i have had an audit done from the government and they said to me that my system was a very good job.
They were impressed by the standard of workmanship and materials used.
Im so happy i bought another three systems from Nicholls Solar for my investment properties and have two friends buy from them as well.

It was purchased as a 2 Kw inverter. Energex now rate it at 2.2 Kw which means that I cannot add another 3kw system.

1. Inverter installed inside was 'noisy' above 1800W, with lower peak throughput than friends' 2kW systems with Aurora inverters
2. Replaced under warranty - same problem
3. Original inverter bench tested OK
4. SEA engineer then advised 2kW Orion inverter was not compatible with Ulica panels - 8x 250W. (Series string excess Vdc, 2 parallel strings excess Idc (which was causing the loud buzzing noise)
5. Nicholls Solar then replaced the Orion with an Aurora inverter

Note: The original inverter / panel combination was a standard 2 kW Nicholls Solar package. There are probably dozens installed in SE Queensland in June 2011. (Some 'happy' customers must be a bit deaf)

The original Inverter failed about 3-4 months after install. It was replaced by the installer with the same model albeit with new firmware, I think. The second inverter is still going strong a year later.

I think the fact I do not have the inverter exposed to the elements is a big factor. Its in carport/garage.
I think, for safety and better cooling, it could be brought out from the wall about 25 mm, not that I have had any over-heating problems.
