Delivered exactly what I wanted

Quoting process was good. Clear on questions and understanding what I wanted. Explained the options well. Price was nicely competitive with the other quotes.
Team were really good. Professional, efficient, communicated well and cleaned everything up nicely. They went to the trouble of making a nice clean install.

A small step forward for mankind. A BIG step forward for me!

I has Clean Earth Solar install a 10kw system for me about a month back. It consisted of a swap-out of 4kw of very old panels and an old 'dumb' converter, to a brand new 10kw system supported by a 10kwh battery, and a smart Zappi car charger. The CES guys immediately got that my primary driver (as stated in the RFI) was to power my new EV off the roof. One other group failed to get this at all. and the other group proposed what I might call a Rolls Royce solution for a WV sized problem.
The CES lead (John) did a site visit - which led to an upwards adjustment of their original quote. BUT that I am glad they did this... a professional approach.
The install went very well, and was achieved in a very long word day. The one minor quibble I have is that the system only becomes operational, and they can only connect up the Apps that let you control the system, at the very end of the install. As a result I felt this stage was a bit 'rushed', as they wanted to get home after a very long day. That said, anyone who reads this should council their installer that they need a proper intro to the Apps, as in reality they are your interface with the system. I understand the installer focuses on the INSTALL, and getting it to work, BUT the end user (you!) need a good grounding in how to use the Apps.
Finally... was it worth it?? Absolute yes!!! So far my ev (77kwh battery) has been charged 100% off the roof. The 10kw house battery is generally filled by 10AM, so I am exporting several $ a day on most days to the grid. When I look at AGL's on-line system usage, in some days I'm importing around 01.c of power, and making maybe $5 / day.
To be honest, I am knocked out by what a success it is, as each fortnight it saves me $130 of petrol! I figure the entire system will pay for itself inside 4.2 years. So if you have an EV and good sun exposure, go for it! Original ratings

One year on - what have I learned?
- I started with a 10whh battery. After a few months (esp during winter) I realised that to be regularly self-sufficient I needed more, so upgraded to approx 16kwh. This for me was a winning formula'
- I am also runnning a 77kwh EV now, and the 24 panels / battery / EV / Zappi charger is proving a BRILLIANT combo. I still end up exporting quite a bit of power, for which I get not much $$$. BUT - I am saving around $300 / month in petrol, as I can charge my EV off the roof 95% of the time. The petrol savings almost pay for the whole system. PLUS I save on power.
- I also absolutely love the EV. 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 - what a car!
- I also managed to export a lot. I think in the last spring/summer quarter I exported around 2.8MEGA Wh of clean power to the grid, which is about enough to power another whole house! I get some cash back, and the planet benfits.

Great team doing great work.

Very quick responses during the quoting period. Very happy with the offered selection of products. The installation went like clockwork. All the install team were very professional, friendly and easy to get on with. I was told start time would be between 7 and 7:30 and they arrived at 7. There was lots of packaging and scraps from the install which was cleaned up afterwards and taken away. They organised the grid connection and walked me through the system and the app.

We recently had our solar and battery system installed by Clean Earth Solar, and I honestly couldn’t speak more highly of the experience.

From start to finish, the communication was outstanding. John was transparent, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. Every question was answered clearly and promptly, which gave us a lot of confidence before installation day even arrived.

On the day of the install, Joe and the team were fantastic. The installation itself was smooth, efficient, and very professionally handled. You could immediately see the pride taken in their work — the attention to detail was exceptional. Everything was neat, tidy, and thoughtfully laid out, with real care taken to ensure both performance and presentation were spot on.

The quality of the products supplied is excellent, and the overall system feels robust and well put together. What really stood out was the handover — clear explanations, proper walkthrough of the system, and making sure we understood exactly how everything works and how to get the most from it.

Great company amazingly easy to deal with.

John and his team were amazing to deal with. After my inquiry he called straight away to discuss my home battery and answered all my questions. He arranged a quote very quickly with multiple pricing options with various battery/inverter sizes, also got a matching EV charger.

Locked in an install date. They arrived on time and made sure I was happy with battery/charger location and hid all cabling in the wall.

I even recommended the same set up to my father.

Best quote, Amazing post job clean up

Just installed my solar & battery system on 21/1/26. A friend recommended Clean Earth Solar while I was researching & getting other quotes.
Their quote was competitive & John was overall prompt in reply. I had lots of questions & scenarios drawn out over a couple of months, which were answered patiently & efficiently.

