Wonderful Team
Alex has assembled a wonderful team from office support through to installation. Pleasure to have them work at our place. No BS, no swearing, no loud music just got on with the job.And it all started with Alex himself. Just got a good feeling when he quoted and we weren't disappointed. Tanya in the office is a great asset and put us most at ease answering our questions.

Hi Cameron, thank you for the review and glad we could help.05 April 2026
Great installation, professional trades.
The team at Macdonald Air and Electrical were a pleasure to deal with. Alex was thoroughly professional taking into account my energy needs and installation requirements tailoring a quote for my install. The quote provided outlined all the services and cost and provided information about potential savings and environmental advantages in an easy to understand professional package. The installation was well executed with their in house trades (no subcontractors!) who were professional and punctual. My install involved replacing an older system so the commissioning process was relatively straightforward. All work was completed neatly and looks extremely professional.Alex went through the setup of the associated apps for my inverter and demonstrated changing to mains power in the case of an inverter fault (I have whole house backup). On the install date I opted for an additional module for my battery which was accommodated with no fuss. I would have no problems in recommending Alex and Macdonald Air and Electrical.

Professional from beginning to end.
I felt completely comfortable with MacDonald Air as soon as Alex arrived to give us a quote for solar panels. The installation went like clockwork and Alex’s team of charming young installers were totally professional, careful and polite during there time at our home. Keenan talked us through all the technical details advising us to call them if we had any problems. If you are looking for a no stress solar experience (as we were) the MacDonald team is for you!Supplier Reply:
