Great service
Pressure free sales, only sales team that assessed my usage prior to quoting. On install day the team were friendly and professional and complete the whole 32 panel and battery install in 1 day. Would recommend Great White Solar to anyone on the mid north coast.24 February 2026
Everything anyone would want in an installer
From initial contact to post installation, we have nothing but praise for Great White Solar.They were one of 3 quotes we received and from the time of their first site visit we knew they were a business that was a cut or more above the rest.
Their recommendations and the options they offered were clearly explained. Although not the cheapest of the quotes they showed us the value in purchasing high quality components.
The installation was exceptional, done in a day and the site left clean and tidy. We were shown how the system functioned and how to navigate around and use the app.
Post installation they have been very prompt in answering some minor questions we have had.
If all contractors performed with such professionalism, courtesy, knowledge and efficiency we would all be much better off.

Excellent
Everything was very good - from initial consult to the final explanation of the app.The install work was very neat and finished in a day.
Great White Solar was very prompt in returning calls and every person I spoke to was very polite and helpful.
The grid connection was explained, and I was given a run through of the app.
What more can I say--excellent from start to finish.

Fantastic Installer.
Fantastic installer. Worked with us for installation date. Completed a big job all in one day, big effort. Smooth installation, perfect commissioning. Stayed in touch after install to check if we had any questions.No complaints, worked well as a team.
The quote system was professional, very detailed, allowing us to fully understand exactly what would be delivered. This included. Components and services fully detailed.
They tidied up after the job. Worked with us on the day to find the best position for batteries, gateways and chargers.

A Great Team
The team were great to deal with. They gave an honest appraisal of what was needed when our old system broke.They didn’t try to sell us the biggest system, just what we needed. The installers were a lovely group of men who worked hard and who were a pleasure to have working in our home. No questions went unanswered and they were very patient with us. Great install of a good quality product.
The sales/quoting process was straightforward, no-nonsense and thankfully free of "sales pressure". GWS visited and did a proper on-site assessment and provided two different install options with lots of detail for us to consider, and were happy to spend half an hour on the phone answering our follow up questions.Installation day went very smoothly despite a late change in the location for the battery and a couple of grid-related issues that got sorted with a minimum of fuss. The installation team were very well organised, each person seemed to have a specific role that they knew how to do properly. At the end of the day the system was fully operational, no mess left behind, and the team gave us a run through the system, and through installing and using the related mySigen app.
Customer service was fantastic in terms of returning calls and correspondence both pre- and post-installation. We've been really impressed with GWS and would recommend them to anyone considering a solar system. We'll certainly be contacting them in the future if there are any issues or if we are looking to expand or make changes to our system.

Perfectly Professional
A great company with excellent customer service. On time and on budget. Great liaison between office staff, installers and ourselves. Installation done over two days despite the heat. The installers were friendly, polite, professional and left the place spotless. Led from the front by the Director Alex, who unlike other companies, visited the property before quoting. Great service from Great White
Very happy with the whole process of getting a battery for our solar system. No heavy handed sales tactics just facts and options. They gave us realistic expectations of the timeline for installation and stuck to it. The price was very competitive and we got our 24kw sigenergy battery. Alex, Mel and the team were superb for us throughout. They were the only company who came out to site to quote, which worked well for us as we had a few unique constraints. Pricing was competitive and they took the time to talk through our situation to ensure we were getting what was right for us. They worked with us on alternate location for the solar panels, were flexible with an install date to suit us, installation was fine with a friendly and communicative crew and followed up after install to ensure all was well. We came back for seconds
Alex spent time with us to understand what we were trying to achieve with the extension to our solar power. Despite the change in suppliers they managed the process of procurement, came back with a different approach that in the end gave us a better answer for about the same money. We already had an adequate array and this gave us panels that give us another couple of hours and enough battery to charge our electric car even on a cloudy day. They were responsive to questions and issues and flexible when it came to the timing of the install so that our busy schedules were not interupted. Please note that we have just upgrateded a system that is 4 years old and the review of Great White is primarily about the upgrade but they have been looking after the system for us for a couple of years.Panel rating: 5/5
