Tiger Solar Review
Tiger Solar Power were quick to respond to my request for a quote. They took care of all the documentation and quickly arranged installation. Everything was handled professionally. I would use their services again without hesitation.Inverter rating: 5/5

Amazing customer service, bit bumpy with getting system up and running
Sales were great. Answered all of my questions. Amazing customer service. We got install a month after we signed the agreement. Install guys were nice and left the place exactly as it was. We have had struggles connecting our battery to our wifi. Apparently this was something they knew this could have happened but didn’t tell us. We are still problem solving some issues with the system working more efficiently (firmware updates and restarts) but they have been so helpful and are working tirelessly to solve our problems (even over weekends). Couldn’t fault the service….maybe just the battery.07 January 2026
The whole team was fantastic!
Everything went really smoothly! They were excellent communicators throughout the whole process. The after care was also very welcomed as they explained things throughly and answered my questions. The install itself seems pretty perfect to me, all is working well :)14 December 2025
Great communication from the customer service team. Able to get a good product for a good price.
The quoting process was ok... got 3 calls but all 3 varied a lot in professionalism. I went with Tiger as they seemed most professional and I always felt that I knew what I was paying for. They stayed true to all their discussions/promises and overall i had a very good customer experience with them, this includes the installation.Inverter rating: 5/5

Excellent and reassuring all the way along
Spoke to Sam at the start and once I spoke to him I felt reassured and confident.Process was easy with nothing to do on my end.
Instillation was moved a day early as it rained and the installers were on a roof that day. I was rung and asked and it went well.
I would have like a walk through ( even virtual) at the end, but They have been excellent all the way along.
They were not the cheapest but I felt I trusted them more. (hence the 4/5 value for money)
I don't know about the system - it looks good but I believe there are more expensive and ?better quality? systems.
Installation was fantastic
Customer service was great but I would give them a 4.5 if I could but not quite a 5/5.

Poor customer service and technical knowledge - not recommended
Tiger solar reviewI met with a salesperson onsite and after discussing my wants and needs I paid a deposit for a 3 phase 25kwh 15kw battery with whole house backup the same day. The install was deferred by the installer a couple of times and eventually began 17 weeks later. Actual onsite portion of the install took 7.5 weeks from beginning the install to finally achieving the correct setup. A range of issues occurred including the following:
• No concrete slab or plinth was provided despite this being written in the quote. Compliant bollard install in my driveway wasn’t possible due to no concrete base or plinth being available to attach bollards to. Installer sought permission to move agreed install location to front veranda outside my bedroom window to facilitate their install process which I declined.
• I was told by onsite installer that whole house backup wasn’t possible with my existing switchboard and that I would need a switchboard upgrade at significant extra cost plus I wouldn’t be able to have my RCAC or electric cooktop/oven circuits included. I said I expect whole house backup as this was written into my quote and was the reason for getting a large system with 15kw inverter. I noted that my 3-phase switchboard was only 8 years old and in good condition. A couple of hours later the installer told me they had managed to wire it up for whole of house backup without requiring a switchboard upgrade.
• At the end of the day the battery was in place and the installer told me to install the app which I did but it wasn't showing any data except for battery charge. The installer said the battery was working fine but I just needed to look at the app for my preexisting solar to work out what was happening. While I waited for the app to update in 24 hours and begin working as promised the company called me for the first time and asked for payment the same day which I declined saying I wanted to confirm all was working correctly. After 24 hours there was no change to the app, and the app did not show any data (except battery charge). They argued that this constituted "working" and that the app wasn't their responsibility.
• The bollard was “installed” by being stood up in the driveway with the base covered in approx. 5-10mm of gravel. When I touched it to see how it was anchored it fell over. I moved it out of the way so it wouldn’t fall onto the battery.
• Installer returned a week later. After being onsite for the morning, the app still did not display data properly with the new additional problem of the battery system drawing approx. 300w from the grid at all times day and night and including when the home was producing solar and when the battery was supplying the home. Installer said this was the problem with me requesting “cutting edge” equipment (which their salesperson had recommended and sold to me).
• Some weeks later after several return visits monitoring via the app began working and I was able to identify that controlled load hot water had been wired into the battery such that it rapidly drained any remaining battery charge every night into the controlled load circuit from 11pm. I researched this problem and requested the CT clamp moved to prevent the battery seeing the controlled load circuit and emptying itself.
• Bollard was installed by installer next to the battery and not in front of it. Now the battery effectively protects the bollard from being hit by cars in the driveway which appears likely non-compliant (see pictures).
• After promising to move the CT clamp several times I was told by the installer that the existing configuration was standard practice and manufacturer specified and the battery could not be wired any differently despite the existing solar being wired like this. I called the battery manufacturer tech support, and they confirmed that moving the CT clamp was a valid and supported fix for this issue. I passed this additional info onto the installers.
• When the installer returned, he said everything was working fine and I asked if he thought it was fine that a 25kwh battery would be drained every night (~12kwh) by the controlled load hot water circuit (20c) vs power being available for me to use for standard (45c) tariff uses in the morning. He literally said he didn't think about those sorts of things.
• Eventually 7.5 weeks after the install was begun the installer returned and in approximately 2 minutes, I watched him move the CT clamp to the correct location to prevent it reading the controlled load circuit. At the time he did it the installer said this was against the specification and his wishes and that it wouldn't work and that I would have to pay more if I wanted any further visits. Luckily for everyone it’s still working today.
• Hours after every single visit to my home since the first day (approx. 10 visits in total) the install company called me and asked me to pay the full amount for the battery the same day. I politely declined every time pointing out the invoice stated pay in 7 days upon completion and I simply wanted to confirm the battery was working properly (i.e. install completed) before paying. Even after I had explained my position on this repeatedly the company continued to call me every single time, they visited my home insisting that all was fixed despite the battery obviously not working correctly.
All up I wish I hadn’t used this installer. I don’t believe they had good knowledge of this product or how to install it and when it was clear that it wasn’t installed/working correctly they weren’t interested in fixing it in a timely manner preferring to wait a week between each site visit and then gaslight me and blame me while asking for payment. I don’t think 7.5 weeks from start to finish is a reasonable time to complete a battery installation. I had to do significant research myself to identify issues with this install and seek out solutions which I provided to the installer. I don’t think I should have had to research issues for the installers and that they should have sought out the correct advice from knowledgeable people/tech support and also sent a more knowledgeable technician to fix it rather than gaslighting me. Hopefully there aren’t any problems with this system down the track, and the installer has learned something useful from this experience.
