Great installer
The quoting process was straightforward and transparent, with no pressure and no surprises. Installation was well organised, the team was punctual and professional, and the system was explained clearly once completed. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish.21 February 2026
Great service all round Apollo Energy Solutions
Quoting and design process was really informative. Lewis listened to our views, concerns and requests, and addressed them, and was up-front about everything we should be aware of.The in-house Apollo installation team were punctual, unfailingly courteous, and tidy. They did a great job of fitting all our panels in the most productive orientation.
Customer service was great. They coordinated with our electricity company and provided a Level 2 electrician to update our old connection to the grid, and because we had to wait a few days for the smart meter to be installed by the electricity company, they showed us how to turn on the system, and because we were nervous of doing by ourselves, very patiently walked us through it over the phone at my request when the time came and explained what everything was and what it was doing - actually a very straightforward process when supported by Apollo, and we now feel confident if we ever have to shut down and start up in the future.
They also helped us get started with the app, and were monitoring our system remotely as we started up. It was really exciting to see it all working immediately, and knowing that Apollo will continue to monitor and address any issues increases our confidence. A great experience, and we know we made the right choice. Thanks Apollo, and thanks SolarQuotes.

Very happy customer!
Firstly I’d like to thank all the team at Apollo Energy Solutions for the fantastic job they have done from start to finish in regard to the installation in early December 2025 of my Sigenergy Inverter/Battery, Gateway, and Smartport which they AC coupled to my original SolarEdge inverter.My first interaction with Apollo was with Tom Turner, the very knowledgeable sales manager, who came to do the site inspection and discuss my options. What he didn’t know at the appointment, he followed up on and called me with the answers later that same day. After accepting their detailed quote (in preference to two other comparable quotes, one of which was from my previous solar panel installer) an install date was set. With an unexpected Sigenergy inverter recall announced, I contacted Apollo to see if this would delay my installation and was assured that no, they should have the new model inverter in stock and all would still go ahead on schedule. Jake from the office rang again later that day to reconfirm all would go ahead as planned.
On the day of installation, Hayden and Luke arrived on time and quickly and efficiently went to work. They were patient with my questions and did a first class job leaving everything neat and tidy. Hayden explained the workings of the Battery and Gateway, the emergency shut down procedures, demonstrated that the backup was working, and showed me the basic functions of the MySigen app before they left.
A week or so later I had some more app set up questions and rang the installation manager, Tom Schultz who spent a generous amount of time going through everything with me. Tom also came back to the house when a red light appeared on the old previously installed SolarEdge inverter and he was able to do some firmware updates and reconfiguration to sort out the problem. Luckily this small problem had no effect on the Sigenergy system, which has been working flawlessly since installation.
So after such a positive experience I would recommend Apollo Energy Solutions without hesitation. With their product knowledge, excellent communication, safe, efficient and skilled workmanship, competitive pricing and helpful after sales support they would have to be one of the best Solar energy companies in the business.

My solar experience
I organised a quote from Apollo Energy Solutions and solar specialist Lewis came out to my place, this guy knows his energy solutions ,I was sold on the quote and the installation was booked.The three man team turned up on time and on the day they were booked .The three young men are a credit to Apollo they were polite, very tidy and know their work - I cannot speak any higher of young Lachlan who installed my Sigenergy system and briefed me on what I need to know about it. One very happy customer and highly recommend Apollo Energy Solutions.06 December 2025

Sales and quoting was easy and informative.Installation crew were very efficient. They were very knowlegable and provided detailed answers to my questions.
Good cleanup after instalation including disposal of my previous system.
I did not had to access the grid for the first four days. Very happy.

Overall a wonderful experience.

Great communication. Quick, clean installation.
Quoting process was easy with Tom visiting to check suitable location for battery and inverter then providing a quote in a timely manner.Installation was delayed due to high demand and low stock availability. This was communicated clearly and an alternate install date was arranged and adhered to.
Installation was neat, no mess left behind. Tom paid me another visit to run me through the system and answer any questions I had.
Overall, I'm very happy with Apollo Energy Solutions.

Great installers, Great Experience
I finally decided to try Apollo Energy Solutions from the three solar battery suppliers recommended by Finn Peacock and very quickly Lewis arranged to visit to assess my needs and assist with what I wanted. He was informed, helpful and not pushy, so very good experience. The total price was under what I had estimated. Apollo Energy Solutions is based at Beresfield, just north of Newcastle, so fairly local to me.They can see my system operating and will take steps to resolve any issues. The fact they are only 17 kms away is excellent.
I signed up and was given a date for the install. A team of three arrived on time on the given date.
They said it would take about 6 hours. It took just under and the site was left immaculately. They were well presented, answered all questions, were polite, kept me informed as to what was happening. Asked permission to enter the house each time and were in no way intrusive.
The supervisor set up my digital monitoring system and ran me through it. He showed me the system operating and ran through safety checks carefully and repeated them. They made a slight alteration, at my request, in the case of blackouts which means I will have hot water if a blackout occurs - brilliant!
I am very pleased with the whole process from initial contact to switching on. I watched my digital display this morning and my battery is now 100% charged and exporting to the grid.

Great experience
A really great experience with the team at apollo. Jake talked me through the process and was available to help.out. got both a sigenergy battery and extra panels. Worked flawlessly so far. Installers were professional and took their time making everything neat and system is well installed. Ended up getting a geatpump installed as well and the whole team explained all stcs available and talked through the government rebates. Gave options for different battery types and install configurations. Would recommend.
Smooth process from first meeting through to installation
We chose Apollo Energy Solutions primarily because they came in person to view the site and discuss options before quoting. That gave us the opportunity to clarify a few aspects before committing. The quote we received was comprehensive and realistic; it gave us the best balance between generation and storage, as well as being competitive. The installation team was punctual, polite and professional, and the installation itself went smoothly, even with a minor adjustment due to some unforeseen mounting issues with one of the panels. They thoroughly explained the system as well as how to use the accompanying app, and left the work site neat and tidy. They highlighted some damage on one of the protective bollards in front of the battery and were back with a replacement inside a week. Very satisfied.Battery rating: 5/5
