Abbotsham solar and battery installation
I’ve use Degree C twice now for solar panels and more recently a house battery. On both occasions their work before, during and after installation has been outstanding. Sam is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough and communicates in a professional manner. Professional and friendly
Matt did a fantastic job on the install—very professional and friendly. His work was efficient, neat, and tidy throughout. Communication with Degree C representative Sam was clear and prompt, making the whole process smooth and easy from start to finish. Couldn’t be happier!
We contacted Degree C after obtaining a quote from a company sourced on Facebook. The consultant was quite forceful and brief in his explanation of what type and size of system he recommended whilst continually pushing himself as our new best friend and that all installers were the same under the new Government Guidelines. He also stated he didn’t need to visit our property as he could see everything on Google Earth.We then checked out Solar Quotes website and decided to obtain more quotes. That lead us to Degree C and Sam.
Sam turned up the next day and spent several hours walking us through the complete process from roof angles and seasonal angles of the sun to tariffs and feed in rates. He then quoted a 50% larger system for less money.
I totally recommend Sam and Degree C to anyone in Tasmania looking for a solar panel installation.

Sam is brilliant! Best in Tassie hands down
Sam at Degree C was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing the right solar system for our house and aspect. He also took the time to understand our energy use and to get the most from our solar use and the tarriffs we required. The system he supplied performs really well and I can't fault it. Highly recommend-very knowledgeable
The step by step explanation of how it all works was fantastic as it was all a bit daunting to us. We worked together with Degree C to cater the installation to suit our needs, rather than just trying to sell us something we didn’t need. Absolutely brilliant
This is the 3rd system Degree C has installed for me. 1 being previous home, 2nd being for my son and 3rd being our new home. The knowledge that Sam particularly passed on from the first install was invaluable and he knew what he was talking about. The whole process form start to finish was smooth and we were kept up to date on everything. The quality of the system from 1st install to now i can not fault and everything works as it should. The back up service, although literally haven't needed it has been prompt and actioned immediately. Obviously going back to Degree C 3 times says everything that I didn't trust in other installers and pricing was extremely competitive and trust me I did shop around. All Expectations Met
The sales representative explained all the options and factors which needed to be taken into account in choosing the inverter, panels etc. Everything happened as planned, the installation went smoothly and all subsequent questions answered promptly.29 October 2024

Outstanding end to end solar service
We reached out to Degree C to talk about whether installing a solar system would be suitable for our home, and I have been impressed beyond expectations with the outcome. Sam from Degree C was so generous with his time, giving us two sessions initially to come and look at our home and talk through the most suitable options. He was able to explain everything in easy to understand practice terms and really took our needs into consideration. He was then able to guide us through the whole process, from placing an application for the works, navigating the council hurdles, and arranging a suitable date for installation. The installer Sam organized, Matt, was excellent. He worked exceptionally diligently, with no disruptions to my working from home role. The quality of his work was of the highest standard, and he left the site pretty much cleaner than when he arrived. I would not hesitate to recommend Sam, Matt and Degree C to anyone considering implementing solar.Panel rating: 5/5
