Value for money from an excellent owner/operator
Finn's recommended installers:1) Recommendation No 1: Spent no time to talk to us to find out what we wanted / needed and went ahead and quoted us a 'way over the top' system and price via email with no follow-up until last week (4 weeks later)
2) Booked a Zoom call as suggested and were confronted with a sales spin on how good and reliable they were. Probably true, however, with that much back up and infrastructure, one would expect things to cost more, but their price was DOUBLE to what everyone else was quoting. No thanks.
We researched some suppliers ourselves and Finn's tips on what to ask, what to watch out for and also us 'pulling the advertised special apart', which involved inferior products then what we wanted etc and mostly (but not always) sales people, who were focussed on price only and being quite pushy to make quota I guess, some even claiming they were installing it, but on further push-back from me and interrogating them, found out they were simply sales people and the work was being outsourced, and this with 6 different suppliers we found on Google and Social Media.
Anyway, through family who had 4 systems installed with helpful customer service by a qualified electrician/installer, who was about 30mins drive away, we got a fast quote/same day on a Saturday and he was completely transparent and non-pushy. We found he had excellent only 5 star Google reviews and he actually recommended new, better Jinko panels with more power (first and only supplier out of 8 who did!) and we had confidence that we were getting a good install.
The deal wasn't the cheapest, but it was good value we thought and when one of our relatives had had a WIFI issue with the monitoring app, he had been available straight away to help fix the problem and he has been in business for 6+ years.
System was installed last Thursday. Installers were polite, he was here himself, most of the day, on the roof, checking on things and submitted the paperwork to our electricity company whilst onsite. We're just waiting to get a new SmartMeter installed by Red Energy and then we'll switch over. Even went to the trouble to install the Inverter in the garage at no extra cost, so it wasn't exposed to the sun.
So far, so good. Very happy.
Best in the market in terms of both quality and price
Best Green Solar installed my solar system. I contacted about 20 or so companies when I first started looking into solar energy to receive quotes. I ran into these individuals during that process. Mahesh, a man who was probably the owner, thoroughly explained everything to me about the solar system, and he provided me with a quote that was at least 20% less expensive than the market. I learned how polite and honest Mahesh and the Best Green Solar firm are when I spoke with other businesses after speaking with Mahesh (some of them tried to trick me). Nobody was even close in competition to Best Green Solar. It was no brainer for me to choose them. They installed it really promptly as well. Even in my dreams, I would recommend them because I am so happy with them!Panel rating: 5/5
