We pride ourselves on the fact that your solar system will be quoted, designed and installed by solar accredited and A-class licensed electricians.
We are extremely passionate about the renewable energy sector and with over 2 Megawatts worth of domestic installations, our experience is second to none.
Our staff will expertly design a completely customised system to suit your needs, and most importantly, the unique conditions of your property. We will conduct an in-person site visit allowing our designs to consider issues such as roof structure and access, roof pitch direction and shading. This ensures your solar system will work perfectly with your property, maximising energy generation potential, and that there will be no surprise costs or technical issues come installation time.
Our installations are all completed in house by our own accredited installation team. We do not use sub-contractors or unskilled labour.
By operating locally, quoting in person and avoiding sales staff without technical knowledge, we can offer extremely well designed and installed systems using high quality components at prices below most of our competitors.
We offer an interactive studio where our customers can come in and look over all of the components of their future solar installation in person.

8 Months in and great savings
Jaryd was great to deal with, he visited our home witch not everyone who quoted offered.We are 8 months in and very happy with our savings so far. It was hard to gauge the value for money portion of this review until now but I can certainly click the 5 star for this.

Solar journey

Efficient, Speedy and Cost Effective
Jaryd was very polite and a good communicator. He gave us informed and realistic expectations.The installers did a good job. At the end of a long day for the installers no doubt - we were left a bit uncertain about how to connect with the Inverter thru an app on our mobiles we needed to download as well as the process of contacting our energy retailer to request installation of the isolation switch and the provision of a new meter.
Jaryd filled us in on that later (the intsallation was on a Friday and he wasn't so well on that Friday either). When we were contacted by our energy provider, they attended and told us they would not be installing their new meter (or the isolator for that matter) because of "cotton covered" mains.
This means we have had to contact our own electrician to install the DV isolator which is added expense to us because the electricians from Origin Energy said "they won't touch it".
All that was unknown and would have been good to know before the event - an inspection of the power board and a warning that it was going to get complicated.
Still - we're happy with the job and the service !!

Highly recommend Oslec
Highly recommend Oslec for solar.They helped me understand what the best system for me was and quoted me a great price. Communication was fantastic throughout the whole process. Professional team and fun experience
The Oslec team were punctual, reliable and honest about the solar process which can feel a bit overwhelming. I was impressed with the initial quoting and integrity of Jaryd who sold me only what I needed and didn’t try and sell me more.The installation was excellent, they were on time and polite. They removed the old system for no extra cost (something the other companies charged for).
Once installed Jaryd was great at teaching me about the system and how to use it, getting me on the App and answering any questions I had. Even now after a month they are responsive to questions. They’ve been with me every step of the way.
The whole process has been fun, informative and friendly!!

Trusted website and solar installers
It is evident that Finn from SolarQuotes is a subject matter expert and his communication of solar systems to the lay person on his website is exceptional (trust me, communicating complex science in a simplified but accurate message to the lay person is a skill in itself). Moreover, his independent and unbiased vetting of solar systems and installers only benefits the consumer. I had 3 quotes for installation of a 6.6 kW system and all seemed to be highly competent with the products recommended by SolarQuotes but could only choose one for supply and installation. Also, SolarQuotes were excellent in providing additional and timely analysis and advice of solar plans from suppliers when I submitted for their independent analysis and recommendation. I chose Oslec Energy in Adelaide for the job. Jaryd, Simon and the Oslec Energy team (all qualified solar installers) were exceptional in face-face discussion of my solar needs with critical appraisal of the size and system needed based on historical electricity usage. The team were very professional in installation and spent the time to explain the process and data portal post commissioning. The team were excellent to have around the house during installation. I highly recommend Oslec Energy for supply of solar systems in Adelaide. Moreover, it is proof-of-concept that Finn and the SolarQuotes team vet and recommend reputable companies for supply and installation of quality solar systems. Their approach and business model ensures that rogue installers are eliminated from the market and the most competent solar suppliers and installers provide the best service to the client. Overall a very good experience
It was awesome to have solarquotes as a place to start. Salespeople from both companies we met with were impressive in knowledge and options available. Jaryd from Oslec was super helpful in answering our questions. I took a point off for installation as the installers were very loud and shouty when interacting with each other about stuff not related to the install which was annoying. They were otherwise fine in interactions with us and I assume they did a good job of the install.11 October 2023

