Really happy we chose Ethos Electrical

Great sales process, efficient install, average customer service
*Sales process*- Steve in sales is excellent and talked through the requirements for my system (including needing a large three-phase system to deal with ducted air-conditioning, etc.). Steve continued to check-in and make sure that the process was going well from my side, without pressuring for a sale.
*Installation*
- Team on-site were generally professional, punctual and tidy. The system was installed in a visually pleasing manner. However, a significant amount of discarded materials were found in the guttering on the roof following the install, a tool was left behind and battery commissioning was not complete on the day. Various warning stickers on the battery fell/peeled off the wall within a couple of weeks.
*Customer Service*
- Beware, there is no company administration phone number - all calls are via a manager which causes problems if he is on leave or busy. Given this install had complex issues which needed resolving, They needed to be prompted each time to give more information, rather than ever proactively returning with an update. I don't know where the problem was in getting the system working correctly, but it took 8 weeks, hours of phone calls, a lot of blame between parties and too much wasted energy to get to a satisfactory operating state.

Dudes were super friendly,helpful and even after install have been quick to respond to questions highly recommended!
App is a lot to learn but have been very helpful with all stages which has been great!!

Amazing experience. Fantastic team.
From day one I was very happy and impressed with the team from Ethos Electrical. This was the first time I entered the world of solar and batteries, and basically I knew nothing. Everyone I spoke to gave me fantastic advice and information, no matter how many questions I asked.The reasoning for recommending the brand of solar panels and batteries was very well explained. They thoughtfully considered our situation and gave us every possible option in terms of the size of the system installed. They also provided great information on the system and the potential change in our energy use based on our actual current usage.
The installation process was excellent. The installers were extremely professional, tidy and punctual. Nothing was left behind, not even the smallest cut of wire. They explained what was happening in layman’s terms and gave us all the information about the workings of the system after they finished.
Overall, an excellent experience. I would highly recommend talking to the team at Ethos Electrical.

Professional
The sales and quoting process was good, after some prompting. The installation date was changes twice after rthe original date, I realise that solar/battery/electricians are very busy. The Ethos website states that they do not use sub contractors which was a drawing point for me however the installer was a subcontractor and friend of Mitchell the owner of Ethos Electrical. The installation of the GoodWe ESA system was completed in a day, the property was left clean and tidy. The handover was not good, the installer was showing me the switchboard with his torch as it was dark and left me in the lurch re how the system works. I rang Ethos the next day, Thursday, and arranged for Mitchell to visit our property the following Monday. Mitchell was with us for over two and a half hours, was patient and answered our questions. I subsequently had three further phone calls which Mitchell cleared up. He “ saved the day “. I’m 76 and my wife 80. We’ve only had the system for 4 weeks and everything seems to be working. We are awaiting our power bill.

Great installers at even better value
Steve was fantastic in working with me to look at options for adding a battery to my existing solar set up and build out a few quotes at different price points, including options to add EV charging.Josh & the team arrived on time as agreed, removed the old system, and had completed the full installation by midday with the only hiccup a slight garage re-arrange to provide enough wall space.
Once installed, I was given a walkthrough of the app and the off-grid capability of the system as well as the EV charger.

Really appreciate Steve took us through the whole process of understanding and learning about panels, invertors and solar batteries.
Steve patiently took us through the process in knowing what we need and quoted us best price. He answered all our questions that came up as we learned about project and we decided on Ethos Energy.20 December 2025

Polite and professional installation service of solar panels and battery. Arrived on time and completed within a few hours.Organising mobile app required post installation, Fully functional within two weeks.

Great value system
Apart from early communication being poor, our installation was brought forward by 3 weeks and could not have gone better. The installers were polite not just to me but to each other which l was impressed with. The grid connection was instant as we had a smart meter and Josh gave me a good rundown of the system. Access via the app showed clearly what was coming in and being used by our house. I highly recommend Michael’s team.

what customer service!
installer arrived two hours early to booked in 9am appointment time, on a public holiday.rushed everything, did not finish install as our internet connection was down. after serveral calls to efs office and installerand installer mitchell plkmaui and salesperson nigal austin for help. they did not help organise the grid connection on first install we were sent an email to do this ourselves, email was from mitchell.
finally they sent another installer back to our address four days later after more calls. a different installer returned to finish he was in a hurry to get to another booked job. he advised to call efs solar for any further information.
any advice or help with an electriciry plan after install would have been really helpful.
