Based in Cairns, East Coast Energy Solutions (ECES) is a locally owned electrical and renewable energy company specialising in solar, battery storage, EV charging and off-grid energy solutions throughout Far North Queensland.
With more than a decade of experience, ECES has grown from a local electrical and solar contractor into one of the region’s most experienced renewable energy providers, delivering everything from residential solar and home batteries through to large-scale commercial, government and remote-area energy projects.

Great product and service
The quoting process was seamless, and all my questions were answered. The installation was fantastic, the guys were friendly, polite, punctual and cleaned up after themselves. They were able to organise the phase reduction and run through how the system worked. I would definitely recommend East Coast Energy Solutions.Panel rating: 5/5

Fantastic system and quality install
The guys were punctual, efficient and did great job under pressure - we were scheduled for 28 April, so any issues or delays could have potentially meant missing the May 1 rebate deadline, but all was done on time. The quality of install - particularly the neatness of the conduits - was impressive.Panel rating: 4/5

Outstanding experience
Excellent communication by the East Coast team. When parts didn't arrive, they let me know, they were accommodating with the installation date due to my work roster. The installers were polite, professional and cleaned up everything before they left. Very tidy and neat install.

A good company to deal with
Quick and professional job. The team were here on a wet day, but worked through the weather regardless. The quotation and installation process was easy for us - and they cleaned up after themselves as well.14 December 2025
Battery installation by East Coast Energy Solutions
Ease Coast reviewed our existing Solar Panels and usage and tailored their recommendations for Battery Storage. They presented their quote in a clear and easy to understand manner, addressing our queries and concerns promptly, with understanding.With consultation the installation date was postponed at our request due to Dan having surgery.
East Coast contacted us again to confirm a rescheduled installation date within the time period that we requested.
Installation was carried out on the day and time specified, with efficiency, leaving our garage clean and tidy. Chris explained and demonstrated the setup and operation.
In addition, when we contacted Chris the next day with a problem regarding the Solar.web app he was able to get it sorted for us promptly (within half an hour).
Have already recommended this company to family and friends.

Great to deal with. Really great install team. Very helpful all round.
The sales and quoting was professional and helpful no matter how many times I contacted them for information.There was never any pressure to select one system over another, just helpful advice.
The install crew was punctual, efficient and tidy. They were very accomodating to my requests regarding me cleaning, replacing rusty screws and repairing minor damaged paint under the old system that was being removed prior to the new system install. I was shown the way the new system was setup and connected to the main switchboard and how to shutdown and reboot the system if ever necessary. It was explained to me how to set up the password for the first use and shown how the system appears in the online app.

The service was good installation works well. Was good with communication while installing.Did not go through the app at end to understand solar usage
Did register with Ergon for phase change over but finished the job before Ergon completed phase work ?
So far solar and battery are working well
