Fantastic installer & post-sales support
Nana and the entire team and Decarby were truly excellent. They turned up on time, provided very sharp pricing/quotes, and worked very hard the day of install. We have a very sharp/pitched roof and the team went above and beyond to install all of our solar in a single day, working late, slipping (due to the roof + weather), and didn't complain or try to charge me extra as a result.Post sales, I have reached out to Nana with a couple of general questions and I am blown away at how much she went above and beyond to help me get answers and find solutions to my inquiries.
If you are thinking of getting solar, you would be crazy to not get Decarby to at least get you a quote. They are definitely worth considering as an option.

Best choice ever!
After more than 20 emails and numerous phone calls before choosing Decarby as the installer for our solar system and heat pump, followed by another 20 or so emails and calls afterward (I had a lot of questions!), I can confidently say I made the right choice.Nana and Bilal were incredibly patient, honest, polite, and responsive throughout the entire process. They always took the time to answer my questions thoroughly, provide accurate information, and recommend solutions that genuinely suited my needs rather than simply trying to make a sale.
What stood out to me most was that Decarby does not use subcontractors for their installations. I was able to deal directly with the business owner and manager, who listened carefully to what I wanted to achieve and understood my goals. Their pricing was very reasonable, and the installation date was scheduled much sooner than I expected.
Before installation day, I was provided with clear information about what to expect, including the estimated power outage timeframe, which helped me plan my day. On the day itself, the team arrived exactly on time. Everyone was professional and courteous, and they explained the work schedule and expected outage times again so I could prepare, as I was working from home. The entire installation process went smoothly and efficiently.
At the end of the day, Uyger, the lead electrician, walked me through how the system works and helped me set up the Sigen app on my phone, while the rest of the team cleaned up the work area.
After the installation was completed, I noticed a small amount of damage to our garage ceiling and reported it to Nana. She immediately took responsibility and arranged for a trusted plasterer to repair it. What impressed me most was that she patiently waited until I was completely satisfied with the repair before requesting the final payment. The repair was done so well that I honestly cannot tell where the damage was.
I am truly grateful that I chose Decarby for this project and would highly recommend them to anyone considering solar or heat pump installation. The team consistently delivered outstanding customer service, quality workmanship, and genuine care throughout the entire process. It is clear that they take pride in their work and are committed to achieving the best possible outcome for their customers.

Genuine service with great customer support
The quoting process was straightforward and pressure free. Bilal took the time to understand what we wanted, explained the different options clearly, and was happy to adjust the design until it suited our home and budget. We never felt like we were being sold something we didn't need.The installation team arrived when they said they would, were friendly and professional throughout, and left the site clean and tidy at the end of the job. The quality of the workmanship gave us confidence that everything had been done properly.
Customer service has been excellent from start to finish. The team kept us updated throughout the process, organised the grid connection, and took the time to show us how to monitor and get the most out of our new solar and battery system. Even after the installation, they were happy to answer our questions and made sure everything was working as expected.
Overall, we're very happy with the experience and would confidently recommend Decarby to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, honest, and reliable solar installer in Canberra.

Reliable solar panel and battery installer
I am very pleased with the solar panel and battery installation by Decarby team at my home in Taylor. I appreciate the honest advice from the Decarby electrician on choosing right balance on panel size and battery capacity, the system we have chosen (12.5 KW panel & 24 KWH battery) is perfect for our demand. I also find Decarby office team very prompt and helpful. In terms of cost, i think we got a good deal. Overall, I am happy with the installation and i look forward to having good post-installation service from the Decarby team.Regards, Karim

Fantastic install and customer service
From their first visit, I received a detailed explanation and a warm, friendly welcome, which immediately gave me a highly professional impression. My house had a pretty complex setup with a higher installation difficulty than most standard homes. However, the electrician thoroughly inspected the site and explained the exact installation process to me. While other companies tried to push for an easier route—either leaving messy exposed wiring on the exterior or forcing the battery into a location that was just convenient for them—Decarby cleanly hid all the incoming indoor wiring and installed the battery exactly where I wanted it. On top of that, they offered a very reasonable price. When there was a slight miscommunication, they took full responsibility and made it right. Choosing Decarby was a decision I am completely satisfied with in every possible way.Battery rating: 5/5

They did what others can't do
We are extremely pleased with the professionalism, quality, and responsiveness of the team at Decarby. From the very beginning, Nana and the team were knowledgeable, considerate, and genuinely focused on finding the best solar and battery solution for our needs rather than pushing unnecessary extras.What really stood out was that Decarby is Canberra-based and uses its own experienced installation team. Having them visit the house in person made a huge difference — they carefully assessed everything, explained the options clearly, and tailored a practical and affordable system for us.
The entire process was seamless from consultation through installation. Communication was prompt, timelines were met, and the workmanship was excellent. It’s reassuring knowing the company is fully accredited with NETCC, CEC, and SAA, and led by a chartered engineer with major Canberra project experience, including Parliament House projects.
If you are considering solar or battery storage in Canberra, save yourself time and start with Decarby. Highly recommended.

Decarby the first choice
Very pleased with the professionalism and promptness of Decarby. Nana and the team are considerate and competent. Having them come out to the house is a must, I can't recommend them enough.
