We're Happy
TMEC: The quoting process was efficient and honest, as was their advice. I was immediately impressed with their knowledge base. The sales and installation teams rolled up when they said they would and were friendly, professional and efficient in performing their tasks. The quote was not the cheapest but it was very competitive. However TMEC is a locally owned small business and that heavily influenced our selection process.Panel rating: 5/5

Solar battery sales and installation
Tmec sales explained the process fully and their quote reflected our conversation. They were the lowest quote, and the entire installation process was both efficient and professional. Their team was punctual, polite, helpful and left the worksite clean. I would happily recommend them.12 August 2025
Reasonable price, fast response, top quality work.
I couldn't be happier with my dealings with TMEC Services.The salesman visited our house 3 days after I had requested quotes from Solar Quotes. He was a repurposed tradie who actually knew what he was talking about and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't require. The quote came the same day and was so reasonable I signed straight away.
Less than a month later two very pleasant tradies came and spent a couple of days removing the old system and installing a new inverter and panels. They listened when I told them my preferences for how the panels should be positioned on the roof. They were unable to install the battery as it was still in China!.
When the battery arrived they came back and installed that and made sure the system was set up as I wanted.
A really neat install and they left the work area spotless.
So everything was up and working 8 weeks after I had first contacted Solar Quotes and at least 2 of those weeks were waiting for the battery to arrive from China.
Emails have been answered the same day as they were sent - often by Tom Murray, the TM in TMEC Services. Always good to be able to talk to the boss!

Reliable, reasonably priced installer

Good comunication
The quote took a while because I was trying to compare the 'same' with 'same' and it eventually came down to the best price for near identical systems. TMEC, both office and electricians/installers, were always friendly and quite prepared to explain fully any questions I had. A date was given and installed on. Was shown how it would work under different senarios. Everthing is as good as could be hoped for. The battery is exporting to the grid but just needs the energy supplier to alter the connection type from what it was to what it now is. Was also shown the app and can now monitor it anytime. Agreat job.
