Fantastic sales to installation service

Great price, great quality, great installation.

Resh is always very quick to reply to emails and was very helpful answering my questions.

The guys who came out to install the system did a great job. The were respectful and tidied up the mess afterwards.

My solar panels look nice and tidy and pumps out plenty of power.

I received multiple quotes via the Solar Quotes website and Online Air and Solar provided me with a better system for a cheaper price than their nearest competitor.

I'm very confident in recommending Online Air and Solar. I have encouraged my friends and family to get a solar system through them too

Excellent installer that met all of our requirements and provided the ideal system for our home

Terrific experience overall. Quote provided quickly, with a number of options that met our requirements at different price points / sizes appropriate to our new build roof size / orientation. Installation was prompt, efficient and unobtrusive with the site cleaned up very quickly. All installer personnel were extremely helpful in providing guidance around how to use the system, providing ad hoc assistance with setting up monitoring system and apps, and the system has been functioning well without any issues since installation. Despite the intervening Christmas break, grid connection was up and running very soon after installation as well.

Remarkable Installation Team & Reliable Customer Focused Installation Company

My experience with Online Air and Solar was smooth and professional. The installation day was remarkably efficient and well organized. The crew arrived punctually and immediately got to work. They were professional, skilled, and clearly worked well together. What impressed me most was their attention to detail, they took great care in the placement of the panels and the wiring, ensuring everything looked neat and was installed correctly. We were kept in the loop at every step, from the scheduling of the installation to the final inspection. Any questions we had, both before and after the installation, were answered quickly and thoroughly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and customer focused solar installation company.

Very happy

Really happy with the whole process from start to finish house was looked at to maximize the full range of sunlight for the panels and insulation was integrated as to not show any cables as fuse box. Is next to front door and also inverter was hidden in my garage . All work was carried out very professionally and no mess or anything was left behind completed as advised all in one day price was very competitive will and have recommended them to who ever asks me about my solar installation

Ongoing problems and no customer service

My solar was installed by Online Air and Solar in Dec 2024. They installed 18 panels when I was quoted for 20 and after a lot of emails they finally offered me $260 in compensation for the cost of the missing 2 panels. Im still trying to get compensation for the labour componant that I had paid for four months later The installers damaged some garden lights and although Online Air and Solar said they would pay for repair, after dozens of emails they just keep putting it off (still no payment after four months). I have been chasing the certificate of electrical safety which I finally got after 4 months of emailing them. Now 4 months later all my solar feed in stopped (its been down for 3 weeks) because they took so long to submit all the paperwork to United Energy. I tried to work with them. I have pleaded and begged to get some sort of help and action. I hate leaving negative reviews but I have given them four months to fix things and they just refuse.I would not use them again

The refund has been made to your bank account last week and we will proceed to submit the grid connection application now the issue has been closed.

Great System, poor after sales support

Online Air and Solar have a great sales person in Resh - he was informative and gave good information. We arrived at a well priced solar and battery setup after extended consultation.

The installation was challenging as I have vaulted ceilings with exposed cedar timber beams and ceiling boards, we didn't want screws damaging the ceiling.

We had a couple of screws come though, which were promptly removed while the installation team was on site. A third screw was missed and only picked up by us after the installers left. (I think it was put in on the second day)

This is where the wheels have fallen off. It took multiple phonecalls by me, visits by technicians and mis bookings onto public holidays to rectify the screw, which ended up only being about 30 minutes work to fix. I spent far more time on the phone explaining the issue and organising a booking than the rectification physically took.

The installation was completed prior to Christmas 2024 yet it's now late April 2025 and I'm still waiting for my grid feed in to be approved and my smart meter to be activated, after multiple emails by myself to see what is going on. Zero initiative or communication from Online Air and Solar to finish the job,

Many of the issues I believe can be sheeted home to the company seeming to have outsourced their bookings and after sales support handling to an offshore call centre in SE Asia (the Philippines)

The system itself is functioning well (Tesla Powerwall 3 with 13 kW of solar) but the missteps in after sales support do not fill me with confidence over the long term. With free energy during the day and cheap over night rates the battery will charge off the grid if it needs to.

