Not perfect but still did a great work.
I rated TMEC 4.8 stars and not a perfect 5 because although the installation was done well it still is not perfect. But comparing to other installation photos I've seen before their work is at par ai would say.The sparky who installed my additional solar panels and battery was still new to the company and maybe that's why his workmanship is not as what I have expected but nonetheless he's still did a pretty neat job and is a kind lad.
With regards to the service, I would rate them 5 out of 5 as they reply to my queries promptly and they are very helpful. I haven't had any issue with my new system, so I don't know their after-service support but hopefully they are easy to deal with.

Installation was very professional and completed within agreed time lines with removal of previous panels. Ongoing updates through the day with minimal disruption.
Sales and quoting were excellent and a contributing factor for proceeding with TMEC. Consultant called within 24 hours of requesting the quote, the other provider called about three weeks after the initial request. Installation date brought forward which was good, lead electrician on site at agreed time and made contact the day before to ensure start time, customer service was okay, account department needs to be more responsive and offer bpay facilities.14 September 2026
Great service, product and installation.
TMEC installed my solar and battery system roughly 2 months aga and i couldn't be happier with the results.It was an excellent experience during the entire process from quoting to installation.
They provided multiple quotes and options to try and get the best system possible for my needs. They weren't the cheapest quotes, but they weren't the most expensive either. A good middle ground.
The installation team did a great job, even with a few issues that came up during the install.
The support team was helpful at solving any issues that I had post installation.

Looking Forward To No Electricity Bills
Had an upgrade to an existing system (6.6KW with 5 KW inverter) by doubling the size of the system to 13.2KW with an additional 14, 475KW Jinko panels, replacing previous Solax inverter with 20KW Sigenergy inverter and adding a 27KW Sigenergy battery. Sales and quoting process was easy and representative was able to provide options and recommendations to consider. Install became a bit tricky with limited wall space and so there was exposed conduit as a result, but that was unavoidable. The installation team were polite and punctual. A bit early to comment on system performance but expect that the system will provide the desired outcome of saying goodbye to future electricity bills and having a black out back up.19 July 2026

Moderate Price, Good Quality, Good customer service
Moderate Price: I would say moderate and competitive pricing, it’s not cheap neither it’s ridiculously expensive as compared to so many other quotesGood Products: they offered me with options to choose for inverter, Sungrow and Fronius. They both good brands. Solar panels were up to date with the latest technology so i liked that. And the warranty are similar to others.
Good customer service: I felt good customer service because they explained me about the system and products and answered my queries and it didn’t feel like they just trying to sell you the system.

Thorough sales rep. Great installer.
Good experience generally. Neat installation, with polite, efficient installers. They organised the Energex paperwork. They turned up on time on the day, one niggle was no text confirming that they would be there. Really would have been nice as lead times are currently long so easy to forget when they are installing.More instruction/information on hardware installed would have been nice.

Great local Sunshine Coast installer
TMEC's price was competitive, although not the lowest. Preliminary communication was good, and numerous options were provided, along with clear explanations. And the Web-based quotation system was clear and comprehensive. But perhaps of most significance for us was that TMEC is a wholly local company - this is important for us (in all of our significant purshases) because it supports local businesses and their employees. Local businesses have a lot at stake to provide good service in smaller communities, so one can usually expect them to be reliable.All the TMEC staff with whom we interacted were helpful and polite, and the installation crew were efficient and diligent, even continuing to work despite constant light rain on the first day (happily our roof is a very safe configuration). Given that it was the Christmas period plus solar installers being very busy, TMEC provided more than a month's notice of the install date and turned up promptly on the nominated day.
The installation was conducted smoothly and hassle-free and all our enquiries were addressed courteously
and clearly. The company took care of all the connection requirements.
We are very happy with TMEC and the way the whole process was conducted.

We're Happy
TMEC: The quoting process was efficient and honest, as was their advice. I was immediately impressed with their knowledge base. The sales and installation teams rolled up when they said they would and were friendly, professional and efficient in performing their tasks. The quote was not the cheapest but it was very competitive. However TMEC is a locally owned small business and that heavily influenced our selection process.Panel rating: 5/5

Good communication
The quote took a while because I was trying to compare the 'same' with 'same' and it eventually came down to the best price for near identical systems. TMEC, both office and electricians/installers, were always friendly and quite prepared to explain fully any questions I had. A date was given and installed on. Was shown how it would work under different scenarios. Everything is as good as could be hoped for. The battery is exporting to the grid but just needs the energy supplier to alter the connection type from what it was to what it now is. Was also shown the app and can now monitor it anytime. 10 months later we asked Ian: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Knowing what I know now, and if I could have afforded it, I would have installed the maximum number of solar panel that the system, and roof, was capable of taking. This is because, with 11kWH of panels, if you get 4 or more low solar days, the battery will gradually discharge and not have enough stored power to last until the solar can charge it again, as well as the house consumption, so you end up having to pay, instead of breaking even, which was the goal.
