Castle Solar was a fantastic choice! Ben was prompt, courteous and extremely helpful. He answered all my queries (and there were many, some bordering on nerdy). The suggestions he made were spot on and I can’t thank him and his team enough for the excellent install they carried out. His attention to detail was quite amazing actually, even with yours truly looking over his shoulder and still asking questions. He organised everything from go to whoa. All I had to do was install my solar app to check my usage.The best comment I can make about my install is “would I recommend him”? You betcha… and I will, as I have a friend who is considering solar.

High quality installer and a pleasure to deal with
Ben came to our house to discuss the options and had a look at the roof, the meter box, and a peek inside the roof space. Talking to the person who would actually be doing the installation gave me a high degree of confidence regarding the quality of the system installation. Ben provided options that suited what we were looking for, and was a pleasure to deal with through the whole process.During installation, Ben and his team were polite, tidy and punctual, and were willing to answer all of my questions. I really appreciated their attention to detail and also feedback on the ridge capping on my roof.
They also coped well with adapting the layout slightly when one panel did not fit due to the rafter arrangement and had to be shifted to an adjacent section of the roof.
System labeling and documentation look to be thorough and professional.

Neat, Tidy
Good coms. Neat at Tidy. Quality gear. Great Price.Only fizzer is that the Fronius inverter is DoA although it appeared OK. Thats getting replaced tomorrow, so there might be an update to this review!

A Positive Experience
Ben Castle was prompt, professional, well organised and versed with the solar industry and the suite of products available.As the installer (rather than a salesperson) he spent time at the initial meeting doing an on-site assessment of the house and provided expert advice regarding installation of the panels and inverter.
Within a few days he presented the appropriate quotes with three (and finally four) options available, and provided follow up advice and information as requested.
Ben was always on time and professional in his approach and the work went smoothly. There was a minimum of inconvenience and he was concerned to ensure that the completed work was neat and tidy.
On completion of the installation we received appropriate contract documentation and advice on the grid connection process. We also received a link to the inverter website to be able to install the system performance monitoring app.
Subsequently we have been able to observe what appears to be very satisfactory performance of our solar system and we would recommend Castle Solar Pty Ltd to anyone seeking a quotation and services regarding solar energy.

Highly recommend solar installation company Castle Solar
Ben Castle took on the challenge of providing solar to 3 units in our little block of 6. Ben was both professional and friendly. He met with us to discuss our requirements and provided a quote with mulitple options in less than 24 hours. He was helpful, prompt and patient in clarifying our questions. Ben was clear in his communications. He was both efficient and precise with the installation resulting in a very neat and thorough job. He was very respectful of our property, taking care with the ascetics of all the wiring.The independent inspector also commented on the quality of the work. I would highly recommend Castle Solar.

Very professional job and process
Ben (owner and lead electrician) measured the roof and supplied me with a detailed quote, which I accepted. He arrived at the agreed date/time, installed a very neat system, completed the paperwork, uploaded the monitoring system etc. and explained everything fully at every stage. Excellent Installer and Products
Castle Solar was one of the three providers given to us via the Solar Quote process. Castle Solar was the first to get in contact and the first to complete a site visit. As Ben is the owner, installer and designer, he was able to answer all of the questions we had. He recommended that we use angle mounts for the panels, as our roof has a one degree pitch south facing. Having the angle mounts will provide better generation during winter, which is the time of the year we need the solar the most. We decided after we received the quote that we might install batteries in the future, Ben adjusted the quote for a Hybrid Inverter, so when we are ready, it will be an easier installation.Once we were happy, Ben did all of the paperwork and organised the installation, keeping us updated on the progress of the equipment deliveries. On the day of the installation, Ben and his team were very considerate of the noise and did a great job of the installation. As a person who appreciates the attention to detail in peoples work, the installation was done at a very high standard.
I would highly recommend Castle Solar to anyone in Hobart wanting to install Solar, we will be giving them a call when we are ready for batteries.