Very Happy Oslec Energy Customer
Jaryd, Simon and the team at Oslec Energy were polite, professional and knowledgeable from the get go. I appreciated the way they listened to my needs and built a system accordingly. Jaryd even designed 3 different potential systems for me to help me make a decision. The installation was fast and efficient and they cleaned up as they went and after every day. Because I have 2 inverters Jaryd is working on a way that they can talk to each other for precise reporting and monitoring.10 months later we asked Matthew : "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes I believe so. I generate more than I use atm but as I transition to battery, EV, electric hot water and cooking and as the FIT gets fazed out I believe I will be in a good spot to be self sufficient30 August 2023

Highly recommended
Jaryd was really helpful in explaining all aspects of the system in person and questions relevant to talking to others providing quotes. His quote was provided quickly and we worked through additional options. The installation was arranged quickly. The team was punctual and professional. Jaryd has sorted everything out with my retailer and the system is going great.*My system is 11.2 not 10kw but the drop down doesn’t give me that option

Quick installers, good information of system.
Everything went well, tidy finish up, polite and informative electrician, good explanation of system which would best suit my needs by the salesman. Salesman will drop by later for checks on efficiency of unit.10 months later we asked Ian: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes, it has albeit a bit hard to decipher the data. WIFI has dropped out a few times causing a few data reading issues, but Oslec have been very helpful either by phone or dropping in when in the area.21 July 2023
Very well designed system and professional installation
Jarryd responded almost immediately to our request for a quotation, and then came to the house to clearly explain suitable systems for our roof design, and patiently and knowledgeably answered all our questions.Quotation was very competitive. Oslec is a local South Australian company which was important to us.
Extremely happy with the installation by Simon and his team - very neat and well laid out design.Solar production to date has exceeded our expectations, so more than happy.
The team arrived promptly at the time they stated, worked professionally and efficiently, and left no mess.
Our next-door neighbour made comment the following day on how polite they were! (We noticed that too!)
We had also requested a switch-board upgrade which was, once again, well designed and installed.
As the installation was completed just as the sun was setting they returned the following day to commission the system.
Jarryd did all the paperwork on our behalf and arranged for the grid connection (meter connection).

My own power plant!
Got a 6.6kw system installed November last year and just added a Tesla Powerwall.So far I have only consumed 6kwh from the grid in the last month

Ozlec solar
Great guys polite friendly cleanned up afterwards ... explained what they were doing. The rain today did not stop them from the job at hand, took shelter when needed would highly recommend to others arrived prompt on . We just built a house and wanted a 6.6kw system installed before we moved in. Oslec made it easy
Receiving a quote from Oslec Solar was a very easy process. I spoke to Jaryd in their shop on Semaphore Road and received an email the same day I spoke to him with lots of information about the solar panels and the pricing. The quote also included a plan for the panels on our roof.The team who came to install the system were very friendly and polite. They arrived on time and got straight on with the job. They left no mess, explained everything before they left, and answered any questions I had.
Oslec organised the grid connection, and that happened about two weeks after the installation.
I cannot recommend them highly enough, as the whole process was completely painless.
I love the app I have on my phone now that shows what is happening with the solar - it is very helpful.
If you are looking for solar in SA, definitely contact Oslec Energy.

Excellent Customer Service & Value for money - Quality all round!
Oslec stock and install only realy quality products, and you can tell that the quality flows through their whole business. Beginning to end it was a pleasure dealing with them.The quote documents they use are outstanding - showing all the ways i can save money and different energy comparisons. Then from quote to install, communication was great so i knew exactly what to expect and when. Delivery pretty fast - i thought i'd be waiting months, but not the case with these guys - we had the install scheduled within a couple of weeks.
On the day, the team were really friendly, professional and polite - always happy to answer my questions. It seemed like nothing was too much trouble. A really great group of guys.
I honestly didnt have to do a thing, the team took care of everything - so no need to organise anything after the install -it was all done for me.
To sum it up - they provide a quality, value for money product combined with an excellent customer experience from beginning to end.

Very happy!
I wasn't even planning on getting solar but having breakfast on Semaphore road a few months back I noticed Oslec Energy and took a flyer. Spoke with Jaryd who then ran us through how the system could benefit us. We felt very comfortable with Jaryd and the infomration provided. After the initial consult we did some searching and found the SolarQuotes website which also gave us the same information that Jaryd did.Installation was quick and the guys were very neat.
Long story short we are very happy with the outcome and after talking with our friends we got a great deal!

The sales/quoting process was comprehensive, efficient and appropriate. Technical information was provided as required for information and to help with decision making. The company representative was very well informed and attentive to my requirements without 'over selling'. I did not feel there was any pressure to purchase, it was my decision based on my requirements.The installation was efficient and trades person's working on the job were punctual and hard working, as well as tidy and respectful of my home and its surroundings.

