Trentham Energy is a locally owned solar, battery and energy business based in Trentham, servicing the Macedon Ranges, Hepburn Shire and surrounding regional Victoria.
We believe in doing it right the first time. That means a proper site visit, a close look at how you actually use power, and a system designed around your home rather than a one size fits all package. We only use quality equipment from brands we trust to perform for the long haul, because cheap gear that fails in five years isn't a saving.
Our in house electricians are local people who know the area and take pride in their work. Every job is planned, checked and signed off by our own team, and we stay involved after the install with aftersales support and system checks.
We help households move towards full electrification, bringing solar, home batteries, off grid systems, EV charging and air conditioning together under one trusted local business. Whether it's a family home, a large rural property, a farm or a remote build, we'll design a setup that cuts your bills and gives you more control over your energy.

Great installation
The installers explained what panels and inverter was needed and reasons for the choice, Mick McDonald suggested a Fronius Primo GEN24 10kw inverter for our system and quality Jinko Solar Neo Tiger panels26 offIt works excellent with a Fronius App that show all the information we need.
Finn gave us 3 choices of installers, in which we went Trentham Electrical and Solar who locally based in Trentham Victoria. The service was great with consultations begore, during and after. We replaced an existing 3 kw system installed in October 2009

Great Company easy to work with
We were so happy with the service from start to finish. From sales through to installation, everything was handled professionally and smoothly. Once the system was installed, the team took the time to walk us through everything in detail, which gave us great confidence in using it.They also managed all the compliance with Powercor and took care of the rebate paperwork, which certainly made the whole process much easier for us. We really appreciated their thoroughness and attention to detail.

Highly recommended, A+ service
Very happy with Trentham Electrical.Our LG battery was recalled & refunded, and we took the opportunity to slightly upgrade our system, plus correct an issue with the original installation. I was able to speak directly with the company principal, who was the person doing the actual installation. He understood exactly where I was coming from, and accurately reflected our conversation in a comprehensive email. The business teamwork was seamless, and installation was timely, smooth and thoughtful, incorporating our aesthetic preference too. The quote was competitive, and almost identical to the only other formal quote we received (2 other companies we contacted didn't bother to submit a quote at all).
A month down the track our new battery is still performing beautifully, and we feel confident that IF an issue arose, Trentham Electrical would be very responsive.

Very happy with installation and system. All went smoothly and with no fuss. Install timing was as promised.
We had our new battery installed, connecting to an existing solar panel and inverter system which was approx 2 years old and installed by previous owner of house. The three quotes we received were all viable and competitive. All offered slightly different solutions and hardware etc. Trentham electrical provided us with the confidence that the solution and products offered would best suit our needs and provide a system which would work seamlessly combining new with existing.
