Fantastic installer
Extremely happy with Solar Chief doing our install. Fantastic customer service by Alex Williams, was extremely helpful throughout the process. Solar Chief offer competitive pricing for their installs. Some companies want to charge higer for same brand panels and inverters.Install went smoothly and we are very happy. Now we are looking forward to the reduced electricity bills.

Pleasant Journey to the Solar World
Not only got the best price for good quality equipment but the salesman was not pushy and did not call me every 2 minutes to see if I would go ahead with a quote.Installation - went well. Installers turned up early, did the job and took all the packaging with them.
They also organised connection and now system is up and running.

Flexible sales process, descent price for the system, professional installation.
sales and quoting process was fast and the sales guy was flexible. Price and system options and configuration changes were dealt with quickly.There was a little radio silence after paying my deposit, a little longer than I had been told. Once communication was re-established we moved on quickly to installation.
The installation was fast and clean, and the installer was very friendly and took the time to talk about the system and his install process. He didn't leave a mess and the cabling looks neat and tidy.
Solar Chief did submit something to my retailer about the solar install, but I assumed I was responsible for that part so I contacted them anyway to advise that I had solar.
Overall I didn't go with the lowest or highest price or system configuration, but I am happy with what i was sold and the quality of the job.

Great deal and good customer service, but poor communication.
We got a great EOFY deal for a 10kw system with Jinko panels and a Goodwe inverter. Essentially, everything was done smoothly and the few hiccups encountered were dealt with well (mainly issues with the loan company). However, I was left in the dark a number of times I.e. expecting calls and updates that never came which took an annoying amount of time and energy to chase up.In the end, the panels turned up unexpectedly and a few days later the installation team turned up unexpectedly. They got the job done and it all worked out, but I had to change my days plans to accommodate this. It was frustrating to not be kept in the loop.
We have an app that keeps us informed of energy production which I am finding helping. We'll see how it's all performing in another 10 years and drop another review.
Overall, I believe we got value for money. However, I would've been happy to pay more for better communication.

Very Pleased
I had a 6.6kw ,15 panel system installed by Solar Chief recently. The initial sales and quotes where very quick and easyand the price was fantastic, the contact's name was Robin, who not not only vey informative but always courteous and has a very good knowledge of Solar Systems and the who industry at large. He called me numerous times to assist me with my initial installation enquires and walked me through the process on how to set up the SHINE APP to be able to monitor my new systems power generation. The system is up and running, the installation was completed in a quick and professional manner. I highly recommend Robin and the Solar Chief team.

Solar Chief installers were good
I had a good experience with Solar Chief. They offered a good price and the installers were respectful and did an excellent job. They pointed out areas of the roof that my builder had not done flashing for and I had my builder come back and do it. It was nice they did that, they didn't have to.They explained about the inverter and the app and got it all connected for me.

Nice install at good price
Sales & Quote process good and friendlyInstallation was totally professional
All contact with Elec retailer to get smart meter installed done, but retailer dragging it out it will be two months from install before smart meter is installed so no feed in credits.
As I have found 13cents feed in per kWh I will move, especially after the slow upgrade.
What happens re grid after this I don't know if more is needed to be done.
I will get need to get app up and running to check usage, feed in and total gen.

Great Job, Neat Install, Good Value
Solar Chief were great to deal with, the initial consultation was informative and they offered sound advice on system components. There was no pushiness, they did not try to up sell and they were patient with my many questions. Once I had accepted the quote we agreed on a date for installation. Solar Chief organised the contract letter with Ausgrid and arrived on time and proceeded with a top notch install - very neat and professional. Post install they spent some time with me giving me a rundown of the start up and shutdown procedure as well as connecting the analytics side of things. They provided the CCEW and Smart Meter forms for me to send to the energy provider post install. Very happy with the experience.

Great instilation of any product at a cheaper price\
I had one guy come to my house out of the quotes and he was nice but abit pushy on sales. He pushed for an Aussie system which he was the only one which was a good system but the price was too high. I found a guy that could do it and was advised by a friend from work about him.Inverter rating: 5/5
Good work
I am a complete new to solar power system. I received quotes from Solar Market. Solar Chief is the one very straight forward providing their best prices in many options in front of me. Their Senior Sales Consultant Bernard McCluskie who is very friendly introducing himself and starting to understand what I need. I also did my own research and all most happy with his options. His patience is very impressive to me and the final result is the one I can't walk away with. The installation team is also perfectly good. They are careful and in detail to complete their job efficiently than clean up the place.In my opinion, seller Solar Chief and the installer are trustable to considerable if you want a solar system.