Confusing process made easy.
We initially looked into solar a few years ago but didn't go ahead then as we were confused with all of the information and conflicting information.We decided to look back into it after getting a large energy bill. After contacting Oslec and Jaryd talked us through the process and answered all of the concerns we had previously, I felt very comfortable with the process at Oslec, the team were honest, polite and patient with us as we had more questions than most I think.
Install went smoothly, Simon and the team left the site looking like they were never there, apart from the solar system of course.

Great service
Oslec Energy were standouts in the quoting process. They provided the information I was after upfront in a timely way and were highly responsive throughout the process. I appreciated their candour and advice when discussing the best solar package to suit our needs now and into the future.Installation was painless, with the team arriving promptly, minimal disruption to my day, and they left the area clean and tidy. The panels look great on my roof!
Customer support is ongoing due to external delays in getting my meter updated and reporting back on generation/usage but I have high confidence that the system is doing what it needs to do currently and most importantly that I will receive timely and responsive support if that is not the case.

An excellent and pain-free process to upgrade our old system
Thanks to SolarQuotes for providing us with three excellent companies to deal with and quote on upgrading our 10 year old + 2.3 kW system.The standout was OSLEC Energy and we were impressed that it was actually the Managing Director of the small company that came out to see us, whereas the other two opted to provide quotes using NearMap in the first instance.
Jaryd from OSLEC Energy is a qualified Electrician and actually designs and installs systems. To us, this clearly gave him a considerable edge over the other two sales people, when explaining things and answering our questions.
After meeting with Jaryd he provided us quotes on budget, medium and high end systems and explained the pro's and con's of each one. He actually talked us out of the biggest system and installing a battery at this time and we opted for a 9.75 kW system.
We were happy to wait a month for the installation which commenced as planned and the installers were here at the arranged time. They stopped slightly earlier than planned on the first day, due to weather, but had already removed the old system and done a lot of the on roof work before finishing.
It had been planned as a two day installation but the following day (a Friday) was forecast to be wet. Rather than tie up the installers for Friday and the likelihood of them being unable to work, we were happy to have the job finished on the following Monday.
Monday saw the job completed and the three installers tidied up everything before leaving.
There was no need to organize the grid connection because we already had panels and a smart meter installed. They demonstrated the inverter, shut down procedure etc.
The icing on the cake was the first full day after the installation. On a winter's day with some cloud we produced 33 kWH, compared to the day before the installation when we produced only 1 kWH!
We highly recommend the professionalism of this small business.

Responsive and Tailored Solar Solution
Jaryd met with me early in the quote development process and provided patient and professional responses to all my solar system queries. Simon also addressed my installation concerns. This level of engagement gave me confidence that I would get a solar system installed to a high standard that met my needs.The installation process progressed in a quiet methodical manner over a two-day period. System handover and grid connection was also smooth.
Overall this was a very satisfying experience – one that I will happily repeat when I get a home battery installed in a year or two's time.

I feel so lucky that Oslec Energy was recommended to me by an elderly gentleman in my suburb.
I noted immediately that there was no pressure from the gentleman who came to quote the installation for me. He spent considerable time with me explaining everything that would take place if I chose to go ahead.. The installation was done within a week. Perfect service, advice and installation
Oslec was the only company that bothered getting onto my roof to measure before quoting. The guy doing the measure and quote was the guy doing the design and managing the installation.They listed to what my energy needs were and my desire to run more home automation, and my partner's fussiness on appearance and symmetry, and provided some options and advice regarding the system design.
Cheerfully worked around and coordinated with other trades as I was having my tiled roof repaired at the same time and to get the best outcome they put in the tile hooks for the racking before the roof was restored, so it looks even better. For the installation they also worked around wet weather and my household being Covid+ which delayed things unavoidably.
The installation is extremely tidy with no rats nest of wiring. Racking and conduit very neat even with end caps on the racks to keep animals out. The GoodWe 10kW 3-phase inverter is neatly lined up with my meter box with all wiring in the wall cavity.
With the monitoring system I can see what power I generate, consume and return to grid at all times, and this data means I can run home automation so I use appliances when I have the power to do so.
Cannot recommend Jaryd, Simon and team highly enough.

Outstanding company great customer service
They attended my property during the build to quote on time and very knowledgeable. I had the quote within the timeframe promised.The installation was faultless and on time. Old style tradesmen.
They contacted me after the installation to make sure I was happy. In the quotation pack was all the information I needed to arrange the grid connection. When I had issues with my electricity supplier they supported me through the process.