During the time of your installation, our in-house admin customer support team was temporarily unavailable due to a staff member being on maternity leave. To ensure we could still offer assistance, we partnered with an external customer service provider as a short-term solution. Highly Recommend – Professional and Seamless Experience

I recently had a 10kW Solar PV system with a 12.8kWh Sungrow battery installed through Online Air & Solar, and the whole experience has been exceptional from start to finish.

A big thank you to Resh, the Sales Manager, for his professionalism, clear communication, and guidance throughout the process. Also a special mention to Leonara, who was super efficient in coordinating all the arrangements and keeping everything on track.

The installation team, led by Branden, did an excellent job—punctual, tidy, and very knowledgeable. The system was installed smoothly and looks fantastic.

Very happy with the quality of the system and the customer service. I would definitely recommend Online Air & Solar to anyone considering solar and battery solutions.

Best installer for solar/battery, AC and hot water

Sales contacted me and came on premise to do inspections and provided a price competitive quotes for all three systems.

The installation was completed by professional technicians who were polite, hard working and did a great job installing the solar, battery, AC and heat pump.

Customer service was fantastic, they arranged everything from scheduling installation time, grid connection, rebates and invoicing.

Great Service and knowledge

Resh, the Sales Manager gave great personal service and knowledge.
The installation team was good too.
However, the accounts team “let the side down” with their constant harassment of the amount to be paid, when it had clearly been stated, it was NOT to be paid until after the pre- installation site visit date.
They backed off when I got cross with them, but I didn’t appreciate getting several “overdue invoice emails”!!

Timely Install with great after service.

I seek Online Air Solar help to install a 6.6 kw system - String inverter with power optimisers.

Sales Process, application and Pre-installation was very smooth, and done in a very short timeline (e.g. installation was able to be booked on the same day we received approach from Solar VIC for installation date the week after)

Installation team was punctual with employee of online air & solar (no subbies), and done cleanly.

Post Install, i noticed a scratch in one of the panel, and contacted online air solar for assistance. The panel was promptly replaced without hassle.

Efficient and good value

There was a glitch with the quote but, ultimately, the company absorbed the cost associated with an error in one of the quotes provided. The team showed up when they said they would, kept me informed when the power was going off and operated professionally.

Very happy with our solar

Our system is working well and was installed quickly and in the time frame promised. The workers were punctual, were pleasant on site and cleaned up well. The lead installer took us through downloading the app and explained how the inverter worked. So far so good.
Our only criticism was the time it took for the office to follow through to organise the grid connection. Install was on 22/1. The compliance inspection did not occur until 5/2 (the day after we had telephoned to ask when it would happen). The grid connection did not happen until 22/2 (again, the day after we telephoned to inquire).
However, it is all working well, generating electricity just as it should, and we certainly feel we could contact them easily if we needed any assistance. We'd recommend them, with encouragement to stay on the case until the grid connection is done.

Organised and efficient

Sales person was clear and informed, able to answer all our questions without hesitation.
Installers were very friendly, Punctual and Organised, from arrival to departure they did what they needed to do with minimum distyrbance or disruption to us. Cleaned up very well upon completion of the work and explained what had been done before leaving.
Customer service was very good, some items took longer than I expected but they kept us updated and informed. Still waiting for grid feed-in to be finished by our service provider but the syatem is working and I have seen a reduction in our useage.

Goes the extra mile

After 4 (!) other installers turned us down (either due to us having a two-storey home or that our roof was "too small" to bother even giving us a quote), Online Air & Solar were able to rise to the challenge and fit 5.28kW on the roof. The quoting process was excellent, with fast response times (minutes to hours) and prompt updates based on feedback. The price was more than reasonable. We even got booked in just a couple of days after our Solar Victoria rebate was approved

On install day the team arrived exactly when they said they would and were very professional and knowledgeable. They took the time to route the cabling back to the switchboard (which had very difficult access) so that ugly conduit was not required on the outside of the house. Communication was excellent. I'd also neglected to specify a consumption meter but the installers were able to pre-run the cabling for this and I got a quote back to add it within an hour. Really impressed! The install of the panels on the roof was rained off, but they returned after the weekend and completed it then, along with the consumption meter as quoted

The final system has been installed very tidily, and they did not even break a single tile on our roof. Paperwork was all filed as promptly as possible. Couldn't ask for better!
