Fantastic Installer
We have now had our solar panels and battery system installed for around 10 months, and we couldn’t be happier with both the system and the service we received from Ben and his team.When we first started looking into solar, we had very limited knowledge about how solar panels and battery storage actually worked. Ben took the time to explain everything to us in detail and, importantly, made sure we understood our options rather than simply trying to sell us the biggest or most expensive system.
In fact, based on our limited understanding at the time, we thought we needed a much larger battery. Ben recommended against it, and now that we understand our system better, we can really appreciate that he was giving us honest advice rather than trying to upsell us something we didn’t need. That really says a lot about his integrity and the way he does business.
Ben was extremely communicative throughout the whole process, and all of the workers were courteous, respectful and tidy. While Ben wasn’t the cheapest quote we received, when we compared the quality of the panels, inverter and battery systems being offered, we found that the equipment he recommended was of a much higher quality than some of the cheaper quotes.
We have since had a Sigen DC EV charger installed by Ben as well, and once again we have been extremely happy with the service and the end result.
We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Ben and his business. In fact, we have already recommended him verbally to friends and acquaintances. For us, it wasn’t just about getting solar installed — it was about having someone we could trust to provide the right solution for our needs, explain things clearly and stand behind the quality of his work.
Ten months on, we are still very happy customers and would happily use Ben again.

Great team, good advice
Great advice and assistance from the Castle Solar team. We live in a bushfire prone area, and they made sure the fittings and conduit was BAL rated to maintain our house BAL rating. Ben put together a thoughtful layout of the solar panels that maintains the aesthetic of the roof. This was better than others who quoted.
