out of 10. Highly recommended installer.Battery rating: 5/5

Amazing service, friendly staff and an all round brilliant experience!
Marco and his crew were amazing from the 1st day we contacted them.I’m extremely happy with the solar panel and battery installation on my home. The team worked with nonstop effort from start to finish and never slowed down. They were quick, efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing. Throughout the process they took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, which made the whole experience stress-free. The quote was straightforward, transparent, and very reasonably priced compared to others. Overall, excellent workmanship, great communication, and a job very well done. Highly recommended.

Amazing customer service, installation and pricing
Getting solar installed by MDB Solar was seamless and smooth. Marco walked me through the whole thing with the calm confidence and professionalism with an old school touch.Bianca kept the comms sharp and stress-free, no chasing, no guessing and even followed up when we had issues that we didn’t even know about.
The install team were fast, tidy and respectful of our home like a crew that’s been doing this since before solar was cool.

Great team, impressive system
Obtaining written quote was easy and quick, good advice given on options and configuration and quote was clear. Installation set up around our availability and team arrived when they said they would. Conditions on the day were rainy and cold but guys worked through and got the system installed and configured in one day. Great service and install
2nd time using MDB Solar - first time was getting our solar system installed a few years ago.This time was a battery.
Both times the communication before + install team have been very easy to deal with and made sure everything was setup right.
Will be using them again in the future if I need to do anything else solar/battery related.

Great Company
Reliable honest company to deal with.Visited my home pre quotation to view location of installation of new battery and also electrical upgrades by company technicians.
Quote was very competitive and after discussing with the Owner Marco i was very comfortable to go ahead with the installation.
Quality of product and workmanship was excellent.
Installers were employees of MDB Solar and not subcontractors was another selling feature

Fantastic installer, beautiful service and communication
Marco and his team installed a 12.76 KW system with 25kw Sungrow batteries with Jinko panels to my house. We thoroughly recommend MBS solar, Marco 's communication was so good. Marco organised everything in regards to my installation. I always felt comfortable with the lead times of installation. Quality of the work was excellent, installation was done in one day. Excellent customer service & installation
Extremely happy that we chose MDB Solar to replace our old solar system with a new solar system & battery. Marco & Bianca were friendly & helpful during the quoting process & in organising the timing of the installation after we decided to accept their quote. The installation was well organised & Domenic & the team were punctual, polite, professional & friendly. The system was neatly installed, the site tidied & a visual explanation of the various components & changes to the electrical switchboard was given. After sales service has also been excellent in following up the battery rebate & providing an extensive user manual. The new solar system has been working for about 2 months & the battery for nearly a month & are going really well. We have no hesitation in recommending MDB Solar.Panel rating: 5/5
