Great battery design and installation

Hinterland and Coast Electrical did a great job helping to design the battery configuration based on our needs.
They were available to discuss, explain and update the quotes.
Once everything was decided, they have been flexible on the installation date to match our constraintes.
The battery installation was completed in approximatly 4 hours, and they did a really great job.
The system was fully operational when they left, and I was able to manage my new Sigenergy from the App.
They have also been responding to my requests when I was stuck trying to customized some settings.

Great System. Works fantastically.

Getting a quote was very smooth and easy.
The installation itself went well. The installers were professional and tidy and always arrived on time.
The actual installation was delayed beyond the original 4 weeks estimate. I rang a couple of times and was told that they were waiting on Energex for their approval. This made no sense as I received a copy of the Energex approval. Even saying this on the first occasion I was told the same excuse the second time I rang.
Overall I am happy with the installation even if the office side was not as effective.

I did get a cover for the battery which came with attachment holes that can be slid over the bolts/screws. The installer hard bolted the cover, so the only way to remove the cover now is to remove the bolts rather than just slide the cover off.
Hopefully that will not be required any time soon.

Good Experience To begin with

Had a good expereince from the start, I havent yet to have my system installed. The Sales person i was dealing with has since left the company and I must say the costumer service has dropped since then.

Very happy.

All went well. There was an issue with the paperwork and the battery was installed as 24 kWh rather than 32 kWh. They resolved it the very next day without a hassle.

Responsive and flexible

Jessica was very responsive to my many design changes and detailed questions which ultimately led to my final option. Also they provided a flexible service to arrange delayed installation after our roof cleaned. Price package competive and transparent.

Fast installation and quick response after some initial questions

Decided to go with Hinterland because they were quick to quote, cheaper than other companies but mostly because their sales person was quick to follow up and also to check in regarding yea toons or issues. It made me more certain that any problems after installation would be dealt with quickly.

Installation was much faster than expected as they had cancellation. There was an issue in that they had expected house to have 3 phase when it actually only had single. A site visit prior installation would have helped. They quickly explained need for different inverter and there was no delay in completing job. Also were able to add RV charger at last minute and completion of this setup was again easy despite initial problems. The electrician attended our property within 30 minutes of discussing issue by phone (after initially phoning me on Australia Day when I had questions).

Efficient sales process

Installer replied within a day or two of the initial request and followed up quickly at what was a very busy time of year. They were able to fast track installation due to a cancellation which meant only waited about a week. All companies had indicated likely 1 month wait due to high demand coming in to the end of the year. My research indicated they used good quality, well known products and the quote was definitely much cheaper than others received. The app is very informative too. The installers were on time and got the job done quickly. There was an issue with linking the power into the house with all power going to the grid. This was rectified the next day with a smart meter installed.

Very happy thus far.

Hinterland and Coast Electrical were fantastic, from the salesman through to the installers, the process was easy. Installers were prompt, polite and efficient. The system was installed within weeks of me placing the order and is running perfectly. Everything was up and running in a day, I have the phone app and keep up to date with what is happening on the system daily.
