Detailed quote gave me lots of optionsDiscussed what options could/couldn’t do
After quote confirmed communication was excellent with booking in installation kept me up to date on double confirmed installation date onsite team ran me through products installed how to use logins ect

Amazing experience. Fantastic team.
From day one I was very happy and impressed with the team from Ethos Electrical. This was the first time I entered the world of solar and batteries, and basically I knew nothing. Everyone I spoke to gave me fantastic advice and information, no matter how many questions I asked.The reasoning for recommending the brand of solar panels and batteries was very well explained. They thoughtfully considered our situation and gave us every possible option in terms of the size of the system installed. They also provided great information on the system and the potential change in our energy use based on our actual current usage.
The installation process was excellent. The installers were extremely professional, tidy and punctual. Nothing was left behind, not even the smallest cut of wire. They explained what was happening in layman’s terms and gave us all the information about the workings of the system after they finished.
Overall, an excellent experience. I would highly recommend talking to the team at Ethos Electrical.

Professional
The sales and quoting process was good, after some prompting. The installation date was changes twice after rthe original date, I realise that solar/battery/electricians are very busy. The Ethos website states that they do not use sub contractors which was a drawing point for me however the installer was a subcontractor and friend of Mitchell the owner of Ethos Electrical. The installation of the GoodWe ESA system was completed in a day, the property was left clean and tidy. The handover was not good, the installer was showing me the switchboard with his torch as it was dark and left me in the lurch re how the system works. I rang Ethos the next day, Thursday, and arranged for Mitchell to visit our property the following Monday. Mitchell was with us for over two and a half hours, was patient and answered our questions. I subsequently had three further phone calls which Mitchell cleared up. He “ saved the day “. I’m 76 and my wife 80. We’ve only had the system for 4 weeks and everything seems to be working. We are awaiting our power bill.

Great installers at even better value
Steve was fantastic in working with me to look at options for adding a battery to my existing solar set up and build out a few quotes at different price points, including options to add EV charging.Josh & the team arrived on time as agreed, removed the old system, and had completed the full installation by midday with the only hiccup a slight garage re-arrange to provide enough wall space.
Once installed, I was given a walkthrough of the app and the off-grid capability of the system as well as the EV charger.

Really appreciate Steve took us through the whole process of understanding and learning about panels, invertors and solar batteries.
Steve patiently took us through the process in knowing what we need and quoted us best price. He answered all our questions that came up as we learned about project and we decided on Ethos Energy.20 December 2025

Great value system
Apart from early communication being poor, our installation was brought forward by 3 weeks and could not have gone better. The installers were polite not just to me but to each other which l was impressed with. The grid connection was instant as we had a smart meter and Josh gave me a good rundown of the system. Access via the app showed clearly what was coming in and being used by our house. I highly recommend Michael’s team.18 September 2025
Good Value for Money & Quality Installation.
The initial Sales/ Quoting process with "Abraham" was very good, however communication was fairly tardy and this stopped completely after installation as we tried multiple time to follow up the pending installation of the Tigo Monitoring System & access to their App .The Tradesman were punctual, polite, clean up after themselves & provided a high quality Installation, however their knowledge of the Tigo Monitoring system & the included App (we paid an extra $1,000 for this to obtain a 25 year Guarantee to 14 x Tigo Optimisers attached to each panel) is very poor, as it was immediately apparent that this company had never installed this system beforehand (The Tigo Monitoring System still doesn't talk to/ link to our Sigenergy App which were originally told that this would happen).
Panels, Invertor, Optimisers and the Solar system commissioning was completed on Monday 28th July 2025 and the Tigo Monitoring App was only completed on Tuesday 16th September 2025.
When our 47 cent feed in tariff stops in July 2028 and we need to upgrade our Solar System (will purchase more Panels and at least 3 x Batteries) we're not confident that Ethos Electrical will respond to further communications from us.

Dudes were super friendly,helpful and even after install have been quick to respond to questions highly recommended!
App is a lot to learn but have been very helpful with all stages which has been great!!
