LVR Solar Review
LVR Solar was the only one of three installers that visited the site prior to quoting that involved installation of batteries to existing solar panels. The prior visit meant that components were located in a suitable place and a plan of their location provided. The installation was timed at a mutually agreed date by LV Solar who engaged installers who were polite and tidy. The space where the Goodwe system was installed meant replacing existing inverters and, while this left some existing holes for cabling in a plasterboard wall these were repaired. There is a problem with the property being in a WIFI black spot and I am currently working with LV Solar to overcome this problem so that I can monitor the system and exercise some control over its functioning.28 August 2025

Thanks to their work we’re now far less reliant on the grid and set up for the future with solar, battery storage, and EV charging. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their home and reduce their energy costs.

Still Waiting
LV attended my property promptly, provided a very comprehensive quote explaining how the battery would work etc and after consideration I accepted the quote. At their request I paid 50% ($5,500) up front and I haven't had any contact with them since! I understand that there is a backlog on Siegen systems because they're so popular but LV haven't responded to my texts and they don't answer the number provided. I would appreciate an update on the installation and confirmation of receipt for the deposit.I have therefore rated them deliberately low because I have no idea of the answers to any of the questions.

Much more than I expected. I live in a rural area, at the end of a single power line and the electrical supply is often interrupted. Previously very annoying because everything in the house (including water from my tanks) is non operational until its restored. Now, the only way I notice is a text from the Sigen app telling me that its taken over and how many hours I have left in storage. Wonderful!