Was taken by surprise how young the whole team were, but can’t fault their punctuality, work ethic & politeness in my dealings with Joseph, Noah & the rest of the team. The most noticeable is how clean they left the working area including wiping down the white battery units of dirt & finger marks. That is one of the more obvious & impactful impressions as a customer. I know this may not reflect workmanship but it’s a standout. Also patient with the after installation handover, explanations on the system & what happens next.

My friends who have had their systems longer than I have, had no issues & continue to have excellent after sales service.
I have no hesitation in recommending giving them a call if you are researching the solar or battery journey.

Super solar install

We were looking for the best choice for our solar panels and battery install. After getting a few quotes we went with Clean Earth Solar. We are very happy with the customer service we received before, during and after our installation and the competitive quote. From explaining in detail how the system works to having us up and running with the app to watch in real time what power is generated and in use. In the lead up to Install day there was great communication with day and time of install. On the day, the team were very efficient and did a great install job, and clean up. After install communication is great as well.

Solar Panel and Battery Installation

We recently had a solar panel system and home battery installed, and the entire experience has been outstanding from start to finish. The consultation was honest, clear, and informative—they explained the expected energy production, battery capacity, and long-term savings in a way that was easy to understand.

John, Joseph, and the installation team were professional, punctual, and respectful of our property. They completed the work efficiently, kept the wiring tidy, and walked me through how everything functions once the setup was finished.

Since the installation, the system has performed exactly as promised. The solar panels are generating a strong amount of power even on cloudy days, and the battery seamlessly stores excess energy. During the evenings and peak-rate hours, the battery automatically takes over, which has already reduced our electricity bills noticeably. The monitoring app is another great bonus—it shows real-time energy production, battery levels, and overall savings. We had a slight integration issue with our existing system, but John was extremely helpful in working to resolve it.

Very highly recommend

Had already had a couple of other companies quote on a system for us. Clean Earth Solar were significantly more competitive with their pricing, and there was none of the high pressure sales tactics we were getting from the other companies. CleanEarth Solar were able to provide same brand of panel, inverter, and battery as the other companies were quoting on, at a higher specification (more panels, larger inverter, more batteries) at a lower cost that the other quotes we had received.

Clean Earth Solar did a site visit during design stage (which other companies did not) and identified several issues which they were able to make suggestions to modify design to overcome and improve the outcome.

Installation day was a breeze, team on site very professional, efficient, neat, and made sure we were happy at all stages of the installation process.

Outstanding Service and a Seamless Solar Installation

I recently had solar panels and Batteries installed by Clean Earth Solar, and I’m extremely happy with the entire experience.

From the very beginning, John was prompt, helpful, and completely transparent throughout the quoting process. He took the time to explain every step involved, including the different system options along with their advantages and disadvantages. His clear communication made the decision-making process very easy.

Before installation, the team conducted a thorough site visit to ensure everything was suitable. They even gave me a heads-up about the need for new tiles and explained how the installation would work.

On installation day, the crew arrived right at 7 AM as promised. They were punctual, professional, and carried out the installation smoothly. The commissioning was done by a licensed electrician, who also walked me through the system in detail. He made sure the EV charger, solar panels, and inverter were all functioning correctly, and he helped set up the app to confirm everything was working properly.

After the job was completed, the team took care of all the cleanup, removing debris and leaving the area tidy.

Attentive and efficient. Worth every penny

The process from quoting to them showing me how my system worked was seamless. On a hot October day, the Clean Earth team descended on my property and got the 13kW, 10kW inverter, 24kWh battery install done in good time, taking no more then 7 hours to install on my two story house. They arrived on time, were polite and efficient, and powered through the heat. They patiently answered all my questions and ran me through how the whole system worked. The Clean Earth Solar guys provided a level of comfort from my initial sms requesting a quote where John asked me more questions than other installers who I had previously spoken with. He really wanted to know what my needs were and provided many options and guidance. Was not pushy.

Sales and quoting process was very quick, I got a call to understand my expectation and objective. I was given 3 options with different battery size. The whole quote was very reasonable compared to the brand and quality of the product, when compared to quotes that I received from other providers. The turn around time from first enquiry to getting the quote was very quick. They very patiently answered my queries regarding setup, stringing of panels etc. Once I accepted the quote, I was given a date for installation and there were no delays or postponements. A week before installation, they got in touch with me again, confirming the appointment and their tentative arrival time. On the day, arrived right on time, got to work, set expectation with me as in what they will be doing, what will be power down period etc. That helped me plan my time accordingly. once all the work was finished, they cleaned up all the waste and took everything with them. I did not have to do any clean up activity after they left. Everyone was extremely polite and respectful. Best solar installation

John and crew were fantastic simply because they done what they promised and follow through. They clean up after and being electricians know how to make the system blend in to the house features. The panels and the battery are well placed and compliments the design of the house.

