Honey Solar - Highly Recommend - Calm and Patient!
Huge thanks to Ellie, Arthur, and the team at Honey Solar. We were organising a replacement solar system for my Dad, and his requirements changed a few times throughout the process. Ellie was incredibly patient, helpful, and always willing to work with us to find the right solution. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and everything was handled transparently with no surprises. It's refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely cares about its customers. Great service, great system
Sales were prompt, responsive, knowledgeable and courteous. Installers did it all in a day, even staying late (it was a large installation on a tricky site). They showed me everything I needed to know with the battery, PV and inverter.Panel rating: 5/5

Wonderful installer, helpful and responsive
Ellie at Honey Solar was wonderful at helping us to install our solar system and battery. We spoke to Ellie in March and had an install date booked within a week, in order to qualify for the rebates. Ellie patiently answered all my questions and was so helpful with advice. Kevin, who came out to install, clearly took pride in his work and thoroughly checked every part of the install during the day. Thank you Ellie and Kevin!25 March 2026
Fantastic installer, efficient, excellant and professional customer service
- Ellie provided professional and attentive customer service, came to us for an inspection and designed the system that perfectly works for us. Also, patiently answering all my questions and assisting with setting up the account and system, including the smart meter reconfiguration, after installation.- Kevin and the installation team were impressive, efficient, professional, and thorough in their work. They completed the installation to a high standard and took the time to patiently guide us through how to use the system.

Outstanding Company
I had 32 panels and a battery installed. Ellie was amazing. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She was patient enough to spend 2 hours on the phone with me explaining everything in detail. Their price was as good as other quotes without the pressure to sign up. The installers arrived well organized and prepared and did a good job cleaning up after themselves. The installation went very smooth with everything up and running immediately. I would highly recommend this company for the peace of mind.26 February 2026

From the first communication with Arthur and Honey Solar to the installation and after sales follow ups, they have been fantastic.They were the only one who asked questions and listened to our answers and offered a range of solutions.
They came to our home and made real world suggestions.

Trustworthy and efficient
Honey Solar are fantastic. I contacted a few places and they either don’t reply or reply days later.Got a new solar system installed recently to take advantage of the gov rebate. Ellie was fantastic throughout the whole process and is still on hand to ask any questions.
The team that installed the system were also amazing and worked throughout the day to get the system installed and also went through the whole system in detail.
I would highly recommend them if you are thinking about getting a new system.

Very efficient Installer
My contact with Ellie was very pleasant. She was very attentive to my needs and was very patient with all my questions. Their quote was very reasonable and they were able to arrange installation at very short notice.Installation was done in a professional manner by Kevin and I am very please with their work ethic. I would recommend Honey Solar to anyone who considers installing a home battery.

Honey solar were very good at tailoring the installation to my needs
Honey solar came to my house for an inspection and listened to my circumstances. They provided quotes for a number of options and Arthur provided a great analysis of my main energy problem, my ducted air conditioning system.I received two quotes, both were very similar, but I went with Honey because they seemed to have a better handle on what would and wouldn’t work.
The installation went ahead as promised and the job was done within a couple of hours.

Trustworthy, no nonsense company
Honey Solar put in the time during the sales process to explain everything in detail and answer our questions. Notably they were the only ones of the 3 we contacted who actually came onsite at the start of the process rather than just send a quote based on a look at Google Earth.They gave a range of options in price and brand, and helped us through the whole process of grid connection approval, prompt and courteous installation, and explained the app and usage of the system.

Brilliant installer
Very competitive pricing, great customer service from initial system design and throughout installation process. Always responsive to queries and requests along the way. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful sales staff. Installation professional and responsive to any challenges or changes required. Made the process easy and seamless took care of everything. After weeks of researching solar, getting quote after quote, and speaking to countless companies, I can honestly say choosing Honey Solar was one of the best decisions I've made.Like most people, I started by shopping around. I received everything from unbelievably cheap quotes to ridiculously expensive ones for virtually the exact same system. Throughout the process, I learnt a lot about the solar industry—especially how many companies outsource installations to inexperienced subcontractors or lure customers in with low prices, only to cut corners later. It can be overwhelming trying to work out who you can actually trust.
The moment I spoke with Ellie, the Senior Consultant at Honey Solar, I knew this was the company I was going to choose.
Not only was their pricing extremely competitive, but their professionalism, honesty, and customer service were on another level. Many companies justify charging premium prices by claiming they provide premium customer service, but I can confidently say I doubt many of them would match the level of support Ellie provided.
I asked countless questions throughout the entire process—often late at night, on weekends, and well outside normal business hours. Every single time, Ellie responded almost immediately, patiently answered every question, addressed every concern, and genuinely took the time to educate me about solar instead of just trying to make a sale. That level of dedication is incredibly rare these days.
If you're anything like I was—still shopping around, comparing quotes, worried about dodgy installers, inexperienced subcontractors, or paying too much for an inferior system—do yourself a favour and just give Ellie a call. You'll very quickly understand why I stopped looking elsewhere.
A huge thank you also goes to Kevin and the other installer who worked alongside him. They did an outstanding job from start to finish. Their workmanship was excellent, they took pride in what they were doing, cleaned everything up before leaving, and took the time to explain exactly how the system worked and answer all of my questions.
From the initial consultation through to the completed installation, the entire experience with Honey Solar exceeded my expectations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional solar company.
