Excellent Solar and Battery Installation – Highly Recommend!

Had solar panels and a battery system installed recently, and I’m very happy with the result. The team was professional, efficient, and answered all my questions. The installation was smooth, and they left everything clean. I’ve already noticed a drop in my energy bills, and I’m glad to be using renewable energy. Highly recommend.

Fast, cost effective, great installers

Installed a 6.6kW system and had it all sorted within a few weeks. Salesperson was helpful with layouts on roof and some minor concerns for the install including potential shading from a pipe. Price was the best we received, and proposal was by far the most straight-forward. Didn't feel like we were being oversold.

Install team arrived and completed the job quickly and efficiently, despite being caught in some sudden but reasonable heavy rain for a short period. Install is neat and tidy, and all work areas were cleaned up went the job was completed.

Inverter repair

Needed a replacement inverter when the original one malfunctioned and I was getting nowhere with the original installer. Shane gave me a competitive quote for a replacement inverter and the job was done promptly and efficiently and we were back up and producing electricity again in no time flat. All in all a good service from Sundrop Electricals.

Fantastic Installation and great price.

Quoting process was easy and over the phone Kevin was very knowledgeable.

Sundrops quote was the cheapest quote we received but also offered the best rated inverter and panels as reviewed by solar quotes.

Installation went smoothly, they did arrived with different rails but offered to reduce the price or go get them I was happy to reduce the price.

Shane also walked me through the system and helped me setup the monitoring app.

Would definitely recommend and will provide an update in a year but 2 days in the system is already producing lots of excess power that we are selling to the grid.

Easy process, flexible with requirements.

Quoting process was over the phone and simple due to the simplicity of my install. Of the three quotes they were the cheapest by a decent margin.

Installation was done in a morning and besides breaking a couple of tiles (it’s an old roof and I keep half a dozen spares anyway) there was no issue at all.

My only gripe would be the lack of communication for about a week after signing the contract and having to call to lock in an installation date.

All-in-all I’m very happy with the process.

Seems like a great overall experience the only reason I gave 4/5 stars for the system quality was because the manufacturers app isnt the best.

Overall the sales person who got in contact with me was very personable quick to answer everything and explain it all.
The installation team came in at the time requested put it together super fast cleaned up after themselves and were great at explaining everything too. 10/10 there.
Customer service went really well in general, polite, quick, followed up, kind when I said I was getting other quotes and patient waiting for me to get back to them.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Shane to install a 10.56kW solar PV system, complete with a Sungrow Hybrid inverter and a 12.8kWh battery. From start to finish, Shane's professionalism, patience, and expert knowledge made the entire process a breeze. Extremely smooth process from start to finish. Quote had all information and multiple options. Fast and clear communication. A Very helpful and friendly installation team. I wanted Solar on my shed which had no power. Sundrop boys ran underground power, installed sub-board into shed so that I can get what I want.