I contacted John in mid -September about installing solar at my home in LIDCOMBE. The earliest date available was 28 November, but I asked to be considered for any cancellation spots. In the second week of October, I received an offer for an earlier install on 22 October - fantastic customer service!

The sales and quoting process was handled by email, very smooth and with no pressure. I felt comfortable the whole way through. After comparing quotes from other installers, Clean Earth Solar's price was very competitive and offered great value.

On installation day, John and his team arrived exactly at 7am and completed the installation by 12.30pm. The team was polite, professional, happy to answer questions, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.

Post-installation, Clean Earth Solar organised the grid connection and helped me set up the monitoring app on my phone, taking the time to show me how to use it.

Excellent experience from start to finish - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Superb installation, efficient communication, best pricing and outstanding aftersales service

Spent three months researching and getting quotes from multiple installers but Clean Earth shone through as hands down the best installer by any measure. John Park the Director was the most prompt in his response and organising a site visit. Incredibly he also offered us an installation that happened 10 days after the initial quote which no one else could offer in addition to the best pricing which was the icing on the cake! John and his excellent crew; Joseph, Louie, Sebastian, Noah and Ryan turned up on time on 30th July 2025 on what was a dreadful day weather wise and carried out the installation efficiently, cheerfully and with good humour in spite of the weather. They carried out a clean, tidy and professional installation and organised all the paper work and grid connection required. We went for maximum panels on the roof using 31 (475W) Aiko panels to give us a 14.725 kWh Solar System coupled with a Sungrow 10SHR Inverter and 19.2 kWh of Sungrow Battery Storage. Also ordered a Sungrow EV Charger for future use which was installed a month later just in time for the EV we purchased. We also added an IStore Heat Pump separately which has been a great addition in energy savings and the efficient running of our system. John has always been on hand and/or visited to provide us with answers to any queries we have had or fix any minor teething issues promptly. This support has been ongoing and we really value this service as it was a steep learning curve for us. We are happy with our system which works brilliantly, with all our energy needs being fully met, no more electricity bills - or very minimal! Also pleased to be doing our bit for the environment to reduce the effects of climate change. Highly recommend John and Clean Earth for the best value Solar System in every aspect. Seamless installation

John was very responsive. I enquired late Monday night, and he rang first thing Tuesday morning. He was very patient as we had a lot of questions and changed our minds regarding the battery a few times. However, he was not pushy, polite and allowed me to make decisions in my own time.

The morning of the installation, John and the team was punctual, right on the dot! So impressed. They were polite, efficient, professional and extremely tidy. Everyone had a job, and they left the place clean and tidy.

After the installation, John stayed behind to help us connect to the app, and explained the screen on the app. He went through everything with us and organised everything.

Can't find any faults with the process.

Very easy to get a competitive price. The only installer that listened to me about where I wanted the solar panels. Other installers were not interested. Solar and 48kw battery system linked to an existing solar set up. Work was completed in one day and looks great. Very happy with the system.

Couldn’t be happier with John and the team at Clean Earth Solar. From quote to install was pain free even with me changing my mind with things multiple times and John adjusting the quote to suit me best and my future needs. On the day of install the team were efficient, tidy, on time and smashed out the removal of my old system and the install of the new one which just goes to show their knowledge and experience is excellent. Great Install by Clean Earth Solar

Clean Earth Solar installed my 13.3 kW system today and they did a fantastic job. They were on time, very courteous and professional.

The team were super efficient and did an excellent install for us. Joe was very knowledgeable and helpful with all the information and intel that I need to get the most out of my new solar system.

In terms of affordability compared to other installers, I would say that I'm very happy that I chose to go with Clean Earth Solar, instead of some of my other local installers who were charging considerably more for the same installation and products.

I did a lot of research on installers and products and I'm very happy to have had Clean Earth Solar to set me up.

Again, everything was very satisfied with Clean Earth Solar

Not long after upgrading the solar panel, AGL raised electricity rates and lowered solar feed in tariff significantly, so I had no choice but to consider installing solar batteries. Like before, I contacted several companies for a quote, but again, Clean Earth Solar offered me the best price and good configuration.
I installed a 32kw battery system last week. As expected, the Clean Earth Solar team completed the installation neatly and reliably, and introduced me to a level 2 electrician that is good for removing Off-peak hot water system meter that is no longer needed. These days, I am very satisfied with using electricity because I am completely independent of Grid. As I did last time, I highly recommend Clean Earth Solar once again. Hyun
