Appalling warranty service
Updated 16/3/26An update to previous review
Today, 16-Mar-26, the problem was finally fixed. After logging a support ticket at SolarEdge with the history, I explained all attempts to communicate with Progress failed. They took a look straight away and, to quote:
"The installer Progress Electrical had replaced the failed optimizer but they had missed to replace in the monitoring portal. That is the reason optimizer was still showing faulty. Now the issue has been resolved."
And it was, so after about 8 months, something that could have been fixed in a morning was left to fester. All credit to Solar Edge for their rapid response. A good model for everyone to follow.
I would like to have been able to endorse the previous positive comments about PE here, but recent experience tells me otherwise. After recommending friends and family to PE, to the tune of six figures in revenue, my attempts to get PE to fix a minor problem under warranty has failed after 6 months of trying. One panel’s output failed, but it took several months of attempting to contact PE before anything happened (salesman responded a couple of times but warranty installation support is not in his job description). The company failed to respond to multiple messages – email, web site, phone etc., so I contacted Fair Trading who sent me to the Building Commission. They contacted PE and then SolarEdge who advised me in January that a replacement optimiser has been received by PE on Dec 3. When I reminded PE of this, a technician turned up unannounced one morning (he didn’t speak to me – I only knew of his visit from security camera footage). Regardless, the fault persisted after the visit and there has been no response from PE since.
I despair. When so many people depend on me for advice (I have an energy industry background) on who to contact for panels and battery, I now no longer mention Progress Electrical. Yet this is such a minor issue, it could have been resolved months ago.

Highly Recommended
I can highly recommend Progress Electrical and Solar as the process of getting a quote to installation was completed professionally.Mitch and his team removed my old system and installed a new 15kw system with batteries nothing was an issue.
Once finished all the rubbish was removed off site.
The Installation team had my system up and running the same day.
Mitch returned the next day to answer all my questions and explain how the Sigenergy App works.
Very happy customer.
