Excellent service and a great result.
Derwent Electrical responded to us via the Solar Quotes referral service. Sam contacted us promptly and arranged an onsite visit to assess our needs and discuss detailed aspects of the job, particularly the location of the battery and inverter. He presented us with several options at different price points and explained the pros and cons of each. The final price for the battery and panels was significantly lower than we'd been quoted by another installer, so we decided to spend the difference on two heat pumps.The install went smoothly despite challenging weather, and the work was very neat and tidy. Sam carried out a personal inspection at completion and arranged a follow up visit to make some last tweaks to the system at no extra charge.
Derwent Electrical handled all the paperwork including applying for rebates and liasing with TasNetworks. Communication was excellent.
We're very happy with our system and highly recommend Derwent Electrical.

Derwent electrical were absolutely amazing!
I could not recommend Derwent electrical enough! The sale/quoting process was quick and easy! They did not constantly hassle us and we did not have to make a decision on the day, unlike other companies we had received quotes from.Once we had finance the installation was so quick. They were polite, tidy and got the job done quick and efficiently. No matter who you dealt with they were also was so nice and friendly and never made you feel like any question was silly. If you are looking at getting solar contact them, you won’t regret it!

Very happy!
Sam was very easy to deal with and explained the whole process. He organised everything and made it so easy from my end. The team were punctual and obliging. I also had an EV charger installed and the app on my phone shows me how well the solar is working for me, love it! I’ve recommended Sam to all my friends who are thinking about installing solar!
